Good. If these reports are all legit then I can only hope the end result will be a Russia doing major business with China + other neighboring Asian countries and less, much less, business with Europe. Imagine Russian companies buying out big European companies and let them work for both Russia and China. The Europeans will be pushing for antitrust cases if that happens.

Solid proof that Russia's economy is crumbling. LOL. In reality, this proves there is not even a recession in Russia.

WTF is civil society? Is it a collection of "NGOs" paid by foreign governments for subversion? Why is this "society" distinct
and special compared to the rest of society? Isn't society composed of the electorate who express their voice through the ballot?
Or are they not worth the time of day and only special people with extra-special foreign support the ones who should dictate to
these nobodies how to live and what to do? It appears so since the minority that staged the Maidan coup get to decide for
50% of Ukraine that does not support NATO and its Kiev stooges.

Russia’s Finance Minister urges creating center of reforms

According to Anton Siluanov, the center would involve lawmakers and also independent experts should define the indicators of effectiveness of specific budget spending

MOSCOW, June 23. /TASS/. Russia’s Finance Minister Anton Siluanov urged creating center of reforms to assess budget spending effectiveness.

He made this statement speaking in the State Duma, lower house of the Russian parliament.

According to him the center of reforms which would involve lawmakers and also independent experts should define the indicators of effectiveness of specific budget spending.

Siluanov said that the so-called "program approach of forming the budget makes it possible to prepare a document which is aimed at a certain result.

According to him it is necessary to revise the state programs defining effective and realistic expenditures for each of them.

"Unfortunately, it is not a goal-oriented approach that prevails now but a 'just turned out that way' approach when we create a budget on the base of the decisions that were taken earlier not on the base of the goals and objectives that should be achieved. Therefore, we need to implement some kind of 'reset' of the system of state programs turning them into a real tool to improve the efficiency of budget spending," the minister said.

According to the report published by the World Bank in April, continued impact of sanctions and lower oil prices will push Russian economy into protracted recession.

"Medium-term growth prospects for Russia are dim. The World Bank growth outlook projects that the continued impact of sanctions and lower oil prices will push the Russian economy into a protracted recession," the document said.

The World Bank baseline scenario for Russia projects oil prices at a level of $53 per barrel, and the economic contraction of 3.8% in 2015 leading to real GDP lowering to the 2012 level.

There is an issue with that though, is that oil prices account for 18% of GDP and right now, it is over $60 a barrel, so I don't know where world bank gets their figures from. But what they predict as a drop in GDP this year is lower than their previous figure I have noticed. If it drops to 2012 levels, it will be roughly $2T economy which isn't bad but which is also a "real" economy. No banking gimmicks, allowing illegal activity as GDP, or such.

Russians Pay Less Tax Than You - And Other Surprising (?) Facts

    Summary:
    • Russians Pay 13% (flat rate) Income tax
    • Oil and Gas attribute 16% of GDP
    • Oil/Gas contribute about 27% of Government budget
    • Unfortunately, there is a recession due to sanctions (I would add in global economy as well)
    • Budget Surplus so far of $40B this year
    • Second in world for immigration
    • Population still increasing (read that this year it is roughly 146M people now)
    • No massive capital Outflow. Majority is companies paying foreign debt off.
    • Gov Debt only 13.4% of GDP
    • Other political stuff

    Definitely a good look over.

This is the best thing about Russia.. and that i really more like..
IS that Russia is a 100% politically independent Super Power.. and that in just 5 years or less
will become also 100% economically independent of US and Europe.  Not many nations can say
that. If Russia pull it off and manage to sell to CHina in just 5 years as much energy as they sell to Europe ,then Russia will be the first truly 100% Independent self sufficient nation in the
    world.

Independent Military and space power already and Politically independent too ,  and only seeking to gain now an economic Independence from west.. which they can pretty much achieve. When you have such freedom , anything is possible.. Give away lands for free ,
Free social services in food ,water ,electricity and healthcare and education.  Cool While maintaining its capitalism for the billionaires. It will be like the most free place in the world.
Away of US NSA spying, away of GM food , away of Torture and police brutality and develop so much the country ,that Russians will have no need to travel outside ,and have fun just visiting
    their own continent nation.

