Why do you even bother answering these idiotic questions? Third world education on full display.Big_Gazza wrote:Khinzhal is rocket powered, not scramjet. Put simply, its a heavily modified air-launched Iskander.
Zircon is a legitimate scramjet, but IMHO there is no reliable info yet on the true nature of its engine design, just conjecture.
Ask him the difference between rocket powered missile and scramjet powered missile. You'll die laughing and crying at the same time.

That ukro attack was a recon element
The video here depicts the accumulation of large mechanized vehicles for a coming attack on Zapo line
Idk if they will reattempt from Orekhov but they are probing the line
I hope the reserves and defense preparations are ready for when these idiots go mad max on the line

Short work made of Ukrainian recon probe out of Orekhov
As said they seem to be accumulating more vehicles
Orekhovsky area, situation as of 13.00 March 19, 2023 according to Rybar
Two assault groups of the 128th mountain assault brigade of the AFU Air Assault Forces, reinforced by territorial defense units, about two hours ago conducted reconnaissance in combat at the position of the 291st regiment of the 42nd motorized rifle division of the Russian Armed Forces near Robotyne.
AFU formations tried to outflank strongholds of the Russian Armed Forces from two sides. The movement of the enemy was noted by the calculations of the UAV, and the artillerymen of the 42nd MRD Rifle Division worked on the advancing groups of the AFU, destroying the equipment on which the AFU moved.
This attack, with a high degree of probability, is not the last one today. Armored vehicles of the AFU, including tanks, are now concentrated in the vicinity of Novodanilovka.
At the moment , at least 15 units of equipment have been deployed near the suburb of Orekhov. AFU units use a smoke screen before almost every offensive.
In addition, the AFU tried to storm the Russian Armed Forces positions from the Bilohir'ya - Charivnoe line. In the vicinity of Bilohir'ya , a column was formed, on which artillery immediately worked out. Now AFU equipment has returned to its original positions.
AFU command is preparing for a large-scale offensive. Regular, essentially suicidal attacks are aimed at assessing the state of Russian defense and adjusting the overall offensive plan in the Zaporizhia region.
At the same time, in the south of the AFU, reserves are concentrated not only near Zaporozhye: in the Kherson and Nikolaev regions from Ochakov to Nikopol, there are from ten to 15 thousand people, mainly therodefense and mobilized.
Yesterday, the AFU unsuccessfully tried to land the recon groups on Bolshoi Potemkin Island. And in Maryansky, on the border of the Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson regions, on the banks of the Kakhovka reservoir, assault groups are trained daily, including landing on the left bank of the Dnieper.

Russian President Putin Visits Mariupol, 03.19.2023.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has paid a visit to Mariupol, inspecting the city infrastructure and talking to local residents, the Kremlin press service informs.
"In particular, they discussed the construction of new residential microdistricts, social and educational facilities, housing and communal services infrastructure, medical institutions," the Kremlin said on Sunday.
Khusnullin told Putin that Mariupol residents were actively returning to the city following restoration works. Public transport is up and running in Mariupol, the deputy prime minister said, adding that the city's first streetcar routes are expected to start operating by the summer.
According to the Kremlin, Putin flew to Mariupol by helicopter and then traveled around several city districts by car, making stops to talk to local residents.
"The head of state also inspected the coastline of Mariupol near the yacht club, the theater building, memorable city sites," the Kremlin said.
In particular, Khusnullin showed Putin the building of the city philharmonic hall, telling the president that its construction was fully completed in three months.
The reconstruction of the city center of Mariupol, where many historical buildings are located, is planned to be completed by the end of 2023, the deputy prime minister said.

