I'm not sure what the problem is but I have doubts it's pressure, inasmuch as Russia is already alienated from the west over Ukraine. According to one report I saw, it stems from limited Iranian funds. Tehran wanted Moscow to give it technology to produce spare parts for SU-35s so it wouldn't have to keep buying costly spares. But Russia didn't agree...

If Iran had the SU 30sm(or the upgraded version) or SU 35s, it may have helped.

Inability to get the SU-35 now might be a blessing in disguise if a better, 5th generation alternative becomes available in a few years.

All Iran can do now is, support it's allies the best it can and play the long game. The long game has been the most effective for Iran.

20 or so sukhoi won't change the balance for Iran against the US air power. It's like those migs Ukrane is getting right now, totally useless.

Their guided cruise and ballistic missiles are a real game changer. And they are totally autonomous for producing them.

Arming their militias with small range fateh-110 with 300km range and drones that are present all around any US base in the middle east is also a game changer.

They would need to modernize their air force with new hets but at the end it won't impact any war with the US because they would buy just a few dozens. That would help against countries like pakistan, afghanistan or Azerbaijan but certainly not against the US which are the main enemy right now and for the next 10-15 years.

That's true. But if Iran/Hezbollah/Palestine intends to win this war then they will have to take out Israeli air power. Air power is making the big difference for Israel not so much their group troops. Maybe Iran should ship cruise, ballistic missiles to Hezbollah.

Already US Navy is bombing Palestine.

I am not feeling bad about this one.

I once heard that if all the Chinese , decided to jump up and down at the same time , that it would affect the rotation of Earth ! If all ME countries , launched a single missile , at the same time towards Israel , then it would affect the outcome of the war .
