I'm not really convienced by radar based MAWS, i doubt they can outperforme optical UV/IR spectrum MAWS which have about 15km+ detection range, i doubt those little pulse doppler radar sensors have enough power to beat 15km and ATAM missilse are freakish fast and you need all time you can get and the earlier you detect a threat the more time you have to react.