Regarding this map was a question when Russia will take/liberate the next regions (hopefully all of 404 to delete this fake state from the world map).
The answer is easy: after the current phase ended.
The current phase is the demilitarisation of 404, at some point the military or the whole regime will
partly collapse which will result in the liberation of large areas without huge battles, at least in the
South and east of the Dnjepr, but also in some northern regions.
Terrorism ("insurgency") is always to be expected but Russia can handle that, ask the "Caucasian Caliphate" and Daesh.
Well, you can´t ask them because most of their fighters are dead.
When this will happen?
Could be next month.
Could be at the end of the summer.
As the last months showed Russia is not in a hurry.
The form of battle, the slowly grinding down of enemy forces, isn´t such a surprise in the end.
But most of us, including such experts as McGregor or Ritter, are deluded by the huge exercises
of the Cold War era and the big arrow operations of WWII.
Most history books are concentrating on those big operations and we overlook the long time between
them. In these months the eastern front was more fluid than the frontlines in WWI but nevertheless it
was a war of attrition. All the time the main question was which side could bring in more troops, tanks
and guns and, even more important, more fuel and ammo. The big operations were influenced by this
much smaller daily operations.

In general, on Putin's visit to Mariupol.
1. The construction of a four-lane road from Donetsk to Mariupol has been completed.
2. The restoration and reconstruction of Mariupol is going according to plan. By the end of 2023, the city center should be completed.
3. Planned demolition of the destroyed high-rise buildings is underway (according to the plan, everything should be demolished by the end of 2023)
4. The Mariupol Sea Port is being actively restored, the capacities of which are being used to speed up the restoration work.
5. The work of public transport is being activated, 110 buses have already been launched in the city. The tram will probably run in the summer.
6. There is an active construction of new residential microdistricts (on the model of those already built).
7. The restoration of the Mariupol airport is proceeding at a rapid pace. The RF Armed Forces have already begun using it after mine clearance.
8. Local entrepreneurs are given interest-free loans in a simplified form when new jobs are created.
9. From 2023, Mariupol will start shipping various products through the port - coal, grain, rolled metal, etc. made in the DNR.
10. The population of the city continues to increase. Active restoration processes attract people to return to the city.
In general, Mariupol will obviously repeat the fate of Grozny. Being badly damaged during the fighting, it was quickly restored and reconstructed at the expense of federal transfers for restoration. Mariupol is waiting for the same path.

University of Chicago Professor John Mearsheimer: I think that In the rivalry between us (the Americans) and the Russians, the Russians will win. Now you're probably going to say, "Why does he say that?" Think about it: who has more determination? Who really cares more about this situation, the Russians or the Americans? The Americans don't care that much about Ukraine. The Americans have made it clear. They're not even willing to fight and die for Ukraine. So for us, they don't care that much.
For the Russians, they've also made it clear, it's an existential threat. So the balance of resolve, I think, is in their favor. And as we move down the escalation ladder, I think—and this is just my assumption—that the Russians will win, not the Americans. I don't think it matters much to the U.S. if we lose in the sense that the Russians prevail in Ukraine. I think the real losers in this war are the Ukrainians. And I think what has happened here is that we have guided the Ukrainians down the path of Primrose. We pushed very hard to encourage the Ukrainians to become part of NATO. We pushed very hard to make them part of NATO.
We pushed very hard to make them a Western bastion on Russia's borders, even though the Russians made it clear that this was unacceptable to them. We, as a result, and here I am talking about the West, took a stick and poked the bear in the eye. And as you all know, if you take a stick and poke a bear in the eye, the bear probably won't smile and laugh at what you're doing. The bear will fight back. And that's exactly what happens. And this bear is going to tear Ukraine apart. This bear is in the process of tearing Ukraine apart.
And again, we're back to where we started. Who is responsible for this? Are the Russians responsible for this? I don't think so. There is no doubt that the Russians are doing the dirty work. But the question is, "What made the Russians do it?" and I think the answer is very simple: the United States.

Russian investigators’ files on Kiev’s crimes to provide basis for tribunal — Kremlin, 03.19.2023.
All crimes are thoroughly recorded, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov highlighted.
MOSCOW, March 19. /TASS/. Russia’s Investigative Committee thoroughly records all Kiev’s crimes, with those files to potentially provide a basis for tribunal in the future, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Sunday.
"We know that the Investigative Committee is involved in this work. All crimes committed by the Kiev regime are thoroughly recorded. <…> The files will obviously be able to provide a basis for such a tribunal," he said when asked how the Kremlin takes the idea of a tribunal on Kiev’s regime.
Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin said earlier that Moscow should establish an international judicial body in response to Western countries, which are preparing similar structures for Russia’s prosecution.

