What the hell Egypt is going to do ?

Is there confirmation of such a deal, especially for S-300V and MiG-29M/M2, particularly considering the recent talks for buying 24 Rafale and FREMM frigates from France? We did saw desert cammo S-300V vehicles in Russia under construction last year. The Tor-M2 and Buk-M2 have indeed been delivered, any timeline for the other systems mentioned if deals are confirmed (SAMs, Mil attack helos, MiG or perhaps even Su fighters, AshMs)?

Needless to say i hope Egypt will induct all these state of the art systems (and more), the jump in it's military capability will be tremendous imo.

Interfax and TASS confirmed the hardwares , some of them had already shown on military parade (tor-m2, buk-m2) .
Mig-29 will take the place of mig-21 (yes we still operate it )
Negotiations over Fremm and Rafale is still going on , may be they want Rafale to be the head of Egypt airforce (no more f-16 deals for near future).

Looks like the talks have ended, according to the latest news here in egypt the French deal has been recently confirmed by the French president to be the first Rafale export contract to be signed (24 jets + 1 Fremm)

From what I've read the Mig29s are to replace the Mig21s as mr. Ahmed stated and going to be mainly used in air defence while the Rafale going to be more of a striker (attacking/bombing roles).

Could someone kindly translate this to English re. latest Russian deal with Egypt .

Would be fantastic if there are indeed firm contracts for all those systems, but remember the MiG CEO basically said there is no contract (for MiG-29M/M2) as of now. As for the Su-30K, isn't Angola supposed to receive 12 this year? Maybe they mixed up the countries in the article. We have to wait and see.

Sorry no images as of yet Mach8, but it's known that some of the system has been delivered but without any solid proof so far.

Interfax also states that the export version of the S-300V4 is Antey-2500 but it would not make any difference even if it did not. Price is the same for Egypt and Venezuela. It would make difference only if some CSTO country where to buy it. Other than that different additional subsystems like more command posts, radar systems ECM, passive or active radar sets as well as additional missiles, training etc could make the difference in price.
