Most likely. It shows what Israel really thinks about these goatfuckers and they are being proactive. They knew Assad was rational, and with that, a predictable player. Russia should learn from them, when it comes to action. Stop being so reactive all the time.
From what I have seen of the terrorists they seem to want good relations with everyone including Israel so these attacks by israel might end up biting them in the arse.
This is complete bullshit. Syria is a major client of Iran, not Russia.
Russia helped Syria because it was in their interests to do so... the nutters destroying Syria would likely stir things up in Russia next so it made sense to kill them in Syria than risk them coming to Chechnia or Dagestan or later the Ukraine.
If the Syrian people had voted Assad out of power and some other person into power Russia would have accepted their choice in the matter... they were not there to protect Assad as such, just prevent the chaos of Libya where factions with nothing in common defeat a government and then cannot agree on who will run the country... chaos.
Instead they started putting army on the ground and sending them into combat to do Syrian job for them
The HTS are not pro American, they seem to be pro Turkish which means Russia could probably negotiate something... if Russia could swing the HTS to fight the Americans and Kurds to get their fertile land and oil wells back Syria could recover much faster... and the Americans could be ejected too.
What it can be said that you're paying a great price for it. Which is to be expected after so many mistakes.
What price? What mistakes?
The fact that you didn't mention any of this a month ago suggests you didn't see this coming either...
Everyone is laughing at the SAA, but I am willing to bet my life savings that if Russia wanted to take Europe every country west of Poland would fold like that to.
To be fair the propaganda bullshit we have been subjected to claim battles and fighting, but it seems now it was an abdication and Assad and his family left the country and his forces have surrendered without a fight as ordered to do so.
But some whiny little bitches have to blame someone, so obviously Putin and Russias fault and the world will hate Russia now because they didn't save the day despite there being no fight in the first place.
Russia's mistake was to trust the West back in the 90s and 2000s and then sleep on the job while the color revolutions took place and Western influence crept into the Ukraine.
To be fair if Russia had been hostile from the start they would not have been able to buy lots of technology and equipment from the west, which they learned from and used their science skills to build with to get where they are very much level with the west in quite a few areas and ahead in many others... IRBMs, hypersonic cruise missiles, Covid vaccines... soon cancer vaccines, economic growth, energy and food exports, relations with countries in the global south... etc etc...
The biggest mistakes were made by the West.
The western mistakes were fundamental... cutting off cheap Russian gas in the hopes of getting it even cheaper... turning a potential very powerful friend into a very powerful enemy that is now going to work with the other powerful western rival countries against western imperialism... which the west does not realise is actually good for the west... imperialism is making the very rich even richer and everyone else in the west poorer and will destroy western society in the long run anyway.
Russia just made a go of trying to destabilize Zelensky and then negotiating some agreements with him when that didn't work - but it lost little from trying and failing anyway. And the rest is just the unenviable but inevitable job of grinding down the nationalist-brainwashed Ukrainian army and systematically destroying all the war materials NATO floods in there from their own stocks.
Not to mention the financial cost of rearming and reequipping for Eastern Europe is going to be cripplingly expensive now it is all made in the US by the most corrupt country and companies on the planet...
To victor the spoils, happy hunting
Israel proving it is not in the loop and trying to protect its own interests by puffing up as big as they can to look scary.
If the Israelis don't know what is going on then you can bet the US doesn't either... this seems to be Turkey driven.
Which will be interesting because their next step will be and always is to push Kurds away from their territory...
Are that moron Lavrov and his blonde bitch finally getting kicked out?
The finnish nazi is loving your posts... save some lube for him.
Does anyone believe the moderate terrorists will turn against Israel and become a bigger problem than Assad?
I would say they are Turkey funded and will turn on the Kurds instead...
Russia is actually harboring that loser maggot?
Jesus Christ, birds of feather I guess...
