I think people are overblown with the civil war stuff.
The main problem imho is that the right-leaning people are also people who love the US the most. So they're unlikely to start the sort of shit that would tear their country apart.
What works really well for the US elites is that the losing side is always told "don't worry you have your states' rights" and then the supporters go "ok, we won't allow that sort of shit in Texas, who cares what the maniacs in DC do". Only over time it creeps into every state. Either way, now with hundreds of thousands of retarded californians moving to red states (because lol, they're the functioning ones) the republican chances in the future are doomed.
Also for those hoping they'll be too busy at home to not fuck up the rest of the world, I think that's a false hope. Biden clearly has too much invested in Ukraine to let that just sit, so expect more poverty and more dead Ukrainians there. Also with 4 years' worth of anti-Russia mouth-foaming hatred from the media/elites, he's gonna have to take an aggressive stance on literally every issue Russia is even remotely involved in.
Plus his possible choices for state secretary are all virulent Russia hawks.
Strap in boys, it's gonna be a fiery 4 years. I just hope the kremlin realizes this cold war is only getting hotter and hotter and half-measures are not going to cut it anymore.
Also, now any hopes of Europe finally figuring out that they're not actually required to be a satrapy can be abandoned. They're just gonna descend back into the "loving" embrace of uncle joe.
