Not all Brits are on board with the USG/NWO/globohomo agenda, and some of us leant Russophile even before all this started.
Of course,
They were started for humanitarian reasons: having adopted the scorched earth strategy of denying food and shelter for the Boer guerrillas by burning farms and confiscating livestock, we felt we had a duty of care to the dehoused farmers.
Of course that is what their spin doctors said, but they were re-education camps... attempts to drain the swamp... cut them off from alternative points of view and convince them to your point of view.
They were the enemy and there was no duty of care... just attempts at brainwashing.
There were also Boers who had made peace with the British and required protection from their fellow Boers. But the road to Hell is ever paved with good intentions, and things went wrong. Between contagions spreading (one downside to concentrating people), supplies failing to get through (often due to disruption by Boer guerrillas ), insanitary conditions (exacerbated by many inmates having poor hygiene) and malnutrition exacerbating other medical issues, ultimately 18–28,000 out of as many as 160,000 internees died; one figure floating about gives the precise figure of 27,927 dead out of 116,572 internees. (See in particular Dr Alec Kay’s account from Henry John May’s 1970 Music of the Guns: Based on Two Journals of the Boer War, reproduced in Denis Judd and Keith Surridge’s The Boer War, 2002.) Meanwhile, our lads were suffering almost as badly: over 13,000 soldiers died from disease while fewer than 8,000 died in battle.(*) If able-bodied men in their prime are dropping like flies due to disease then, very sadly, elderly, children and sick will suffer worse.
(* See de Villiers, J.C. (1984) The Medical Aspect of the Anglo–Boer War, 1899–1902 Part II . Military History Journal, 6(3).)
Not very independent sources, and lots of blame for those damn Boers... if only they would do what their masters tell them... the UK currently has the same problem with Russians...
The Royal Commission set up to investigate the concentration camps noted instances of Boer families requesting admittance to camps (Concentration Camps Commission. Report on the Concentration Camps in South Africa. 1902. 9).
To quote an expert on British politics royal commissions only get called when the results are already well known... Can't remember which episode or series or whether it was Yes, Minister or Yes, Prime Minister...
Remember Churchill stated that history would view him kindly, because he intended to write it... I suspect British History regarding British crimes has the same imperfections...
Forgive me if I don't agree.
BTW about 100 years after Poland seized parts of Russia to create what is now bits of the Ukraine... no doubt with full western support, the British today and the Polish and Swedes and the EU and US in general feed weapons to increase the misery of war in the same region.
I think that Putin has finally had enough and that relations with the west will be almost nonexistent... so mission accomplished for your American overlords I guess.
Except it should Su30 or su35 doing it. It should never get that close enough to the convey. Tor or pantsir should be last resort.
If drones were easy targets for fighter aircraft, Saudi Arabia has plenty of fighters yet does not seem able to shoot down drones or cruise missiles...
Now that their country is at war there is no way they get into EU or even NATO.
It was something that the US was pushing all along... they have no other use for the Ukraine... how much money can they realistically loan it and what do they do when it disappears into bank accounts around the world?
Which is why I think Russia is going to divide the country into bits to create neutral bits that are very much like the donbass and lugansk regions but were under the control of the nazis and couldn't get them out.
Once they have shredded their army they will likely set them up to create their own regions and leave.
I used to think cricket is quite popular in Australia even if it is not as popular as rugby.
Cricket is such a religion in Australia that every kid learns all about what grades of sand paper to hide up their sleeves at a very early age...
And fanboys here praised the death of Ukrainian soldiers and call all of them Nazis, if you aren't going to apply the same standard to all, don't apply a selective standard.
The soldiers with swastika tattoos on their bodies and Nazi symbols on their uniforms, who want to murder all Russians, and western countries supplying lethal weapons in the hopes they will use them against Russians?
If they actually cared about these orcs they would be telling them to lay down their arms and sort things out with words and negotiations, but they probably privately hate the orcs as much as they hate the Russians so that is not going to happen.
The main problem with what Putin did is that he started a criminal invasion and ruined the shall we say, battle spirit of our nation, and its moral authority.
A battle spirit that remains in tact as long as it is never used is as worthless as it sounds.
The west has been attacking Russia for the last 20 years... if you leave defending yourself too long you might find them already in Moscow...
We're the aggressor. Putin should have provoked the other side into striking first.
Yep... the battered wife finally got the guts to blow that
nuts off and will want a complete separation afterwards... in this case it is OK because his junk was tiny, and they were already sleeping in different houses already.
Also France, Belgium and Czech Rep. are expelling russian students. If this happend to blacks it would be called racist.
True, but ending their indoctrination is also a good thing too.
In retrospect it looks like those 30 airplanes that did the work in Syria are probably the only useful thing Russia has, there can be no other explanation for this disaster we are seeing now
30 airplanes are not enough to cover Ukraine so it all fits
They are essentially destroying the military of the Ukraine with recon forces that normally operate ahead of their actual armoured formations.
People have mentioned the actual invasion of Iraq but instead of the hundreds of thousands of Americans and other forces involved imagine it being done by their airborne and marine forces only...
I would think their performance has been outstanding and as shown by western media coverage... they still have to use fakes to get their view of the situation across because none of them are even there.... they are all surfing the web for images and videos and phoning the war in...
Not to spread the war and chaos to millions more people, no
Millions of people who thought the suffering of their own people was good because they thought they were Russian.[/quote]
