Love the rear gondola photos...
The new model hinds with that large thermal imager on the nose needed 50kgs of ballast to be fitted to the rear of the tail to balance it... I always thought an unmanned turret in the rear with ammo in the main cabin with a remote station inside the cabin would have been a better solution.
The normal crew of a Hind is three BTW, with a pilot, weapons officer and an engineer in the rear... the latter could operate the rear gun when leaving an area to make firing at the hinds rear less appealing to those on the ground... (firing at a helos rear is generally very appealing as it can't normally fire back and is often not well armoured in its rear... lots of vulnerable bits like the tail rotor to hit... etc etc.
