Seems Kurds got an eye on Qamişlo airport now. If SAA/NDF lose that airport it could be very bad news for Deir Ezzor too. As this airport is major hub. And it seems defences are quite weak.
They have few M46s and 1 D30 piece for artillery support only.

Honestly, I hope Syria attacks the YPG as well.

YPG takes the Airport, they are going to have to vacate the premises ASAP after stern discussions will happen in Moscow with their own YPG bosses. The issue here is simple. Kurds have the area in hand, because the SAA thought it had a working arrangement with them. Russians also thought they could deal frankly with the YPG. Unfortunately the problem with Syria right now is that it's up for grabs. And the Kurds have probably some US backing. Probably that the local guys want it to happen; better clear the Arabs now, than having to mingle later (see Mosul issue in Iraq).
The only issue is this, once the Kurds get their Rojava, the jury is still out there. And while they could play the watch and use US support the time being, they also know that basically Turkey and Russia can reverse their feud on the Kurds, really fast, especially since IRAN would also see no issue. The Kurds were strong because they were the little darlings of all side (except the Turks). Now if they go and fuck around with two thirds of the Equation in Northern Syria...well, you see what can happen. Afterall, negotiating with Erdogan will always be easier than with three different commands from the Kurdish side. So really, the Kurds should pull back the local hotheads if they don't want to leave the airport humiliated by a "diplomatic withdrawal".

i agree with you, but Kurds are also forgetting that its the Russians who are pushing for Kurdish representation in the talks and allowed then to open a office in Moscow, the Kurds are playing a dangerous game, their going on as if ISIS and rebels are gone from Syria, the war in Syria is far from over, and they have to remember the SAA have had more battle experience than the Kurds especially the SAA outside of Qamishli and Al-Hasakah so this wouldnt be an easy ride for the Kurds and considering they have the SAA surrounded and out numbered in this area of Syria it really isn't that much of challenge. But i hope they come to an agreement soon.

I think someone will be cracking the whip hard in very near future and Kurds should memorize safe-word if they know what is good for them.

The remaining opposition delegation says Assad has no future and must go. Looks like Putin will have the final word on Assad's fate.

Syrian helicopters are carrying out patrol missions over Al-Qamishli. 105th brigade of Syrian Republican Guard and YPG units with heavy weapons have entered the city.
There are some reports about a few Russian and Iranian authorities that arrived in Al-Qamishli city today and forced opposing sides to talks. Hopefully it will succeed.

Tiger Forces liberate new sites in northern Palmyra
https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/tiger-forces-liberate-new-sites-northern-palmyra/
The Syrian Arab Army’s “Tiger Forces” – backed by the National Defense Forces (NDF) – continued their advance in the northern countryside of Palmyra (Tadmur) on Friday, liberating new sites from the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) near Brigade 550 Base. Leading the charge on Friday was the Tiger Forces’ “Al-Hamza Brigade”; they would push further north along the Murbet Al-Hassan Mountains, where ISIS has been launching artillery strikes against the advancing forces from the Syrian Arab Army. According to an Al-Masdar field correspondent, the Al-Hamza Brigade and their allies liberated Storage Base 410 and the Special Forces Storage Base that is located just north of the Mazar Mountains and northeast of the recently seized Brigade 550 Base. The Syrian Armed Forces are now pushing west towards the Murbet Al-Hassan Mountains in order to kick out the remaining ISIS fighters lurking around this strategic site in east Homs.

A France 24 documentary in English about the Kurds advance on Shadadi.
Anyone confirm the Special Forces (starts at 9.30) as US? According to Twitter sources, gear they have includes L3 Tactical ROVER-p, LA-16u/PEQ HLM (Handheld Laser Marker) and Milkor M32A1. Also cut away helmets and a variety of clothing.
The video confirms that it was the FGM-148 Javelin ATGM that destroyed IS Suicide VBIED near Shaddid last Feb. Air support from A-10s is also included, no gun use, just bombs.
As someone commented, it is not surprising that they advanced so quickly with this level of support.

The family of the late journalist Steven Sotloff, who was beheaded by the Islamic State group in 2014, is suing the Syrian government for its alleged support of the militant group.
Sotloff’s family filed the lawsuit Monday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. They accused Syria of providing “material support”—including money and military air support—to the Islamic State, referred to as Daesh in the complaint.

He got beheaded by the very people that he was peddling propaganda for, but his stupid family thinks Syria is at liberty to pay them a copious sum...

What a dumbshit. These "revolutionary" propagandists played a key roll in the destruction of Syria. If there was any justice, this guy's family should have all their money and assets seized and sent to Syria to rebuild.
