2013 Naval Show - St. Petersburg

Some very interesting displays were right under our noses at the exhibition, but some of us may have not noticed.

Here is a scale model of a modified Project 11541 (Korsar).







The above pictures show us a modern design with stealthy features and modern armament/equipment.
Note that third pr. 11541 (Taman) is launched uncompleted at Kaliningrad. It just needs a customer.Hello Russian Navy or Indian Navy, wouldn't you prefer this over the Pr. 11356 (Grigorovich or Talwar)? Anybody listening?

An even more advanced version with AESA radars and DUET guns was shown in a poster.



Would love to see the Taman completed as well as extra units.

Patrol (Coast Guard) corvette SARSAR with new 57mm gun, Gibka, Paket and UAV.

Replacement for Pr 20380 (Steregushy) ???






Or maybe you would prefer a Catamaran type?

I remember not too long ago, there was talks about such a design being procured as Steregushy class was too big and expensive to replace all the Grisha type corvettes.

Grad... same as land based version... surface to surface artillery rocket.

This is likely a Caspian Sea boat/River boat.

It is not a river boat. It is the Volgodonsk patrol boat (Buyan class).
The rocket launcher is indeed BM-21 Grad artillery rocket.

Yep, thats the one... it is designed for shallow water operation in rivers and in the northern areas of the caspian sea... it is a corvette or patrol ship.
