Yeah, good luck with that. These people are seriously retarded.
I'm sure we'll never see these democracy firsters on BBC or CNN though.

Yeah, but it'll be censored in western media and no one will ever hear about it.
That's how western media works.

You think i don't know that?
The problem is US can only bark they can't do shit, they can't sanction Russia not through UN not on their own behalve, because they will get sanctions from Russia which will effect only US economy not russias, US relies on high quality metals from russia and China will buy everything up if there is a supply, the chinese think in long term, money has absolutley ZERO value which the Euro and Dollar proof each day, by printing them from nowhere without counter value in the real life world.
Let the US bark they are just a white elephant they can't do shit, that's why they use terrorists to do their job.

The problem is the US practices a homegrown version ( albeit flawed) of Protestantism .
Ergo , those of us Catholics , Blacks , Natives , Asians , the whole nine who are not part of this are seen as deviants .
This perception of Self-righteousness is not just confined to the borders of Continental United States but extends beyond .
The idea that non Protestant states can manage their own affairs properly is not something that mainstream US is willing to buy.
From Korea to Vietnam , Iraq to Libya and Syria to Ukraine it is this perception that compels the US to act in an exclusive manner.
And if this ain't enough , the US Defense Budget is shrinking and is taking down with it the ability to project force against a major adversary in the near future .
http://www.defenceiq.com/air-land-and-sea-defence-services/articles/squeezed-us-defence-budget-likely-to-affect-milita/
Suffice to say that the US will therefore sponsor more asymmetrical conflicts like Ukraine in the near future to keep the likes of Russia & China busy .

Yeah, now that their 'Daddy' (which pushed them into this in the first place) isn't really protecting them:
Now they suddenly found enough pragmatism inside them.
Stupid people never learn.
ITAR-TASS wrote:Ukraine’s acting foreign minister calls on Russia to begin dialogue on Crimea
ITAR-TASS wrote:
KIEV, March 01, 16:12 /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine and Russia should have a real dialogue on the situation in Crimea, not to exchange notes, acting foreign minister, Andrei Deshchitsa, said on Saturday.
“We have been sending to Russia two-three notes a day. Unfortunately, now we have this ‘diplomacy of notes’, and I only hope it does not develop into a ‘war of notes’. We want to have a dialogue with Russia, let us stop sending papers to each other. I speak Russia, I can communicate,” he said.
The acting foreign minister said the Ukrainian foreign relations authority planned to publish a statement, which would disclaim the information about buildings seized in Crimea.
Now they suddenly found enough pragmatism inside them.

No offense, I hope so too. And I hope that they go bankrupt in the process.Regular wrote:I hope some NATO members will think more about military spending as now it's terribly small.
But than again, I'm not a big fan of soldiers of one country (-insert name of any- NATO member) fighting and dying for their current Master (America).
I'd rather have them defend THEIR OWN countries, and not America's global dominance.
But that's just me.

If Europe will cut the fat of their socialistic politics then I assume we could find money for militarization. And I think it would lead to short term economic boost. Most of the NATO fighting is done by americans anyway, most of Europeans have awesome ROE in these hotspots and I don't want to sound harsh but we rather let our more determined colleagues to die. I hope it wouldn't be the same in real war.macedonian wrote:No offense, I hope so too. Re: The Situation in the Ukraine. #1
What the hell did the EU and US think would happen when they start supporting violent revolutionaries in the Ukraine, and then recognize the legitimacy of a parliament that was brought in through an an armed putsch, depriving millions of people in Eastern Ukraine of their voices?
Russia did absolutely the right thing by not recognizing this band of criminals sitting in the Rada today, and all the decisions that they have undertaken, etc...
IMO they did the wrong thing by introducing Russian forces. It was too early for that - if the new Rada tried to carry out some sort of armed assault on the Crimean administration, try and bring the eastern regions in line through force, etc... then it would have been warranted. So far it had only used repression and threats; but nothing was preventing the eastern regions populations from rising up and declaring Kiev illegitimate anyway.

Given the fact that Khrushchev transferred Crimea from Russia to Ukraine arbitrarily , Russia should take it back arbitrarily .

Wrong.
Americans are fighting now that most of the wars are farther away from Europe, but as soon as NATO starts pulling sh*t in Europe, it's the Europeans that get to carry most of the weight. No need to take my word for it - see how many American policemen are in Kosovo and Bosnia vis-a-vis European ones.

Surprisingly few and conservative accusations against Russia the last couple of days.
One more confirmation that American dominated (occupied) civilization respects and accepts only power.

Kosovo and Bosnia is walk in the park. But I do really hope the spirit will be different if NATO will be attacked. It would be a shame for them not to bolster their capabilities and push for more ABM.macedonian wrote:Regular wrote:If Europe will cut the fat of their socialistic politics then I assume we could find money for militarization. oh yes Regular, you are one step away from a NATO vet chewing out your ass on a number of your comments. you clearly do not know anything of NATO operations or internal stucture. or do not have any inside knowledge of NATO mentality or inside opinion of Nato combat forces.
and do not even get me started on your "excited" comment on being drawn up supposedly for armed conflict. just the fact that i should spell out the reality of war for you explains enough on itself.
you do not represent any of NATO, you sound like one of those weekend-warrior kids that played one too many Call of Duty games and act like they are the NATO party on here. too bad for you, i am around here.
"let our more determined colleagues to die"?. so what are you?. the sock-counting magazine asshole way away in safety from enemy lines?. just your sentence alone is gut-wrenching to any front-line soldier no matter his origin, background or nationality.
whatever mistakes, fuckups and idiots the U.S does or send to fight their wars. its still troops/coffins going back home dead to fammilies you jackass. if you got such of a strong opinion about it maybe you want to contribute to the education and lecture to U.S troops and students of what they are getting into instead of throwing them to the meat grinder?. its easy to let someone else do the dying and combat for you doesnt it?.
with all respects to the mods on this forum. but i know when i smell a rat. and this is one of those cases.
