Are there any pictures of modern Russian troops firing svir ATGMs from their 125mm towed AT guns?

What 125mm towed guns?
They are none in service, save maybe a few Spruts.

It does not operate with either.

Actually there is a picture of both missiles on Ka-52 prototype for advertisment and they were designed to be able to use both missiles.

Re: Russian Military Photos and Videos #1
Since then we havnt seen either on the bird.
I don't think it is integrated, nor planned for anytime soon.

Both Ka-50 and Ka-52 were designed to have fully Air capability and were designed to be able to use especially R-73s which can be seen on the first prototype which hadn't a radar but to target the IR-seeker of the R-73 on air targets with use of IRST under the gunners cockpit.
The IRST on Ka-52 prototype to compensate the lack of radar on the first version.
Later when they find solution for mounting of radar and GOES it was removed, since R-73's can be now targeted via radar.

Re: Russian Military Photos and Videos #1
R-73 requires neither IRST nor Radar for targeting.
On the Mig-29 and Su-27 the helmet mounted sight was sufficient for aiming and using the R-73 seeker.
Similarly the A-10 needs neither a radar or IRST to aim Sidewinder missiles and the late model Su-25 needs neither to aim the R-73.
In the case of the A-10 there is a circle in the HUD that indicates to the pilot the seeker lock on area of the missile he has selected... he just manouvers his whole aircraft to put the enemy aircraft inside that circle and presses a button to activate the seeker... he will get a tone when the missile has a lock and is then free to fire. In a Mig-29 the pilot flips his aiming monocle down to put a crosshair in front of his eye and turns his head to put the crosshair on the target and presses the button. When the missile gets a lock (which is ususally very fast as the seeker is looking directly at the target so there is no scanning period as such) the cursor starts blinking and the pilot knows he is ready to fire.

The Ka-52's IRST and Radar wasn't meant for no reason, they were isntalled for several reasons and one of them is to have the longer arm.
It is no news that a human won't see with his bare eyes for the maximal range of the R-73 missile, that means in a case when no Ka-52 would have IRST or radar he would be completley blind untill 2km range where he can see his target and obviously the opponent can do the same. So, to avoid that risk they have possibility used of IRST (on first prototype) and later radar to be able to use this for extending ranges to lock on R-73's seeker on their target to stay outside of the threat as far as possible and still able to oppose a threat to the enemy aircraft. But you're right the R-73 don't need IRST or Radar but still is capable to interact with the option to aim a target via IRST/Radar.
This is why the Ka-52 has the most capable air-to-air engagement capabilities.

Re: Russian Military Photos and Videos #1
Keeping eye on things
Have been thinking about taking Saurons eye from the LOTR movie trillogy and putting on those optical sensors... just for a laugh...
Photoshop alert.
The Ka-52's IRST and Radar wasn't meant for no reason, they were isntalled for several reasons and one of them is to have the longer arm.
The Ka-52 is not fitted with an IRST. It has thermal cameras and ground search radar in MMW frequencies, but it does not have the rotor mounted CM wave air to air radar that was planned.
Even the most basic fighter bomber will have a huge advantage in air to air combat with any helo plans for them to be air to air capable as a primary role were only misinformation and speculation in the west to explain the single seat Ka-50.
But you're right the R-73 don't need IRST or Radar but still is capable to interact with the option to aim a target via IRST/Radar.
At high altitude with a high speed closing target like an SR-71 with friction heated front the R-73 could be launched at distances of 30-40km with a good chance of a kill... against normal aircraft however a high altitude high speed launch would be taken at 25km at most... fired at low altitude and helicopter speeds the R-73 is probably a 8-12km range weapon at the very best. Enemy fighters like F-15 should be visible to 10-15km... the A-10 is a large aircraft too and especially if it is launching weapons it will be rather straight forward to spot as well.
The Ka-52 is a scout helo so if its target was a bridge and there was a threat of ground defences and enemy air power then a load of two Kh-25ML and two R-73s might make some sense... especially in mountains where conventional aircraft had failed due to the nature of the landscape.
The Kh-25ML would allow standoff attacks outside enemy ground fire range and the R-73s could protect against enemy aircraft activity.
The thing is that the new Ka-52s have three weapon pylons with the outer pylon obviously optimised for the Igla-S so clearly plans for R-73 have been shelved... 4-8 Igla-S missiles make rather more sense than two R-73s IMHO.
This is why the Ka-52 has the most capable air-to-air engagement capabilities.
Until it gets its air to air radar (mounted above the rotor head) its air to air performance will be limited... its self defence capacity will be very good with Vitebisk-M... but it is not fighter plane.
Any helicopter is like firing ballistic weapons from the bottom of a deep hole even previous generation fighters have better radar and missiles and can easily deal with helos without getting close enough to be in danger.
