In connection with the current situation in Ukraine, we must proceed from the need to redirect our exports away from this country as much as possible. God give everything calms down there quickly and people return to normal life. But for now, the situation is as it is, so we are working on reorienting Ukrainian exports," Golovchenko said ,as quoted by state-run agency Belta.
The prime minister noted that in 2021, exports to Ukraine amounted to almost $5.5 billion, or 13% of all Belarusian exports.
"According to the calculations of the Ministry of Economy, Russia, China can accept these volumes in the amount of $1.9 billion and $1.7 billion, respectively. I instruct the Ministry of Economy to bring to the branches the nomenclature and volumes to be redirected from the Ukrainian market," the prime minister added.
