Whats hilarious is all the 'wailing' and the 'gnashing of teeth' over its development/introduction.....you see this is terrible, but the use of Agent Orange

So 6 in total will be built and then they will move ahead with 22350M
USC to build two more frigates of project 22350 for Russian Navy
Project 22350 frigates are the most advanced ships in the Russian Navy
KUBINKA, March 20. /TASS/. The Severnaya Verf (Northern Shipyard, an affiliate of the United Shipbuilding Corporation) will build two more frigates of project 22350 and push ahead with building a series of corvettes for the Navy, USC President Alexei Rakhmanov told a business conference at the theme park Patriot near Moscow.
"A decision has been made to build two more frigates at the Northern Shipyard and to continue to build a series of corvettes," Rakhmanov said, adding the project 22350 frigates were identical to The Admiral Gorshkov.
"The Admiral Gorshkov frigate was handed over to the Navy in July 2018. Another ship of the same class, The Admiral Kasatonov, is in being tested. The Navy will have it in December. Two more frigates in the series - The Admiral Golovko and The Admiral Isakov - are being built.
Project 22350 frigates are the most advanced ships in the Russian Navy. They have a water displacement of 4,500 tonnes and can develop a speed of 29 knots. They are armed with missile systems Oniks and Kalibr and an air defense missile system Poliment-Redut.

They have enough shipyards to build frigates and corvettes in the same time.

That´s why he said "and push ahead".
By the way, rumour has it that the fourth Gorshkov will receive 3 modules = 24 silos for missiles.

This system is like an expanded Shtora that jams optical devices including telescopic sights and laser homing devices.
Shtora is designed to jam the IR sensors in ATGMs that use SACLOS systems... called gionimeters or something that track the IR flare in the tail of the launched ATGM and determine its location in the view of the ATGM system to determine how far it is away from the crosshair (aim point) and then an onboard computer determines what flight commands need to be sent down the wire to manouver the missile so it is on target.
The Shtora system generates an IR flare that blinds the guidance system so it can't see where the missile is and therefore cannot guide it to hit the target.
This system would likely achieve that too, but would also dazzle a scope of a conventional rifle or the aiming system of other weapons and electro optical systems so they have trouble aiming at and tracking the ship being protected.

Looks like 2 new Gorshkovs might be getting laid down this year, this time in 24 Kalibr version

heh DAT goes quick, I wonder if existing 11356/22350 will be also biffed up (11356 = 16 UKSK + 36 |Shtil-1; 22350 - 24 too ?)

Nah, why bother? And even if they want to they can wait until mid-life overhaul, no rush.
3x8 UKSK launchers fit nicely in whole multirole thing: 8 anti-ship missiles, 8 anti-sub torpedo missiles and 8 cruise missiles.
Perfectly balanced as all things should be

They could, or they could just have 12 AshM's and 12 ASW, because the INF Treaty is dead the impetuous to have naval cruise missiles have significantly lessened.

like a hamburger in left hand and coke in right - perfectly balanced diet?
But more seriously. This is pretty much rush for missile based deterrence. Very much asymmetrical not much carrier based. I just wonder if this affects CVN development?

No rush, just finally rebuilding the fleet and implementing experience from Syria, Russia finally accepted the fact that VLS is what gets the job done
As for CVNs they are decades away (if they even happen), these multirole ships are what Navy needs
