One thing though is the Turks are willing to take a beating and continue. They do have quite the number of heavy equipment headed to Syria, so it is still a threat. But I imagine the SAA have no problem letting the two gangs duke it out.

They do? Didn't seem like it in the small postion of Aleppo that they occupy. Initially they were boasting how they'd go for Raqqa, then SAA came in and stopped them on their tracks. I can't imagine they're willing to loose all their Leopard 2s and Sabras in the process. Which will happen should they choose to deploy for over a year. SAA can sit this one out and then come in and kick the Turks out easily. No Arab or Kurd wants Turkish rule, bar some jihadis who are already on the loosing side.

If Turkey plays it smart and pulls out swiftly (say after 6-12 months), it'll be a lifesaver for Damascus. Should they choose to stay, it will be a problem for Assad.

They should give the Kornets to Kurds. Let them burn the Turks if they attack. After a year or so play a peacekeeping force, suggest a ceasefire.

Being merchant marine, this is a Syrian Express ship travelling north today that we don't see recorded very often yet it is vital. The chartered Ro-Ro Alexander Tkachenko.

Being a Ro-Ro with two decks it is very flexible with a hidden from view lower deck topped by a vehicle or craned on container top deck. With a capacity of ever 3000 tons she is worth 6 Ropucha or similar per trip. That's a lot of gear.

but but but.. i though kurds were So STROOOOOONNGGGGG  !! lol1
People were praising them like a "modern army"  and ridiculizing Syrian army
loses at same time.. not knowing or refusing to believe, that Syria army ,Russia,Hezbolah and IRAN were the only forces fighting ISIS in Syria and in IRAQ. and what the US coalition and SDF
allies are doing is mostly a circus.. a show.. they allow ISIS to move freely through its territory to any side they want.. by Americans.. and Kurds for sure are under pressure to cooperate with US and allies criminal war against the Syrian government.

I even told here months ago.. how the Spokewomen of Russia Government ,Maria..
told in Russian media , that American pilots ,were communicating with ISIS ,that they had intercepted those communications, telling them exactly where they are going to Bomb ,before they do it.. so that ISIS Can escape. .
But the idiots and morons in this Forum will continue ignoring that.  Putin Himself exposed
the Kurds ,in G20 on turkey ,when was with Obama in a meeting , by showing a map of where ISIS oil trucks travel to Turkey , to sell its oil to ERdogan energy companies that his son control.  ISIS trucks with stolen oil from Deizur ,had a couple or more routes and Russia exposed all of them.. One from IRAQ kurdish zone. and another from Kurds syrian zone .
and another from northern Aleppo ,which now is under control of Turkey army.

So to really CUt ISIS from Oil , all those oil fields in Deizur needs to be taken by Syrian army.
because Kurds under pressure by Americans are cooperating with ISIS oil business. Kurds are opportunist and will do anything their Americans friends will tell them ,if want their Independence and kurdistan. US also pressure Kurds to create the SDF.. that is Kurds + terrorist FSA alliance . to try hide their support to ISIS by "only" supporting the kurds and a "Few more arabs" they call SDF.

So people need to be skeptic of "any claims" of defeat of ISIS" by Americans or Kurds or SDF..
Kurds don't like ISIS or Alnusra ,at times they attack Kurds ,when they under influence of ERdogan. so they don't trust in them..but under pressure of Americans ,they can cooperate with them.. to make it more difficult for Syria army to liberate their lands.  Russia MOD even exposed Pentagon of evacuating ISIS commanders.. just last weeks.. so the collusion of US military with ISIS is a fact. and Israel too.. and Erdogan looks to be distancing from them ..
but not from all terrorist , like FSA that still is supported by Turkey.