Western media is going on about his oppression and evil... I would say give him his own street in Moscow... the news here accused him of using barrel bombs and chemical weapons... it seems barrel bombs are the latest WMD... western media are so ignorant.
Besides Finnish media said he was dead, so maybe he is the second coming of Jesus Christ?
The devil... sorry western media seem to hate his guts so that checks out...
Wasn't there some doomsday cult that said something about a power in the Middle East supported by Russia would rise up and the world would yadda yadda yadda...
If you actually think Russia will keep their bases there, I have a bridge to sell you!
They have a signed agreement and this new group would be foolish to burn bridges.... The US are still in Guantanimo... do you think Cuba wants them to leave?
Russia has been bombarding goatfuckers for almost a decade and in this situation they would want to return a favor. So, kudos to Turkey!
The US would never have been as civilised as these goat fucking terrorists... but you keep cheering for them.
As for the Russian bases it still up in the air. It will really depend on what type of government is formed and which way they lean
There are other countries in the Med where Russia can build bases and fund the local economy...
All the people who had the hope that they could stand up to the West and the Zionists were betrayed tonight. Yes, almost sold.
Syria was a fractured country to begin with... like Yugoslavia.... in fact the entire middle east was designed that way... the borders were created after WWI ended drawing up borders and creating royal families and countries based on where the oil deposits were rather than on ethnic lines.
That is why there is no Kurdistan...
The Domino chain will trigger now and in the end Moscow will fall just like Damaksu did tonight.
Yes, because Russia is vulnerable to collapse because of all the sanctions and so many Russians love the west they want to self destruct and suck American balls like the Ukrainians did...
Are you stupid?
Just breathe, you are having a panic attack and are talking shit.
Syria just collapsed and Assad has been deposed... it happens... it is not going to happen in Russia. The Russian people understand they are stronger together and the west is the enemy doing the work of evil.
Ask the Libyans or now the Syrians and Ukrainians...
As long as it takes has become 20th January.
All efforts in Ukraine are in vain. The resistance was destroyed tonight.
Ukraine has nothing to do with Syria. The resistance was ordered to stand down because Assad gave up and didn't want hundreds of thousands of Syrians to kill each other... you know... the way the US and EU would love for them to do... it sells more bullets and guns you know...
The Syrian army were ordered to lay down their arms to prevent a blood bath... there was an agreement made... lets see how that works out.
Iran only talked, but it did not act. Russia was just talking, making deals and selling Syria along with it.
Iran and Russia weren't party to the talks and no one was sold out. Assad made a choice to avoid a bloody civil war he clearly didn't think he could win.
They were so stupid and watched in Syria instead of making an internal coup to keep Syria.
Keep Syria for what... they are not a poodle... or a nice pair of shoes.
You can't play als gentlemen against an evil snake.
You can kill a snake without becoming a snake.
Otherwise you end up like Syria, Libya, Iraq, GAZA, etc.
Little powers that can be manipulated by the west and internally to make the wrong choices... Saddam and Gadaffi and even Assad made very bad choices, thinking the west was their friend at certain times. Iraq seems to have woken up and Assad was almost out of time before he woke up, but it really wasn't enough to save him.
I would say the civil war and loss of oil and food production doomed Assads Syria to fail... this new leadership is going to have to either negotiate back the productive territory or it will have to fight the Kurds for it... HTS is Turkey supported so it might be the latter to deal with the US and EU supported Kurds... which will mean the calls of moderate rebels and moderate terrorists defeating the evil dictator Assad might turn to evil terrorists fighting Kurdish freedom fighters... and America is there to save Syria from these terrorists who call themselves HTS but are in fact ISIS two with less atrocities... but of course western media will dig up all the old footage of their atrocities and show it to reveal the monsters these terrorists really are.... their crime... stealing oil that the US is stealing from the Syrian people.
After Aleppo fell, it became clear that Assad had no real intentions of staying in power, so we started to engage in diplomatic talks with the opposition, and arranged the safe exit of our troops from Syria. If the SAA does not fight, neither will we risk our soldiers' lives. Russia and the UAE had managed to convince him to step down, so there was nothing we could do.”
