There is an apparent 'chemical attack' in Syria's Idlib province. The media has ran with the narrative that Assad did it or russian planes which has been repeatedly targeting terrorist in the provience are responsible. Condemnation has already come from the usual suspects, the likes of macaine.

We must look at this in the context just days after the official mouthpieces of US foreign policy, UN ambassador Haley and Sec. Of state Tillerson failed to declare the need for Assad to go hinting a modus vivendi possibility.

US foreign policy strategy as of now requires building positions of strength. Syria is not a redline for this administration though it is a victim part of the regional struggle between sunni regimes and Iran. The US redline is Iran.
What we have seen recently based on tillerson trips is this attempt to create a position of strength and US mideast strategy:
1. Consult with allies before enemies: tillerson recently met with turkish and sunni monarchies. Iirc krushner is also in saudi.
2. Make victory hard for the allied proassad forces- the uS is trying to strengthen its bargaining position and sour the gains made by saa. They will use all means to make gains painful in additionally turkey has said they are planning a new operation.what area in the syrian battle space will be targeted? Idlib?

There is zero reason why a gas attack would produce such injuries. The terrorist scum were yapping about staging an event

If Russia had attack drones like NATO countries have ,it will not be 3 steps
forward and one back. but 3 steps forward ,hold terror offensive and keep moving ,once they retreat again. It is really concerning to observe how Russia allows terrorist to freely run in open terrain without being bombed. or at times not even running for in meetings in the hundreds without being bombed. The war in Syria have shown without a doubt  Russia was not well prepared at all, to fight ,NATO backed ,armed and trained terror groups. You cannot effectively use Airforce against soft targets and terror groups by flying so high in altitude. You need a small attack drone flying low to do the job . combined with Airforce to bomb a larzone to keep terrorist advance slow ,while drones doing ping point attacks on soft targets and terror suicide car bombers. Russia lack of drones is forcing them to waste money in incredibly expensive cruise missiles ,that cost more than half a million dollar each ,that is also wrong. half a million dollars to kill 5 terrorist or 10 is retarded. Just get enough cheap attack drone with cheap thermobaric missiles and it will wipe any soft target in the ground.

Even CHina will have done a better job in Syria ,than Russia in ground fighting at least,they at least have microwave weapons ,that will be priceless to force terrorist Out of any building and go in the run. Is simply Sad how Russia bad tactics ,makes things way more difficult than it should be ,and costing so much delay of the defeat of the terrorist but also Russian soldiers lives. If terrorist are allowed to freely move in open terrain ,and terrorist even allowed to use drones to have better tactical view. then it shows serious problems with Russia military tactics there.

NATO pigs are making a Huge fuss over the Nato orchestrated chemical attack in Idlib. Hope their desperation move results to nothing but more setbacks for the Terrorists  and their sponsors

Hopefully Russia does not back down and don't give an inch to NATO assholes. If Russia was smart, they start their own action in Idlib.

You are 80% percent wrong and 20% right, Russia has done a good job in Syria and you are right on the drones, Russia really does need attack drones. But those take investment and money and Russia is now developing all that.

If they needed attack drones, Russia could have just asked china.

After the contact between the Syrian gouvernment territory and the Kurd controled territories of the east, this war in Iraq and Syria has two separate fronts:

- In the North, the Turk front vs the Turkish controled forces.
- In the South, the contact line with Israel, and the Saudi controlled forces.

The war likely will be long.

Something very interesting in German Media happened! Hours after chemical disaster it was clear in every media it was Assad. Now it is not so clear and media writes "it is not clear what happened" Maybe the controlled mass media have fear that if they cry too loud for war, the war could become very real and hot!

This was a false flag attack, it maybe coordinated with the St. Petersburg bombing(to distract Russia). Russia cannot back down now and they should step up patrols and bombing of terrorists in Idlib. The SAA and Allies need to also step up here, hopefully Iran increases their support as well.

If the US tries something funny, Russia need to respond right away. A good way to respond is by going to the Iraqi government and getting the support to bomb the terrorists in Iraq, this will become a major headache for the US, Don't back down.
