War that Russia started in Ukraine will not be won, Russia is running out of options and its leadership is still extremely arrogant and way over confident, so the fall into reality will be more hard I am afraid.
From pure militaristic point, once one shuts down emotions, Ukrainian execution past two months is simply brilliant and Russian forces were totally outmaneuvered, outstretched and outfoxed - that is simple hard truth and situation on the front reflects that.
Be aware that Ukraine will now get more united and resolute. Their goal and position is simple- Russian forces are invading army into the teritory of soverign country, it will be kicked out and its staying on the Ukrainian soil is non negotiable. They will not give a crap what Russia will say about that and will fight till their land is free. That is message sent to Russia from the day one and Ukraine is delivering to that promise.
Russian side on the other side has nor clear militarly speaking goals, they changed couple of times already and even its military does not have pure picture what their overall end goal is there. That is bad position to be in addition to front line that is more than 1500km long. I feel sorry to Russian soldiers that are sent into such a mess and to all pro Russian population there.
Russia does not have man power to rule Ukraine, that story is over couple of years ago.
Ps. and it is not first time in history that great power will lose war against smaller opponent, look into Vietnam or Afganistan examples...
Russians are taking kids gloves off and treating the war seriously now means they are losing...What logic is this?