But your last post you blamed Russia and Iran for this mess... that kinda makes it look like Assads decision actually.
I'm afraid that the West - being ecstatic from its victory in Syria - will now push even harder in Ukraine.
Your fear means nothing. The situation in the Ukraine just continues to get worse for Kiev and Trump is even talking about ceasefires before he takes office... is he afraid about how much territory Russia might take in the next month?
They saw how easily Russia was defeated in Syria and they are convinced that Russia is never going to retaliate no matter how much the West escalates (and Putin is to blame for this with his endless restraint!).
There was no fight, the Syrian Government forces surrendered. If the west thinks Russia will be easy to beat in Ukraine then let them send in Finnish troops and Polish troops and French troops to find out.
I'm also afraid Russia will have to find a way to hit West directly (hopefully without causing WWIII) to secure its victory in Ukraine.
The front line is moving west... Russia just needs to continue doing what it is doing and not start peace talks with any ceasefires in it.
About Russian ports and bases in the Med Sea , or any base outside of Russian territory . A base can be self sustaining or not . A self sufficient base , is best . Difficult to imagine ? Not if this base exists within a territory , with an industrial base . In this case then , it does not need an umbilical cord to mother nation .
During the cold war the Soviets tested the idea of a floating port in the middle of international waters in the Med where ships could dock and refuel and rearm and support and supply ships could deliver goods and essentials... even sub tenders could support subs tied up on one of these floating docks...
Those bases are useless. Syria is under the control now of a NATO puppet regime.
That is not a forgone conclusion... These terrorists are supported by Turkey but even the US calls them terrorists and is only now that they succeeded is talking about supporting them and talking to them, but does that mean a flip flop... because US forces are supporting the Kurds and the Kurds and HTS only had getting rid of Assad as a shared goal... that goal is now gone so where do they see the future of Syria going... split up into bits where the Kurds get the oil and food production centres?
I don't think so.
And how would it look if Russia told him to f-off? Find me a leader who would build an alliance with Moscow then.
Plus his crimes were pissing off and opposing the imperial west... they should build statues for him... in Kiev.
To Russians the West can't promise anything we aren't capable of providing for ourselves, in our own country. We know the future is ours.
Plus the west tends to destroy countries it pretends to be saving...
Russia needs to bolster Iran's defenses. That's the priority now. Some ballistic missile technology, new fighters, and a reform of its ground component would be a good start.
Seems to be what they are doing.
As sad and funny as this is, atleast Russia now has a new alliance that won't fold so quickly.
Russian and Iranian intervention was all that kept him going all this time but the US and EU occupying the more valuable and productive parts of his country essentially doomed them to a poor weak future... he decided to step down to avoid bloodshed and offer Syria a better future... shame western polticians would never even consider such a gesture... Biden, Moron, other western leader/dictators.
However, Assad refused, reportedly saying he did not want to drag Syria into a possible open confrontation with Israel & he did not want to risk jeopardizing his normalization progress with the Gulf States.
So now Israel thinks Assad is the good guy?
Let them. They've dug themselves a bunch of graves. Ones far down below the surface in a bed of reinforced concrete that all of a sudden get demolished by 4000 degree Celcius rods of metal. If they are stupid enough to disregard the latest warnings.
No ATACMS strikes into Russian territory since the Hazelnut attack, so they clearly got the message it seems despite the western propaganda machine claiming dummy warheads that did no damage.
You know, the same leaders who said that they welcome friendly relations with Israel and Israeli investment?
Their position is a bit fragile so of course they will want to be friends with everyone... but currently Israel is bombing them...
So yeah, if they weren't so fuggin evil, Israel's intel apparat should be lauded for pulling the intel coup of the century.
Clever scum is still scum.
Comment from Iranians, about opening a new front in Syrian Golan heights after October 7, just shows how disconnected they are from reality. That would just hasten Assad's demise.
