Re: Polish Armed Forces: News
We all knew it to be true, but now these poolander cock jockeys are (falsely) confident enough to openly admit it.

US planners must be thinking - "why do the Russians get all the good followers and we get all the retards?"
Polish president admits real purpose of US missile base
Andrzej Duda has said the Aegis facility at Redzikowo was never about defense against ‘Iranian ICBMs’

Re: Polish Armed Forces: News
From Rybar:
About the US missile defense system near the Kaliningrad Region
Polish media have been talking about only one thing in recent days: in Redzikowo, in the far north of the country on the Baltic Sea coast, the long-awaited military base has opened, where the Aegis Ashore missile defense system is deployed.
The system includes three Mk.41 launchers with SM-3 Block IB and SM-3 Block IIA interceptor missiles and an AN/SPY-1D(V) radar. The range of the SM-3 Block IIA exceeds 1,200 km, and the air target detection radar (for cruise missiles, drones) in the missile defense system has a range of about 500 km.
Moreover, this missile defense system provides for the use of new SM-6 surface-to-air missiles, which can be used not only for air defense, but also against surface targets, such as ships. The Americans successfully tested this in 2022.
The most important point is that Redzikowo is located just over 100 km from Kaliningrad. Given the range of both the surface-to-air missiles and the anti-ship version of the SM-6, the base has been created to control the Baltic Sea and our fleet in the area.
This is another step in the West's deliberate and methodical efforts to increase tensions in the Baltic region in recent months, especially with the accession of Finland and Sweden to the Alliance. And with the introduction of the new base, NATO has another pretext to intensify exercises in the region to test the system.

Mk 41 VLS also can fire the Tomahawk and possibly other future land attack weapons designed for it.JohninMK wrote:The system includes three Mk.41 launchers with SM-3 Block IB and SM-3 Block IIA interceptor missiles and an AN/SPY-1D(V) radar. Re: Polish Armed Forces: News
Let them get all paranoid and spend big on super expensive US weapons... those things are not going to get cheaper over time and pretty soon the cost of "defence" is really going to effect their standards of living.
