Re: Czech army
I agree, Russia would not be wasting so much money on their military if it weren't for HATO and the general west, but the difference is that Russia has no choice but to boost spending and ironically they get much better value for money, while HATO gets screwed by the US MIC.
But in the case of Russia the military spending fuels development and progress because they make their own stuff, while most HATO countries buy off the shelf from other countries making a nice profit from their irrational fears.
A large part of bullying China and Russia is deflection... all the economic problems the west faces are Putins fault it seems, and have nothing to do with all the endless wars the west has poured trillions into in the last 30 years while neglecting infrastructure and social spending...

Re: Czech army
Excellent news... the more they spend on weapons and the less on people the more damage they will do to their country.
The irony is that if their fears become reality and they end up fighting Russia... Russia does not want to take Europe, it does not need more land... it will just nuke the bits it find threatening to it... I am sure the latest model Leopard will be ideal for such a situation.

Re: Czech army
You come to this forum... do you not read while you are here?
The Russian economy is growing and developing, infrastructure is being built, they are building more roads than they have ever built, more rail lines, airfields, upgrading ports that have been neglected for the longest time.
They been spending 65 billion a year on their military which is a tiny fraction of their overall budget, while spending on important things that create growth as well, 15 to 20 years ago they were totally dependant on the west for food and technology but now they make their own, but their government has funded all of this without borrowing like the west, which seems to have the model of borrow and spend borrow and spend and let our children deal with the problem... and that was fine in the past when interest rates were tiny so it didn't make sense to save a lot of money because a million dollars in the bank wont earn much interest and in five years time it will buy you rather less than what it will buy you now, so it makes more sense to spend it now and borrow it when you need it because the interest rates for borrowing are quite low too... except Covid and except war in Europe and except new war against China and all of a sudden food shortages and economic damage and more borrowing, but now inflation and now interest rates are going up but interest rates on borrowed money will go up faster than paid interest on money in the bank...
The democrat dominated US media wants the amount they can borrow to be increased so they can keep spending, while the Republican party want spending to stop on BS America does not need... who is going to win... who cares... the point is that they are all bloody idiots borrowing and spending like that will solve their problems... including issues like the Ukraine which isn't even their problem... you can tell because they don't give a shit how many Orcs are dead... they just want to inflate the numbers for Putins men.
Putins goals are basically to break HATO, either by getting it to overspend, or to over promise... yes we will save you Kiev... oops... run away run away... Kabul round two... and so soon... perhaps defensive organisations like HATO was supposed to be should not play war for a hobby and only for survival like Russia does.

Re: Czech army
Our Swedish (but I bet he's even more tanned rhan me lmao) friend here doesn't know what he's talking about.
Its always projection with you clowns. NATO built up the AFU for 15 years and lost the vast majority of not just hohol hardware, but even now are losing their own warstocks they can't even replace in just 1 year of SMO.
Note the keyword - replace. Russia is modernizing its armor fleet with hordes of T-90Ms now - not in 5 or 10 (realistically never) that some NATO statelets are projecting. Every week a massive missile strike takes place that involves many and far better missiles than you would find in a NATO chihuahua's arsenal...
As if 50 year old leopards with new LCDs can be a threat...

Re: Czech army

They are being nice because they know they are winning, but if they think they can't win they can't move... Ukraine is their neighbour no matter what and they can't just up and run away like HATO did in Afghanistan and everywhere else.
If they thought they were going to lose then they could shift to brutal mode... as mentioned by some members... hit food production and storage, water, electricity, make the civilian population force a conclusion by either leaving or demanding their leadership surrender....
The really amusing thing is that HATO thinks Kiev can win because of the shit stuff they are sending to them... even if the US was sending F-35s they would be destroyed because there is no IADS network to go with it so they will be sitting ducks.
European countries are already at breaking point unable to send more money or weapons and finding a few million Ukrainian refugees are burning up their resources that are needed by their own people in current difficult economic times... not to mention energy costs...
When the solution is always more money on weapons and more sanctions you know western countries have got no idea what they are doing and cannot solve this situation for themselves...

Re: Czech army
Western leaders are intellectually and morally bankrupt. They may be very talented at brown-nosing and office politics but when it comes
to statecraft they are utter idiots pulling the most primitive "solutions". The most common is spending more money, because that is well
known to solve all problems and because they are not personally responsible for that money. The chirp of politicians calling for more money
is the noise made by mentally deficient clowns.

Excellent.... the operational costs alone will draw funds and resources from everything else and make them rather weak in a plane not stealthy or reliable enough to even use...