Or it might have gained him respect of arab governments and the peoples of arab countries in the region...
Would Israel escalate too much against Syria with the risk of them letting Iran come in and fight Israel directly... perhaps with Russian and Iranian air defence systems getting a good test too.
"The example of Syria shows that Russia can be kicked out and will return home. The Baltic countries were right - the West was strong enough to win. We do not need to be afraid of the "bear" in Ukraine or anywhere else where he sows chaos," - Lithuanian Foreign Minister
Lithuania talking big talk... wonder if this will be followed up with them sending their entire army to fight in the Kursk pocket to defeat Russian troops personally?
Terrorism and human rights abuses are on the 'record' of a number of groups in Syria, but "they are saying the right things now."
Those records will be produced as evidence if they don't dance to Americas tune and allow America to continue to steal the wealth of Syria...
The US will work with all Syrian groups to ensure a transition of power: the country needs a new government and a new constitution.
The US had nothing to do with this but now are going to get involved to make sure the future of Syria conforms to the demands of the US... US companies pumping all Syrian oil and all those food production regions owned by Blackrock.
And of course Russia and Iran out and Israel in where they want too.
Just look at officials, they are all afraid because they just made a huge mistake. Maybe that's why russians let it happen.
Careful what you wish for...
US and Israel continue airstrikes in Syria
They seem to be attacking the terrorists more than Assad or the Russians did.
Makes it pretty clear they had nothing to do with this and are just trying to get the best deal out they can manage...
Check Tass this morning, Russian opposition leader says he will let the Russians stay in their bases.
Now that Assad is going all those factions, including some serious nutters... like US special needs, sorry special forces, will have different views on the future of the country so the opposition groups now have to talk or fight it out so having the Russians there might be useful if they can get agreements regarding US and EU and Israeli forces illegally in the country...
Some here are claiming it's a catastrophe for Russia. No, it's not. It's just a waste of everything Russia tried to do there. But maybe Russia had no business trying anything in the first place.
You can lead a horse to water... maybe the moderate rebels will form a government that Russia can work with.
If they are not stupid or already bought they will understand the EU and US want to steal from them and keep them weak and have their own agenda, Russia has been talking and working with Israel and Turkey and the Taliban, their diplomatic skills are far superior to those of the EU and US... who use leverage to bully and demand and lecture...
Even if they have to leave, so what... wasn't the Russian Navy in talks with Sudan or other African countries regarding bases?
They are negotiating a trade corridor that goes through the Caspian through Iran to the sea.
Doing to Damascus what they did to Beirut?
No matter what anyone does the west and israel will always find a way to bomb and kill people. It is the nature of the scorpion to kill.
Iraq is in the middle of nowhere and Iran is next on the chopping block
Iran is no where near as fragmented and broken as syria was... Iran pumps oil and gas for sale on the international market and make money from that.
Bases in Syria can easily be supplied from the sea, as long as you don't pussy out they are yours
Russia is not America, those bases are not Guantanimo bay and will not be used as a concentration camp and extermination camp like the Americans are using it.
What Masyaf, what VDV are you on drugs?
This is turning into a comedy hour.
He is a nice antidote you the nazi brigade who folded faster than the Syrian government forces... but in the defence of the Syrian government forces... they were ordered to fold like a deck chair.
On the one hand, the rebels are a large agglomeration of groups with very different objectives.
The only thing they had in common was to defeat Assad and now that has happened their divisions might lead to chaos... which the Israelis and Americans and EU will most likely encourage as much as possible.
Things look good at the moment for Israel and Turkey.
And things certainly look bad for Russia and Iran.
Not really. Assad was not the friend of Israel or Turkey, but the chaos that will follow is not to their benefit either.
For Russia and Iran it is not really that bad... certainly Russia might be able to negotiate a new agreement over the bases... certain factions have dealt with Russia before and probably trust Russia to keep its word over many of the factions it has been working with to date.
