They had a choice and that choice cost them their F-35s and part production of F-35s for other users, yet they still chose S-400s over Patriots.

Do you remember what happens in Syria when deones attack Rus AB. They bring Tor from Russia to protect it, because pantsir have radar problems to detect object with small rcs as dron are...tor did great job that..

Also they made it in great numbers because the need it to fill gaps on front and protect vital targets...

Your source is a Telegram channel with barely any posts per month, and ALL posts talking shit about Russia with no, or questionable, evidence. They even talk about the S-400 "destroyed" in Crimea by ATACMS, while showing an old photo of an S-300!
They simply take a photo of a damaged vehicle, without any proof of when and where it happened, and create a whole baseless story. There is 0 proof that it was a Himars attack, there is 0 proof that there was a Pantsir there, there is 0 proof that there was any drone.

Pantsir has had multiple upgrades since the initial version. The latest versions have radar with 75km range and can hit targets at 40 km range. They can also use miniature missiles developed to be used against drones.

And i dont see if the problem of Pantsyr will NOT be felt by TOR too given that they were both command guided system and similar architecture of their radar.

Both Pantsir and TOR suffer from having SAMs that are more designed to bring down aircraft and missiles when in most cases a much smaller cheaper missile would do most of the time.

They are working on dedicated anti drone missiles and if not already in service wont be too far away.

They already upgraded the Pantsir with a two faced search radar to double its scan rate as it spins around, but TOR is designed to engage a range of targets including dumb bombs and rockets and targets with very low RCS.

They are the two most potent short range AD systems available anywhere.

Belbek AB, last night...another S400 system is destroyed...For frack sake can they move this systems every 1-2 days from place to place...its fking mobile systems they need 10-15 minutes to posses position...In 1999 Serbian ADS move every 1 or 2 days from same position and that was fking S125 Neva system and you need at least 3 hours to posses position with it...instead of that Russian use same AB that was hit ones again...

Looking at the score card it has taken hundreds of attempts to get this and the vast majority of attempts were total failures.

The Russians will be carefully examining what happened (if anything actually happened... I trust your sources about as much as I trust Zelensky) and they will find solutions and soon no more successes.

Much like Storm Shadow and HIMARS which ended up being used against unprotected civilian targets because military targets were just too well protected.

They certainly have nothing to learn from you. No one has ever fought a war without suffering losses, including the winners. There is no AD capable of intercepting 100% of targets 100% of the time. There are not enough S-400 vehicles destroyed in more than two years of war, to form even half a battery of S-400. And no matter how many times you move an AD, you can't hide forever.

Ukria is getting the latest US satellite and remote intel and its missile forces are actually NATzO operators. With all of this, they have
almost nothing to show for it. But assorted internet wankers are acting like Russia is suffering epic losses.
