Re: T-72 ΜΒΤ modernisation and variants
Nice.
What he didn't mention was that the log is attached to the tracks, normally because the tracks are just spinning and not getting a grip on the mud or snow the vehicle is sitting on.
Another problem is when the vehicle has bellied out and the ground under the tracks is soft and keeps getting worn away by the tracks spinning and the vehicle is sitting on its belly.
By attaching the log to the tracks, and the tracks go around they scrape out the dirt or snow that is under the tracks and the belly of the vehicle... when it gets to the back they detach it and carry it back around to the front... each time it goes through it removes a layer of dirt or snow and improves the tanks ability to drive out on its own... eventually weight is restored to the tracks and it can drive out.

The film is edited.
In the original, it was an SPG-9 shot intercepted.

I was suprised that Kyle Mizokami seemed to be paying due respect to a competent Russian system, but alas....
Russia’s most modern tank, the vaporware T-14 Armata main battle tank, uses a new system known as Afghanit.
Yeah... he's still a who is only too willing to resort to the mandatory put-downs and insults.

It'll be vaporware till it's in service, then he and others like him will call it all kinds of bad names and crap.
Why does anyone give a time and day to these fags?

First of all **** off.
The T-14 is made in metal and is driving around the place just fine... the definition of not being vapourware dickhead.
Second it describes a problem with APS systems as being like shotguns that shoot down threats but causing danger to nearby friendly troops yet in the video at the top of the screen it is clear ARENA fires its munition upwards and it detonates downwards through the incoming threat and directly into the ground meaning minimal effect on nearby forces... unlike western APS systems for course.
The film is edited.
In the original, it was an SPG-9 shot intercepted.
That video at the top of the article was definitely an RPG-7 because the body rocket was narrower than the warhead in front.
With SPG rockets the rocket body is the same width as the warhead as they both fit inside the launch tube.

Re: T-72 ΜΒΤ modernisation and variants
Looks like a manufacturing defect to me. The hard rubber was not properly bonded to the metal and just fell off.
You can see a bit of the part where it had to tear from the metal but the rest is clean. This indicates that the
epoxy (or whatever bonding method they use) was not fully applied or applied to a dirty surface.

Haha a bit of /pol/ humor. Frankly they are all cesspits but back in the day /pol/ used to have interesting threads once in a blue moon. Bunkerchan contains a remnant of what once was leftypol on infinitychan. Imagine reddit but weirder and even more left leaning.
Edit: had to add extra stuff

T-72B3 tanks with additional protection in the upper projection

Maybe the sensor mast seen on one T-90M at the Army-2021 exhibition has to do with this roof-top armor. The mast gives the commander a good view even with the additional protection on top.
