A better understanding of how gravity works could lead to anti gravity devices, or directional gravity beams but that is probably a bit exotic for now.

At the unified technical complex of the Vostochny cosmodrome, specialists from the Vostochny Space Center, the Center for Operation of Ground-Based Space Infrastructure Facilities and the State Space Research and Production Center named after M.V. Khrunichev (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation) began preparing the Angara-A5 launch vehicle for the first launch.
Today, specialists conduct a full check of the completeness and operability of technological systems and technical complexes before assembly and testing, as well as the sequence of technological operations and the connectivity of the launch vehicle components.
Tomorrow, autonomous checks of the launch vehicle units begin.

Re: Next Generation Rocket Angara: News
As far as I know, this rocket will fly a version of the Perseus upper stage upgraded after the first unsuccessful flight (the modification for the Vostochny is called Orion), but the control system will use components that will later be used for the Soyuz-5 rocket.
So, Orion - this is a modified Perseus, unified with Soyuz-5, flying to Angara-A5 from the Vostochny cosmodrome. By the way, the launch complex for Angara on Vostochny is the Amur program (it is not related to the Amur-LNG launch vehicle program).

Re: Next Generation Rocket Angara: News
They need to get this in serial production and with the hydrolox upper stage.
Then Baikonur in Kazakhstan will only be of use for the manned space program. It seems like some people still want to prevent manned spaceflight from moving to Vostochny alleging all sorts of bogus technical reasons not to do it.

One great win from the Ukraine fiasco is that IMHO the 5th and 6th column scum in Russia are bound to lose much of their potency in the face of concerted government action and public support of Russias war effort and development trajectory in general. Putin has now turned that long-awaited corner and finally accepted the truth about the feckless b'stardz in the Collective West, and I fully expect he will sign off on increased support for Russias space program as an absolute strategic necessity. 5th/6th column traitors need to be rounded up and sent to a nice remote Siberian labour camp where they can happily enjoy the fresh and bracing outdoor air while assisting with progressive manual fragmentation of igneous rock deposits.

The second stage of testing the Angara complex has begun at the Vostochny Cosmodrome.
Moscow. 12th of February. INTERFAX.RU - The second stage of comprehensive testing has begun at the launch complex for the Angara-A5 heavy launch vehicle at the Vostochny cosmodrome, which will last more than a month, Roscosmos reported.
“At the ceremonial formation of the crew, the deputy head of the launch complex read out an order to transfer the complex from readiness for use to readiness to work with a space rocket,” the press service of the state corporation said.
Then “the work managers gave instructions for the calculations and set tasks for the period of the second stage of comprehensive testing, which will last more than a month.”
On December 11, comprehensive tests of the Angara-NZh electric refueling model were successfully completed at the cosmodrome.
On January 9, the state corporation reported that the first flight launch vehicle Angara-A5 was delivered to the Vostochny Cosmodrome for flight design tests.
On January 23, Roscosmos General Director Yuri Borisov announced that the first launch of the Angara-A5 heavy launch vehicle from the Vostochny Cosmodrome will take place in the first ten days of April.
"Angara" is a family of Russian modular launch vehicles of various payload capacities, created on the basis of universal rocket modules with oxygen-kerosene engines. The family includes launch vehicles from light to heavy classes with a payload range from 3.5 tons (Angara-1.2) to 38 tons (Angara-A5V) in low Earth orbit.

Specialists from the Vostochny Space Center, the Center for Operation of Ground-Based Space Infrastructure Facilities, and the State Space Research and Production Center named after M.V. Khrunichev (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation) docked four side blocks of the first stage to the central block of the second stage of the Angara-A5 launch vehicle in the installation and testing building.
The “package” was assembled on a revolver-type stand, which in October 2023 was used to assemble the Angara-NZh electric refueling prototype.
Specialists are preparing to transfer the assembled “package” of the Angara-A5 launch vehicle to the workplace for docking with the third stage and carry out further checks and operations.

They better make sure everyone in the area and immediate vicinity is thoroughly assessed and their background checks cleared. I'm pretty sure NATzO will not miss an opportunity to sabotage this event to present to the world how Russian tech is primitive compared to the West
Any spies and traitors that are caught needs to be sentenced to a minimum of 2024 years in a hard labor camp in northern Siberia

At the Vostochny cosmodrome, a joint team of specialists from the Khrunichev Center, a branch of JSC TsENKI - CC Vostochny, and RSC Energia carried out operations to assemble the Angara-A5 space rocket. This launch will begin flight testing of the Amur space rocket complex, developed by the State Research and Production Space Center named after. M.V. Khrunicheva.
Yesterday, specialists from the rocket and space industry docked the space head part of the Orion upper stage and the test payload with a “package” of three stages of the Angara-A5 launch vehicle. Currently, electrical checks of the general assembly and preparation for reloading onto a transport and installation unit for transportation to the launch complex are being carried out.

Angara-A5 launch on April 9 is planned around 12:00 Moscow time
I'm sure NATzO thugs and their Ukrop lemmings will not miss a chance to sabotage this event. FSB needs to be firm in securing the surrounding area for any saboteurs.

Re: Next Generation Rocket Angara: News
VOSTOCHNY COSMODROME /Amur Region/, April 9. /TASS/. The launch of an Angara-A5 heavy carrier rocket with an Orion booster from the Vostochny spaceport has been rescheduled for a backup date of April 10, Roscosmos Chief Yury Borisov said on Tuesday.
The launch of the Angara-A5 rocket from the Vostochny spaceport on April 9 has been postponed by 24 hours, he said.
"In this situation, it is necessary to empty fuel and we will look into the final causes and the launch has been tentatively scheduled for a backup date of April 10," Borisov said.
As the Roscosmos chief explained, the liftoff process was halted by automatic equipment two minutes before the launch due to a failure in the central unit’s oxidizer pressure tank.
The first test-launch of an Angara-A5 heavy carrier rocket from the Vostochny spaceport in the Russian Far East was scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Moscow time (9:00 a.m. GMT) on April 9. Previously, Angara carrier rockets lifted off only from the Plesetsk space center in northern Russia.
The launch was expected to start flight development tests of the Amur rocket system that comprises the Angara rocket and the Vostochny spaceport’s infrastructure. In addition, the rocket’s Orion booster was expected to be tested.
Russia is set to complete the tests of Angara light and heavy carrier rockets in 2025.
