3 decades is a period that will give Russia "tranquility", since its opponents, fearful, will avoid any confrontation as much as possible, fearing being decimated!
Also remembering that Russia is taking advantage of this conflict to increasingly improve its armed forces.
Not only in equipment, but also in coordination, logistics and organizational structure. That is, even after 3 decades the RuAF will be much more refined.

Added to this, we have the legacy of the Wagners... Who will want to face the "musicians" who have already become myths around the world, imposing systematic defeats on all "powerful" NATO?
By the way, after this conflict is over, can anyone imagine which will be the most requested private armed group in the world?

It says total number of tanks for Ukraine is 2,596, but it also says Ukraine has 3,666 T-72s plus 710 x T-64s... well they also had T-80s in significant numbers so 3,666 plus 710 plus an unknown number of T-80s means they have 4,376 T-72s and T-64s but they only have 2,596 tanks in total... Duh.

The figure for Russia is suspect as well... 9,959 T-72s and 2,000 T-64s, so if they have the 12,400 tanks this chart claims that means they have 441 of all the rest of their tanks, to T-80s, T-90s, T-62s... which sounds rather unlikely considering they probably have 2,000 T-80s alone...

Interesting missile package used by Russia. Kaliber and other cruise missiles could have done the job yet KINZHAL was also used.

i was thinking part of the reasons the russian are delaying is they don't want to defeat Ukraine before the 35K troops being trained are deployed in Ukraine. The reason for this is if Ukraine is defeated before, they have a ready force of 35K trained paramilitaries that can be sent back to cause trouble. Best to let them return and smash them while they are still forming up for their offensive

I'll provide some context to my previous tweet as to whether there was a need to use hypersonic KINZHAL when Kaliber and other cruise missiles are already doing a great job.

NATO's air defence capability seems to be even worse than that of India's. For instance, if you look at this video you will notice that India's SAM systems carried out 2 interceptions -

1. Very low altitude interception

2. High altitude interception

Basically two extreme ends of the possible range of AShM attack profile that might be encountered by a ship.

1st AShM intercepted during its terminal stage attack run while flying at sea skimming height by LRSAM in lookdown shootdown mode

LRSAM basically did a cobra maneuver to swoop down on the AShM flying at wavetop level. It seems interception happen within the radar horizon of ship. As a reminder, Detecting low flying & low RCS targets against the sea clutter is very difficult and then converting it to a target kill harder still.

2nd AShM was intercepted before it could initiate terminal dive maneuver from height, with LRSAM flying to even higher altitudes for a top down head-on cross-over type engagement

This scenario is applicable for high flying AShMs especially air launched AShMs like the CM 400AKG.

Granted, there is a difference between a practice exercise and real warfare. But even then, NATO's vaunted air defence systems has failed to a large extent against Russian cruise missiles.