If it comes to nation building the terrorists would be much better off with Russia than with the EU or US who just want to steal their oil and food production areas held by the Kurds.
With Assad gone they might unite against the Kurds to get their country back and its wealth... which is probably why Assad resigned... if he couldn't get the oil and food production areas back his country would be doomed to poverty.
He'll let the conflict freeze Which will no doubt backfire and possible be the end of Russia.
Putin and Lavrov have said repeatedly a freeze is not acceptable without any other concessions. They will not agree to a ceasefire so Kiev can be rearmed and prepared to fight again.
No deal is better than a bad deal for them... they are winning... Trump is making ceasefire offers already because he is afraid that Kievs forces might collapse or Russia might just keep advancing and in a months time the Kiev forces might be in tatters like the Russian economy was supposed to be by now.
lol Putin launched the only high intense European war of 21 century
There will be no peace deal or withdrawal from Syria
There will be Alawistan and Novorossiya and Malorossiya
You are being laughed at for your confidence, which the nazi crew will say is misplaced... ignoring most were saying Russia is over and the west will now walk all over them like the US walks all over the EU like it was a door mat. Assad and his family even died at one point according to these experts... evidence of their plane being shot down and everything...
I don't think Russias position in Syria is particularly strong but I don't think it is a total loss either... the rebels are not a unified group except in their opposition to Assad... some will be ISIS nutters, some will be more moderate... the west claims they are all moderates of course because they hope to use them, but if they truly want a free and democratic and independent Syria they will now have to fight the EU and US and Israel...
Russia can make moves on Masyaf once the other 3 are tied down in the east/South
Assuming the terrorists can form a stable government their first piece of business will be those oil fields and food production which means fighting or talking to the Kurds... and that is a big if assuming they can form a stable government.
It will either be Libya or might be Iraq, but I would bet more money on the capacity of Russia to negotiate things than for the US or EU to do the same...
That and Iran being the most pathetic and incompetent regime in history is the reason why Syria fell.
Syria fell because Assad folded and told the army to fold too. He clearly didn't see a financial future for the country and a restart in the civil war with Syrians killing Syrians wont make things better... even if the government forces won the cost would cripple the economy for decades to come.... not to mention the loss of people.
Of course the rebels might descend into chaos and a mass exodus of Syrian refugees could be directed to the EU to find luxury and comfort they could not find at home because the west keeps fucking their country over and over for its wealth...
To the extent that Putin is too cautious and gullible,
Gullible has nothing to do with it... Russia was not included in talks between the Syrian government and the terrorists.
Cautious is why Russia is where it is now... fighting the entire western world single handedly... so warsaw pact, no soviet republics, no eastern block really... and he has handled things masterfully. No knee jerk reactions that would start WWIII, no stupid petty reactions that would alienate Russia like shooting down Turkish planes when Turkey shot down Russian aircraft... and overall the results speak for themselves.
There was a time when Russia thought they would lose Sevastopol... now they have the Crimea and the Russian federation is expanding.
Imagine if the EU and US push too hard and Georgia and South Ossetia and Abkhazia join the RF too... just being silly there of course... Russia does not need them...
How can we know that ? The US is non agreement capable as we all know. Who knows what can happen
The US has nothing to do with HTS, they are allied to the Kurds. HTS is Turkish funded...
Did it ever occur to you that the reason why your clients keep fücking up is because they know that all they need to do is to fúck you over, fúck up on the job and that you will immediately reward them with lifetime all expenses paid trip to Russia courtesy of Russian taxpayers?
Assad likely brought his own funds and will be a tax payer rather than a burden.
Zelensky will likely also be a tax payer with the billions he will have stolen and it will be a chance for the UK to get some of its money back.
Hardly a situation which motivates to do what you are told
The west instructs its proxies on what it can or cannot do... ie Zelensky was prohibited from speaking with Carlson. The Russians don't exert that level of control to its clients/friends/allies... otherwise Armenia would be behaving instead of lashing out... but they are now a liability that Russia would benefit from losing ties with these days.
