Of course NATO IFF could be integrated in S-300. We talk here about export version of S-300, which doesn't have Russian IFF system inside. It is open to build in NATO IFF device, which could be delivered from customer. Greece also use Osa-AKM and Tor-M1 and both have NATO IFF inside. Many NATO members modify their MiG-29 fighters with NATO IFF, even with Russian help. Export version always have IFF place open for customer needs. You could bet, that western planes and helicopters sold to Kazakhstan have Russian type of IFF inside to work with Kazakhstan needs.

It can but it requires a level of cooperation you just wont get... it would be like India buying Gripen... hey will find they wont be allowed AMRAAM or Sidewinder or US components/weapons/systems because they didn't give the contract to a US company.
It is American punishing for not buying American in the first place.
Not actually only an American thing... very early in the 1990s lots of countries got real bargains buying up ex Soviet hardware that was no longer needed at bargain basement prices.
What they didn't think through was the fact that these sellers were keeping some aircraft and therefore didn't want to sell their spare parts pool for the aircraft they were keeping or selling to other customers who wanted spare parts included.
When the customers who got the super cheap deals went to get parts they found there were no cheap parts to buy except cheap dodgy parts likely to cost you aircraft, so they went to the planes manufacturers and found parts were expensive and often required a purchase of more aircraft to get a parts and support contract written up... the money saved was not really saved at all.
But Russia will not have access to NATO IFF technology. Therefore, integration & debugging will not be possible.
They don't need to give away any secrets and Russian specialists don't need to rummage through NATO IFF technology. There are air defence systems all round the world that include a range of AD technologies from east and west and no one got their home defence compromised.
the IFF systems just determine.... independently, whether a detected target is friend, hostile, civilian, or neutral and passes that information to the air defence systems... teh S-300 doesn't need to recheck.
You could bet, that western planes and helicopters sold to Kazakhstan have Russian type of IFF inside to work with Kazakhstan needs.
IFF puts detect targets into teams... as with the AEGIS shoot down of the Iranian Airbus, and Korean Airlines 007, and of course the F-15s shooting down those two blackhawks in Iraq thinking they were Hinds and too afraid to get close enough to find out... it is not always right.

Russia's new S-400 air defense systems to be supplied to 12 regiments by 2020
MOSCOW, September 29. /ITAR-TASS/. New S-400 Triumf air defense systems will be supplied to 12 missile regiments of Russia’s Aerospace Defence Forces by 2020, their spokesperson, Colonel Alexei Zolotukhin said on Monday.
Until the end of this year, four S-400 regiments will be protecting Moscow and the Central Industrial District of Russia, he said.
At present, three regiments have S-400 systems and the rest are armed with S-300 systems.
Future plans call for upgrading Moscow’s missile defense to bring air defense and missile defense systems under a single command to repel all possible attacks.
The united command will cover 25 regions and three republics. Radar stations used by air defense units can detect targets as far as 600 kilometers and an altitude of up to 40 kilometers.
Another regiment in the Moscow region will adopt Russia’s newest S-400 air defence systems this autumn.
“The fourth air defense regiment will receive a new set of S-400 systems at the Kapustin Yar training range in September or October, conduct initial live fire training and, after redeployment to the Moscow region, go on combat duty,” Aerospace Defense Forces Commander, Major General Andrei Demin said earlier this month.
Three regiments in the Moscow region have already been armed with the S-400 systems. The first S-400 battalion went on combat duty in Elektrostal, Moscow region, in the summer of 2007 and was joined by another one in 2009.
The second regiment armed with S-400 systems went on combat duty in 2011, followed by the third one in 2014.

Russia will get 56 batteries which you can distribute in 28 or 7 regiments as 54K6 command post can support from 2 to 8 92N6 shooting radar systems.
In its current form one S-400 regiment is being delivered to PVO with 2 S-400 batteries in combo with Nebo-M and Pancir-S1 but once delivered two more S-300Favorit batteries are
added to the regiment. There are also some speculation going on that number of 92N6 radars might be even higher than number of S-400 batteries

This is strange. Russian MoD already have 7 regiments of S-400 and I think this year they will receive 3 more regiments, what will bring 10 in total. I doubt they will receive 2 more regiments in next 5 years. It could be, that PVO VVS and VKO are divided, so it could mean, that those 12 regiments will be for VKO only without PVO VVS regiments. As I know, now are part of VKO only regiments around Moscow.

The S-400 deployment in a unit at Krasnodar (or Novorossisk) is not new. It already happened back in spring 2013.
It is the 1537th AD RGT with firing complexes here 44.922545° 37.419733° and here 44.664209° 37.782459° equipped with 5P85S2 launcher.
This is the only S-300/400 unit in this region. The corresponding 91N6 is here 44.630720° 37.923671° (compare fotos of 1.5.12 (64N6 with longer truck cabin) and 27.4.13 (91N6 with shorter truck cabin)).

"Almaz-Antey" early will give the Defense Ministry regimental kit C-400
and just as same as in Iskander case S-400 are now being delivered in full format not just pieces which would than be assembled together aftervards meaning production is up and running
ahead of schedule.

by the end of 2013 Almaz-Antey chief said that during 2014 year 2 more S-400 regiments will be delivered and than few days later Putin
said that during 2014, 3 S-400 regiments will be delivered. Given situation where up to now each S-400 regiment had
2 S-400 batteries this 3 battery regiment represents sort of compromise between Almaz-Antey chief and Vladimir Putin
