Read the article, watch the videos. These are mercenaries, paid to instruct and fight. Yeah that needs serious money for the standards of the slowly defeated insurgency in Syria.
@Kotemore I never claimed these are expensive mercenaries by western or ex-WP standards, but this comes to prove how the so-called ''revolution'' is a bunch of paid fighters doing the hard bits and probably an endless stream of beardie, zombie body-bags following them.

jihadists rebels surrender almost all of east Aleppo.
The Jihadist rebels of Fatah Halab have surrendered almost all of the east Aleppo pocket after an agreement was put in place between the Russian and Turkish governments tonight.
According to a military officer in east Aleppo, the Fatah Halab militants will surrender at least 4 districts to the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), leaving nearly 85 percent of the east Aleppo pocket under government control.
The districts that are being surrendered to the Syrian government per the Russo-Turk agreement are the following: Al-Farafrah, Karm Al-Jabal, Bab Hadid and Afion.
The remaining districts that were not surrendered to the Syrian government will remain under Jaysh Al-Fatah control; these jihadists are primarily embedded in Sheikh Sa'eed, Sheikh Lifti, and Marjah.
https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/jihadists-rebels-surrender-almost-east-aleppo/
How is that good news? There needs to be no negotiations. Simply roll over these filthy goat-fuckers and exterminate every last single one of these child-murderers.
Does this "agreement" envision a permanent jihadi bastion in South Aleppo? There would be zero chance that the Syrian government are going to accept such a terrorist enclave as it will represent a threat behind the front line and require a disproportionate force to prevent Jihadi breakout and mischief making.
The SAA needs to liquidate these scumbags ASAP for two good reasons:
(1) Send a clear message to the Uh'Murikkkanz, Saudis, Qataris, Turds, Eurotrash et al... We will WIN this war, and we don't care a f### what you think.
(2) Free up government forces for a push on other Jihadi enclaves. Expand the Aleppo zone of control westwards to provide a larger buffer against potential shithead reinforcements from Idlib. Reinforcements to Hama and push back the jihadist salient that was threatening the city. I'd like to see the pocket between Hama and Homs rolled up, but it seems fairly static so maybe its not so infested with foreign jihadists that the domestic beardies won't see sense and negotiate a truce while they can.

you talk as if war is easy, this negotiation tactic works the aim for the SAA is to reduce the number of fronts it has due to limited manpower. I think on your point (1) i think they already know that they ain't going t win this war. And as for point (2) they are in the process of removing the enclaves around Damascus to free up manpower. The problem with what is left in Aleppo city is urban warfare isn't easy and even basic weapons and limited manpower can be effective, if you have ever done FIBUA training anything similar then you will know, one thing we are not hearing (apart from the death of commander of Iraqi paramilitary) is how many SAA soldiers are being killed during these offensives in eastern Aleppo. The 3 main objectives for the SAA right now is 1) limit their loses, 2) fully liberate eastern Aleppo, 3) liberate the various enclaves to free up manpower. And if in order to obtain these objectives they need to negotiate then so be it. It will be easier for SAA and Russian Airforce to attack Ibilib and the plains of western and southern Aleppo than it is to fight in built up areas like cities where booby traps and snipers become a total nightmare, and you also have the civilian element in cities and urban areas, fight them out in the open civilian casualties will be fewer and the terrorists will be easy targets for airforces and artillery. I do agree that these terrorists should be exterminated but there is ways and means to achieve this.
As for the Hama and Homs enclave if think this area will become a focus target once Damascus has been liberated, its not really causing headaches just now. And once Aleppo is fully liberated this will no doubt have an effect of FSA movement including in this area, and once the terrorists start losing bodies in Ibilib they will need fresh ones from elsewhere to build up their numbers again and thats when they start to do negotiations in other areas which works well for the SAA and civilians.
And once Beit Jinn enclave in Southern Damascus, and the Yamouk camp has been liberated the next enclaves will be to west of Damascus in Az Zabadani area, manpower is the biggest issue for the SAA and with increased manpower they can really start the ball rolling in other areas. I wouldn't be surprised in the Hama/Homs enclave and southern Syria front (Daraa) will mostly be won by negotiations. And another think once all the terrorists are all in one area and densely packed this is ideal time to use MLPRS, Tocka, and Iskander as well has Kalibr, and all three bombers

Given the fact that they are getting their asses handed to them royally, editing quality is most likely not high on priority list.

Turks getting a beating again from the air.
Meze airbase on fire... Leith source claim wasn't IAF
And apparently now the rebels have no presence north-east of the Citadel, only south of it.
NEW MAP:
This one is highly symbolic, basically all of what makes Aleppo, Aleppo are in SAA control. Airport, Citadel, Grand Mosque, Souq, Financial district, Universities, all hospitals, main roads incl. 95% of the ring road.

Re: Syrian Civil War: News #10
I said this many times and will continue in hopes the someone in the Russian military
will pass it to the Russian government. Russia needs with urgency Attack drones. When you see
such beardies in the open freely launching rockets , people that could very easily be taken with a silent attack drone. then you see Russia strategy in Syria is close to mediocre at best.
Russia is not taking advantage of all the technology that exist in the world to get rid
and fast of this rebels. Combat planes are too noisy and warn rebels when to hide..
but silent attack drones flying above Eastern Aleppo will make a living hell of all NATO
backed rebels. IT will not allow them to go in the open and fight with any artillery or tank. and keep them inside buildings to hide from aerial attacks a bit.
If Putin had any brains , he will have attack drones always flying over eastern aleppo , to
bomb any jihadist that show up in the open. But it seems Russia is happy with losing so many soldiers when they have so clear advantage of air superiority to rain bombs on terrorist.
Russia even allows Terrorist to have satellite communications.. which is retarded . So that they can get logistic from NATO of new offensives. in short Russia performance is close to mediocre
in Syria ,in comparison with the things they could do but don't do it. Russia is losing too much staff for allowing Terrorist to freely use artillery in aleppo. when they could keep their heads hidden all the time if had attack drones in enough numbers.

Looks like CO was micro managing armored company involved in Aleppo push. At that point it would have been better to send in Russian tankers. Anyway this shows that the few open hints of actual Russian special forces involved at the frontline were true.

I'm not sure if going full Soleimani is constructive here. I can understand if ranks up to Major do these things, as a stretch.
But a Colonel is way too high in the CoC to take such risks in the field.

I think he's clearly doing his job as part of the advisory team, as Co of the 5th tank Guard brigade. The problem stems from the fact cockroaches can still sneak indirect fire at this point.