This is what is fun about Russia its freedom allows the Government to experiment with any
kind of Government they want.. just recently there was reports of politicians in duman requesting Russia government to invite the Romanov still living families to return officially to Russia and give them a castle in Crimea or a castle in Russia for they to live..  Very Happy   Similar to UK that have a Queen and all that stuff..  Smile

And because people trust in their government vast majority . (Putin rating last poll was 89% support) . Some were even suggesting the return of a monarchy .Albeit was not supported by many the idea.. still the fact that people consider the idea shows the level of Independence and freedom Russia have is enough for people to consider to Re-invent  or Remake the Imperial Russia times but with more freedom and democracy than in the past..

Russia needs to start more than an arms race.. a race to moon and mars..with humans landing  and try to be first there ,not with movies but for real.. Laughing

This is really important because it will be a Huge Influence , for Europeans , they will want to
be closer to Russian Business and technology and they will start to break away from their destructive relations with Americans exceptionalism.. that see them as vassal states. and not as sovereign nations. This support (to split from Americans) and make alliance with Russia in Europe already exist .. in left wing parties.. which is a major first step ,that Russia is doing things right. In Germany and France for example.. you have important leaders asking for leaving NATO.. Such kind of support to Russia did not exist in Soviet Times. So is remarkable now Modern Russia under its new capitalism/open market business system have managed to
get influence in Europe , not enough to turn the tide..but enough to worry Americans about
Russia Rise to Power and business attractiveness for European companies.

(using max steel image for illustration)

The future of Russia is on space..
    Russian Economy General News: #4 - Page 30 21724_10

This is the Vision Russia needs to have..
Investing heavily there is what will create an industrial revolution.. the excitement of building
spaceship for human travel to other planes.. is the kind of motivation Russia needs to create
an Industrial Revolution ,like the one turned UK into a world Empire overnight.  Albeit This does not means Russia will do the same mistakes of conquering other nations and turning other countries into puppet states.. but that their influence will be the same ..as the most important
power in the world. For Technology and Progress. Once Russia can become a real Alternative
to Americans.and or Europe. you will see migration towards Russia..from the west. and Russia becoming a Magnet for best world scientist.. students ,artist ,musicians and sports people.

This is not wishful thinking is Already Happening at a very low level.. specially in Sports..like in Sochi ,that you saw South Koreans and Americans participating under the Russian flag.. but also in Science..

Investing in Space is not because there is anything spectacular to do outhere in space..(not in this generation with today technology).. other than the challenge in traveling first to other planes and seeing new things.. Is important because it encourage /motivates more than anything people to become Engineers and Scientist and invent new things. Is a really good motivator. Because of the prestige.

Aside that it will be a HUGE MEGA Success if Russia manage to master moon travels in a profitable way ,for tourism.. can anyone imagine that.. Shocked There will be thousands and thousands of Millionaires including the ones that wants to destroy Russia, waiting for years their turn to travel to the moon as tourist.. Space tickets will be sold like hotcakes.. even it every ticket cost 200 millions $dollars per seat. and it will allow Russia to get a new income and doing
something that is really cool ,really Fun and very prestigious. they will be paid for doing
they really like.. and best of all ,will allow Russia to raise its world image as world leader in
    technology and space. Cool

A Russian company called "Oysters" took the #1 spot in tablet sales on the Russian market. All because it has a much more competitive price compared with Samsung and other major producers. I like this type of stuff. If they can attract Russian chipmakers to produce CPUs for their tablets that would be epic news.

I myself have an Oyster tablet BTW. They're very cheap for the sort of features they have (my one had the highest resolution for 7-inch tablets at the time, a sim-card slot for 3G internet, Tegra 3 graphics chip - only the storage space and RAM were average; and I only paid 5000-5500 roubles or so for it.

Apple products and pretty much the rest of the consumer electronics in North America are made in China.
If the company is Russian and follows Apple's lead then I don't see a problem. If it is good enough for the

Most Russians (70%) believe that Russia should carry on its policy irrespective of the sanctions.

Some 62% claimed they did not experience any sanctions-related problems.

In the opinion of 66% of Russians, the primary objective Western countries tightening sanctions against Russia is “to weaken and humiliate Russia.”

that people should see.. looks really nice..

Russian BUildings in development or planning.

    Fifa 2018 stadiums

New Government buildings on construction..  in moscow..

