Russians didn't slap those Turks by accident, it was full planned response not some accidental oopsie...

Even if they take Damascus the war won't end. Tu-95 and Tu-160 can shoot Kh-101 at Damascus from Russian air space with the missiles flying across Iran and Iraq which absolutely hate Turkey at the moment.

NATO is defense treaty. NATO does not cover invading UN member states like Turkey did to SAR.

Russian lives are precious. They better not harm a Russian or else the whole Idlib region is going to hell.
