Intercepting them is not a problem, they are subsonic. Our guy were doing it with everything from MANPADS to trainer-jets.

^I'm an American, and I'll fully admit my government is the biggest scourge on this world. But remember, so are it's allies (vassals really), especially the so-called "five eyes". They're right there too, supporting whatever horrible shit the US government concocts.

Too much conflicting information..... So apparently Russia was informed ahead of time but they were also present at the air force base, but they were specifically not targeted and majority of missiles just hit the same spot multiple of times.

Still, this illegal move cannot go unnoticed. Russian lives were in danger regardless of warning of not. Russia must respond in kind to US airbase near Raqqa or by jamming Us warships in area.

In real practice , 50 or 100 or even a thousand of cruise missiles will not defeat the syrian army at all , it will only delay their operations. Just remember than since Russia have been in Syria ,they bombed it no less than 50,000 times.
and the war is far from over, and with more accurate bombings that American cruise missiles.


But in the other hand this attacks are aimed at scaring Russia to leave ,
to negotiate Assad departure or something of the like. It remains to be
seen what they will do . whatever it is. .if Russia retreat just a little ,the
americans will go for more and more and more. SO it will put at risk
their entire operation. It will be priceless the response of Russia. what it will be .  If i was putin, i will give an ultimatum to Americans ,that will order the
sinking of their warships if do another attack of Syria. that they have been warned.

This also explain why trump was being cozy with CHina today ,he was seeking to keep them out of Syria and leave Russia alone. interesting times. Trump turned to be a real traitor to the american people who voted for him.

In my opinion after the St petersburg attacks , Russia will not capitulate in
Syria no matter how many cruise missiles they launch.

If the missiles were really fired this way, then these twitter reporters are not doing Syria any favours. They should hush it
up if it looks like a ploy by Trump to fend off the hyenas around him and not a real attack.

Again you cannot win a war with cruise missiles ,not even close..
Russia on a daily basis how many times they bomb ISIS and Alqaeda positions? about 200-300 per day. this is in more than one year. You need troops on the ground to stop Syrian army and there the american military
will be very vulnerable to be bombed by Russia and Syria. So all this attacks
in real real practice is just testing Russia . to see if they can scare it.

But i don't think RUssia will leave. it will be suicide not only for Putin political carrer ,but will be a green light to to NATO to continue doing more attacks and bomb directly Assad castle.

What we see is rules of engagement. notice the aclaration of US military that no one was killed. If the attack was on Assad castle and many civilians killed
it will have been a totally different story and Russia definitively allow Syrian
government to sink american warships. Public Opinion is really important in incidents like this.