The next video is really interesting.. shows Previous Unfinished projects of soviet times..
and future projects that will be done.. Maybe is only me.. but i find fascinating and much
more awesome the Greco-ROman tall building structures.. than the modern steel /Glass buildings we see today..  Will truly love Russia Government to do all those never done
Soviet Mega engineering Projects.. Anyone knows anything about them? if there is any plan
to do the buildings early in the next video?

Interesting article ,shows the major blow to US/NATO isolation plans of Russia...
with the announcement of the North stream 2. to double the Energy supplies to Europe.
The journalist who wrote the report effectively illustrate that US real goals ,with all
their Russian Aggression propaganda and militarization of Europe is to split the ties
between Germany and Russia.. , but i will add Italy ,France,too.. and smaller countries too.. can help Russia break the isolation of americans.. like Austria ,Greece ,Spain Hungary ,and more.

Uncle Sam Fails Again: Kremlin Ruins US Plans to Break Russo-German Ties

While Ashton Carter was sweating blood to drive a wedge between Moscow and Berlin during his week-long European tour, Russian President Putin had already thrown a wrench in the plan of Washington's warmongers, US journalist Mike Whitney underscores.

Clueless: US Doesn't Get Russia, Still Sees Moscow Through Cold War Prism
While Pentagon chief Ashton Carter was making every effort to exacerbate tensions between Moscow and Europe, Russia's Gazprom inked a second Nord Stream pipeline deal aimed at doubling the amount of gas running from Russia to Germany.
"The shocking announcement made it look like the clueless Carter had no idea what was going on and that his efforts to isolate Russia were a complete flop. And, make no mistake; the deal is huge, big enough to change the geopolitical calculus of the entire region," US journalist Mike Whitney pointed out.

Do not deceive yourself that Washington's motives in Europe are "pure as the driven snow," and that the White House is sweating bullets over the possibility of the EU losing its energy independence, Mr. Whitney warned. The reason for such anxiety is too obvious and Stratfor CEO George Friedman has made it clear:

"The primordial interest of the United States, over which for centuries we have fought wars — the First, the Second and Cold Wars — has been the relationship between Germany and Russia, because united there, they're the only force that could threaten us. And to make sure that that doesn't happen," George Friedman said at The Chicago Council on Foreign Affairs, as cited by the journalist.

Washington will do whatever it takes to prevent Germany from "linking up with Russia's vast natural resources," Mr. Whitney noted. Further Russo-German rapprochement may result in an integrated Eurasia free trade zone that will lessen US GDP dealing a lethal blow to the American empire.
"So don't believe the baloney about ‘Russian aggression.' What Washington really cares about is an economic rival that could leave it in the dust," the journalist highlighted

"And that's exactly what's going to happen when Germany becomes Moscow's biggest gas station," he stressed.

Undoubtedly, Gazprom's move has spiked Carter's guns. His vow to provide Eastern European countries with more weapons, more troops and more joint military drills begs the question, what is all this fuss about.

"And for what? To stop the Cossacks from sweeping across the Steppe and into the Baltics? Be serious. Putin's not going to invade Europe. He wants their business, that's all," Mike Whitney pointed out.

It was clear since the very beginning that Russia would seek other ways to transport its gas to Europe after the United States succeeded in dismantling the South Stream. Although the Kremlin has announced its strategic pivot to China, that does not mean that Russia will abandon its longstanding partnership with the West.
What makes matters even worse for Washington's decision makers is that Moscow is "going to be pumping gas into Europe" through both the new Nord Stream and the Turkish Stream, "leaving Uncle Sam out in the cold."

Meanwhile the US-backed Ukrainian government is nearly bankrupt. The US' plan to lure Putin's Russia into a "Vietnam-type quagmire" has evidently failed, the journalist stressed.
"Can you see why the United States can't be trusted as "the guarantor of global security"? Washington destroys everything it touches with its wrecking ball foreign policy; Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria. Now it's destroyed Ukraine. Who'll be next?" he asked rhetorically.

According to Mike Whitney Russian leadership has done the world "a favor" by undermining US plans and helping to bring the era of the American hegemony to a "merciful end."

    That's not nice at all.
Think about the 39 year olds today; by the time they reach 55 - they'll find that they have to work 8 more years before they can retire.

Actually it's a load of bull, following the Western economic model of wringing all the productive worth out of a person for the sake of better GDP figures, and a higher economic 'efficiency'.

What does it matter if the economy expands - if the living standards have to decrease in order to achieve that?

The economy should be for and about the people, and their conditions of living first and foremost.