Trump can pressure the Pentagon to end cooperation with ISIS.. But when you have congress and CIA and shadow government telling them to do something different , then is difficult to
make US military to completely abandon its collusion with ISIS.  Is amazing still that Trump managed to downscale -a little bit- the hostilities between Pentagon and Russia military in Syria and even more allow Syria to take control of its border with IRAQ..Trump advisors McGregor wanted Trump to authorize 10k soldiers to Syria to seal the border of IRAQ to Syria and continue bleeding Syria by using US army to streghten ISIS . that was not supposed to happen.. Allowing IRAN a corridor to Syria with its military. So if Israel invades Syria in a full scale war it will need to face more than Syrian army ,but also Hezbolah ,IRAN and many thousands of IRAQ shia volunteers too and with Russia indirect help. through weapons and Logistics. So this is probably the reason ,why they want Trump out of the presidency.. regardless of the tough speaking of Trump and its missile attack on Syria.. he wants to get out of Syria as soon as possible and of ukraine too. but the Military and Congress is pushing in the other direction.

the next video explain something about US government shadow government..
i don't think is 100% correct in all . but looks like a good starting place to understand
Trump difficulty , what he needs to deal. when doing foreign policy.

This is the only positive thing about American mainstream media.. specially Washington Post,
and CNN.. They receive directly from the Pentagon the subject of their news.. the shape
Public opinion narrative.. If they Say something like "anomymous sources" in pentagon are
saying many generals are unhappy with Russia striking their positions and demanding retaliation.
Then is a warning directly of Pentagon to Russia that will be hit if do something like that again.
But their latest declaration seems too good to be true.. they seem to speak about deescalation
and better coordination which is surprising. So you can learn a lot of what the US Shadow Government is thinking or favor by just reading what the washingtong post main headlines are
    pushing.

Washington Post ,CNN and MSBC will tell most times ,exactly what the Pentagon is thinking and
    which direction they moving.

I'm sure VKS triple checked that location before delivering the goods. Shooting message recipient would be counterproductive to say nothing of political kerfuffle that would ensue.

And Russia is still denying everything as expected. Playing dumb is definitely part of maskirovka.

SDF & Co need to take a ruler, draw horizontal line trough strike location and stay north of it. FSA did the same and are still among users of oxygen as a result.

^^ Not a very encouraging look for an Army, but still it may help Syria in keeping SDF busy.
Hell, SAA can come out to play and take care of such turkish forces easily, should they choose to invade and occupy Afrin, when they're done with IS and SDF.

At this stage SAA's kit is simply superior to what the Turkish Army is fielding in the region (Leo2A4s and M-60 MBTs and M113/AIFV derivatives). Nothing a few well-placed Kornet and Metis can't eliminate (hell even standard RPGs). IS had a field day against them.

    LoL.

Where in history did a Turkish army lose against arabs? The SAA could'nt even beat those goathfucking weirdo's of Daesh/Al Nusra without help from Russia, Iran and Hezbollah.

Turkey, Iran and Russia are determinded to clean Syria from those Kurdish traitors and barbaric takfiri-mercs.

Syria should stop complaining and wining about Turkish troops and focus their energy at the takfiris and SDF.

Turkey will NOT stay in Syria, like they have declared for many times now. Turkey is only interested in cleaning the border.

Single fires can be shot between SAA and TSK, like ES operation. But large scale SAA vs TSK battle will not take place.

Reason is not that one side is superior or the other is weak. Reason is movements of TSK are coordinated and military notations are made. Astana negotiations were for these issues.

TSK invasion will last until counter balance factor, which is PKK/SDF is no longer a threat for disintegration of Syria. After that, even TSK withdrawal to SAA can be expected.

Other point is, after all, Turkish Artillery destroyed Byzantium years ago. So dont compare old M113s or M60s with Russian provided equipment to SAA.I bet in case of confrontation, they will have long way until them after Turkish artillery.Ask Greeks for more information.

The Ottomans were already crushed by Great Brittain and France.

The Arab uprisings (with heavy financial and militairy support from Brittain) just wiped the crumbs away from what whas left of a wounded and defeated army.

Normal or equally Turkish armies doesn't even loose against French or Germain armies, let alone against Arab states.

The battle fierce and battle moral of Turks are much much higher as that of Arabs. Israel proves that.
