The plant is planning BTR-4 state tests and delivery to the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the National Guard and other law enforcement agencies to strengthen the country’s defence. Now UKROBORONPROM can produce more BTR-4 on the state order,”

BTR-4E is entirely Ukrainian development, which is highly competitive. The domestic light armored vehicle sample has powerful armament, great speed and protection for the crew. Almost 80 vehicles BTR-4E strengthened Ukrainian army during the military operation in the East of the country.

The President of Ukraine awarded BTR-4E developers with the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology. Specialists of the UKROBORONPROM SE “Kharkiv Morozov Machine-Building Design Bureau” received the reward."

We had few photos from few days ago showing 2 BTR-4s operated by Iraqis in Fallujah tho.

The Skval Turret is leaps and bounds from their pintle mounted Dushka's. In that aspect, I'd take Any BTR over the M1151...

"Ukraine State Concern «Ukroboronprom» unveil upgraded model of BTR-4E armored amphibious vehicle, acording nangu.edu.ua.

The new version of BTR-4 have Deutz engine and received the upgrade package giving it fully amphibious capabilities. The new armored amphibious vehicle can swim at sea and negotiate inland water obstacles without any configuration changes.



The design and layout of the machines allow no modification to produce significant changes, differing levels of protection and established weapons. It can be used in mechanized infantry divisions of ground troops as an armored vehicle or wheeled infantry fighting vehicle.



Lt. Col. Victor Kashpur of National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine took part in the tests of upgraded BTR-4 on the water. Tests were conducted on Saltov reservoir. “According to the test results, I can say that the armored vehicle coped with them perfectly. The peculiarity of this APC – it is very easy to preparing for rafting on the water, quite fast and maneuverable during the movement in the water. We had a race in the water at an angle of 25 degrees, and he easily coped with this task. This is a very powerful armored vehicle and, best of all, Ukrainian production “, – said Victor Kashpur.



The BTR-4 “Bucephalus” is a 8×8 wheeled armoured personnel carrier (APC) designed in Ukraine by the Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau (SOE KMDB) as a private venture. The prototype, which was designed as a private venture, was unveiled at the Aviasvit 2006 exhibition held in Ukraine in June 2006.

The BTR-4 «Bucephalus» is operated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Iraq and Nigeria."

"The upgraded model of new «Varta» armored vehicle was shown by Ukraine copmany «Ukrainian armored vehicles». According to military-informant.com, the armored vehicle is an new variant of upgraded version of the «Varta» armored personnel carrier.

«Varta» is a family of mine-resistant 4×4 light armoured vehicles. It is powered by a 270-hp YaMZ engine which provides a top speed of 120 kph. Its all-steel armor protects the crew, engine and other key components against small arms fire, grenades, anti-personnel mines and land mine detonation under any wheel.

The vehicle accepts eight passengers passengers in addition to the three crew members. The «Varta» vehicle comprises a modified MAZ chassis, an armored superstructure designated and manufactured by Bogdan Corporation. The «Varta» can be armed with a 7.62mm щк 12,7mm machine gun mounted on the turret.

Well, there is a system that made this missile obsolete.



This is the SPR-2M "Rtut-BM" jammer, which is designed to defeat incoming artillery shells/guided or unguided rockets or literally anything that has a proximity fuse. It's presence is confirmed in Donbass, so if Poroshenko would order his troops to fire this "Vilha" missile on a Russian unit that is equipped with this "Rtut-BM" jammer, as soon as the missile comes within the range of the Rtut (it has a 50 hectares of coverage), the jammer will fry its fuse and the missile will blow up in mid air.