Russia intervened way too late in Syria anyway. Why ? Because of the stupid fucking Iran nuclear deal. Russia just loves its diplomacy and takes it seriously.
Which is why Russia is respected and talked to and negotiated with, and the American bullies are just feared for their evil and destruction... who can make any agreement with the west these days?
Does anyone here belive these jihadis are actually gonna tolerate a Russian base in Syria once the dust has settled? Russia fought them for over 10 years and they are not the forgiving sort.
The ones they fought will have a level of respect, especially for the good work they did, plus there will be much softer targets they can hit... hitting the Russians would be like going after getting the Golan heights back...
Not their first or second option on their to do list.
I'll give it less than a week before 100's of drones, mortar shells and rocket artillery starts pounding those bases daily and a few months before Russia is routed from Syria entirely.
If they are US made drones sent to Syria because they failed in Ukraine because Russian jamming rendered them useless then I don't see them doing any better in Syria. Russian forces can defend themselves... and those terrorist groups have lots of other much softer targets they can take on instead of Russian held positions.
Even the Israelis wont attack Russians in Syria on purpose. Neither will the Americans.
Yes the Jihadis would never dare f*ck with Russia, except that's exactly what they did and they're literally winning right now.
You make these guys out to be super soldiers... they over ran an enemy ordered to stand down and lay down their arms.
Russian troops will not have such orders...
Russian troops have sniper rifles that can kill people 2,5km away in the dark.
How many years did they have to do this in Idlib? How long did they let the USA be all cosy in Northern Syria? Russia is not ruthless enough. Once again they find themselves having to take the word of their good buddy Erodgan.
Russia was helping Assads forces defeat ISIS. The US forces were aligned with the Kurds... which is a different conflict.
The future warlords of Syria will want Russia on their side.
I hope for Syrias sake these terrorist groups can work together, but I suspect a Libya scenario is more likely, but either way all the factions except the hard core ones are going to want good relations with Russia.
Yes, this has been historically Russia's fate. Not being ruthless enough and having to suffer because of it.
The demise of the French empire and the British empire were because of their ruthlessness and it will likely be the demise of the US empire too... and when they can be honest about it they will celebrate the demise of such barbarity to other countries.
Until then there will be pain and suffering and no real progress for most of the countries of the world.
Fortunately BRICS is working against that...
Alex Mercouris thinks Russia will take steps over the following weeks to abandon their bases in Syria. I didn't expect him to think this.
They have an agreement with the Syrian government regarding their bases. Whether a new government forms and can be stable will likely determine what they do... the US and EU will no doubt try to divide and destroy like they always do in the hopes they can keep what they have stolen.
Bastards to the end.
Turkey wont want Kurds to have a separate state and wont want a broken country on its border.
Israel will take as much as it can because it can... that is what they do.
Let's see, but fighterbomber say that some are ready to leave
If chaos erupts then it makes sense to be ready to leave quickly, but that is only a sensible precaution.
In order for the Russians to keep these bases secure they would need to control the entire province.
They do not have the manpower in Syria for that now.
Spoken like an invader occupier...
Russia could easily reach agreements with the locals... that would benefit both sides.
Defunct SAA? Troops they ran before they will run again.
They were ordered to surrender to prevent unnecessary loss of life... I know... the opposite of US goals... murder murder murder... war war war...
And anyone here who trusts what HTS says is out of their mind
The Biden whitehouse...
Glad to see we still have people ready to depend on Erdogan's benevolence, or on his alleged fear of Russia
Erdogan does not benefit from a Libyan shithole for a neighbour splintered into 100 pieces with the biggest piece calling itself Kurdistan and wanting parts of Turkey and Iraq and Iran to create a greater Kurdistan with a lot of oil and farmland and wealth to take from the countries it used to be parts of.
Of course blame the Europeans for that problem waiting to happen.
