If the same idea is in the minds of Russian diplomacy, then I would say a nice Goodbye to Russian strategy of the region.
Why would Azerbaijan be with Russia and Iran when;
-Karabakh is under control of Russian supported Armenians
-Iran is the only country which frees Armenia from being landlocked by Turkey and Azerbaijan in terms of supplies.
-Azerbaijanis are not secterian Shiite.
-Their Shiite belief is not the same with of Iranians.
-They speak the same language with Turks, because they are also Turkic.
-They have a project called TANAP with Turkey which is only one of great projects in the energy field.
-Turkey being a military technology supplier for Azerbaijan.
-Turkey and Azerbaijan have a saying "One nation, two states"
Even Iran does not see Azerbaijan as a sovereign entity and even claim Azerbaijan as a part of Iran,at least by heart.
Turkey is not a sectarian country, neither is Azerbaijan....

You kidding right? This is brilliant idea. KSA pays to get themselves screwed. Win win.

Turkish forces look like shit on that. Looks like no tunnel was dug or nothing, just very sound tactical movement by ISIS.

Well given how they lost the tanks is the first place...
But frankly, ATGM's are a terrible thing.

Seen effect of Fagots and Malytkas on tank targets and liquified metal still dropping few minutes after being hit.. so yea. My dad repaired recovered tanks during wars here, lets say some of stories would make mortician puke.

Oh but while I've not seen them in the flesh, I just watched about 30 minutes of Hizb ATGM work in Aleppo. One thing, Russia has been a very naughty Superpower.Among the many Konkurs-M fired Hizb has been using some pretty "cutting edge" stuff, incluing brand New FARA and Aistinyok radars. Those guys operationals are really, really well equipped.
Calm: I'm going to make a map of Isis tactical advance towards Al Bab hospital. These guys have military experience, like honest to God military experience. I'm betting a lot on former Iraqi Army guys trained by the US.
Also what's the deal with the DDR AK's (MPiKM from NVA stocks now dumped to jihadis...Honecker would be proud).

You are Turk obviously. No-one else would say what you said. This is only Turkish imperialism and propaganda, that even affects to Syria, because the Turkic population of Syria are and speak Azerbaijani, and not Turk.

Clear Soviet propaganda...
I have couple Azerbaijani friends.I talk to them with Turkish, and they speak Azerbaijani, and clearly Azerbaijani is nothing but very similar to eastern accent of Turkish.
All of these claims you made is only on papers, and even the name "Azeri" is an invention of Soviets.Only the region was known to be Azerbaijan, which is originally a Persian word.
Ok, let us say that they have a seperate nation. This still does not change the fact that they are Turkic.Yes,this is a fact and this fact will change a lot.
If you still dont believe just check out some youtube videos and see what Azerbaijani people think about Turkey.
Even though Azerbaijan is a shiite majority country, Iran hates Azerbaijan and supports Armenia even if Armenians are Christian and Azerbaijan is Shiite Muslim.
Before teaching me Turkic nations, learn what Oghuz tribes means and what is the current distribution of these.

You have not provided a single shred of counter-evidence other than the vapid bleating about "Soviet propaganda". The fact that
Azeris are Shi'ite is a show stopper for any claims by Turkey on this country. And if you want to roll the clock back 2000 years then
everything is meaningless since current nations and ethnic groups did not exist back then. So current nationalist claims based on
mythical past history are utter BS.