Erdo is not affreid of Russia. He still owns Putin big. He made him stay alive after Obama orchestrated coup.
Not to mention that Russia pumps most of the piped gas it sells through Ukraine and Turkey and the agreements on the Ukraine pipeline are about to expire at the end of this month... three weeks away... So Turkey is going to be the piped gas source for Europe from Russia... unless Germany decides to restart that one nord stream pipe that is intact but not certified... and they wont because Trump will likely impose sanctions if they do.
That gives Erdogan lots of power over the EU really and also that NPP Russia is building in Turkey is going to be useful too... Turkey benefits more from good relations with Russia than it does with good relations with the US or EU...
The situation with the US support for the Kurds actually hurts Turkey... but the US does not care.
Hurting allies is as much fun as hurting enemies it seems.
The situation in the east of the Euphrates is rapidly deteriorating as, tonight, local Arab tribes have driven US-backed YPG forces out of Al-Karamah town. Although the SDF-YPG coalition still controls the east of Euphrates, numerous towns and villages are increasingly turning against them. Rebels have already seized control of Deir ez-Zor city and the key border town of Al-Bukamal.
So now the moderate terrorists are fighting US proxy forces things are deteriorating?
In 48 hours, #Israel occupied almost twice the seize of #Gaza Strip in #Syria after declaring war on #Damascus.
Think these HTS fighters with Turkish support want to fight Russia and the Israelis and the US and EU supported Kurds all at once?
Surprised Erdogan is talking up relations with Russia?
Best just to wipe their hands of the affair and wait to see who will emerge in 5-10 years time. And then build relations with them.
I would say Russian diplomacy is the best in the region and waiting to see what happens makes a lot of sense.
Israel and the US and the EU will want to take control of the HTS groups but I think ultimately they don't have the same goals in mind... they will all want Assad out, but the US and EU and Israelis will want themselves in and Russia and Turkey out... and HTS will want Syria for Syrians... something Turkey will agree to if the Kurdish question is sorted. Russia has no ties or promises to the Kurds who have chosen the US and EU teams.
IMO Putin should do this, Crave out the area, declare it now a part of the Russian Federation make it an Atom republic and bam you now have a permanent Med naval base Russia, I would say thats worth the investment when all you need to do is punch HTS in the face
Western propaganda has blinded you... Putin is only an imperial leader in western fictionial depictions of him... and it is mostly a reflection of western imperial ambitions being painted around him to make him look as bad as the west actually is.
It's still close enough to Russia it's not a major problem, as for the rest I can see what your saying but time isn't on the russian side here
It is the downfall of the west... they never have enough time to think about things and therefore end up doing something quick... and stupid... without thinking things through... you know... tariffs and sanctions, and bullying putin into doing what they want instead of talking and listening to find out what he wants and seeing if an actual trade could be agreed upon.
When the Israelis are done, there won't be a single air defence system, ammunition depot or missile launch site left intact. Then they can stop caring about who comes to power in Syria because the country will be militarily neutered for decades if not forever.
The terrorists wouldn't know how to use most of it anyway, and when required the terrorists likely wont be buying from the west or Iran.... maybe Russia, maybe China... most likely Russia if they want combat proven gear...
Shouldn't that qualify as an "unprovoked and unjustified attack" on Ukraine sorry Syria?
Asking for a friend
When it comes to Israel, waiting 100 years and then following them home and breaking into their house and murdering the entire family including children while they sleep in their bed would be obviously self defence...
This advance of the "opposition" is way too fast. I suppose it is possible that Syria rotted hard from the inside thanks in part to the US control
of its oil and agricultural region to the north east. But it looks like an engineered transition by Syrian government itself. That is, it was a coup
against Assad. The Middle East is going to remain a toilet with such fragile governments.
Assad essentially abdicated and his troops were ordered to surrender and lay down their weapons without a fight.
But plenty blamed Russia and Iran for everything because they are pussies.