I could only hope that Poland enters the war in Ukraine officially because I can't think of a country more deserving of getting its brains bashed in. For some reason, Polish politicians think Article 5 and NATO membership makes them untouchable in the case of a Russian attack. They're going to find out the hard way how easily the US abandons its "allies" when it's convenient for them, like they did with the South Vietnamese, Kurds and Afghan collaborators.
You'd think a country that has previous experience with betrayal and abandonment (Guarantees from France and England prior to WW2) would learn from their mistakes but, unfortunately, the most dense substance known to man is not Osmium but a Polish brain.

IF Poland goes to war with Russia, Biden will get to say he fulfilled a promise that he would send Russia back to the 19th century especially if the Balts join in with Poland. I mean it would be the early 19th century before central Asia and the Caucasus were brought under control of Petersburg, but it would be the 19th century.

Peskov said that Putin and Gerasimov discussed the course of the NWO for a long time, by Aysel Gereykhanova for Rossiyskaya Gazeta, 03.19.2023.
Vladimir Putin's visit to the headquarters of the special military operation in Rostov-on-Don was completely unplanned.
"The trip was not planned in advance - neither through the administration, nor through the Ministry of Defense," said presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
He noted that the headquarters work around the clock, and during the day there are reports in the areas.
According to a Kremlin spokesman, the president, having visited the headquarters, first listened to these reports, and then spoke separately with the chief of the general staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov.
"For quite a long time, the president spoke with Gerasimov in a separate office. An assessment of the situation was given," Peskov said.

From Twitter source:
Poland will declare war on Russia if Ukraine loses - Polish Ambassador to France Jan Rosciszewski.
Now, this has been corrected as a misinterpretation.
These politicians always talk tough until higher ups start to panic.

I saw photo of Russian troops going into mud , with fancy fabric ( stitched ) hiking Boots ! Why not allow them to wear Wellington Boots ? Cheap to make ?
Thousands of wellies were crowdsourced, even the ones prepped for winter, with wool inners. MoD bought tons of them too. Plenty of videos and pictures of Russian troops wearing them. From last year.

"If Ukraine fails to defend its independence, we will have no choice, we will be forced to enter into a conflict," the diplomat said on the air of the LCI TV channel.
Oh yes, so to avoid this Poland needs to send all they can to help Ukraine. 300k people will be conscripts, good luck enoucaring them to die for Ukraine. I bet this will be very popular.
Poles I know fear prospect of this, if their politics want, they can always go to Ukraine and join azov.
Sounds like a bullshit, Russian army would mince those conscripts up

Big announcements:
Russia-China ties have no limitations – Putin
Beijing and Moscow are working together to shape “a more just multipolar world,” and ties between the two countries are now “at the highest level in their history,” President Vladimir Putin said in an article, released on the eve of a visit by his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, to the Russian capital. The piece, penned by Putin for China’s leading People’s Daily, was released late on Sunday by the Kremlin’s press service.
“The progress made in the development of bilateral ties is impressive. The Russia-China relations have reached the highest level in their history and are gaining even more strength; they surpass Cold War-time military-political alliances in their quality, with no one to constantly order and no one to constantly obey, without limitations or taboos,” Putin wrote, praising the “level of trust in our political dialogue, our strategic cooperation.”
The two nations are busy shaping “a more just multipolar world,” Putin noted, lauding Beijing’s Eurasian international efforts under the One Belt, One Road Initiative, as well as China’s Global Security Initiative, envisioning comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security.
“Our countries, together with like-minded actors, have consistently advocated the shaping of a more just multipolar world order based on international law rather than certain 'rules' serving the needs of the 'golden billion,'" Putin wrote. “Russia and China have consistently worked to create an equitable, open and inclusive regional and global security system that is not directed against third countries.”
Beijing and Moscow have been “literally and figuratively building bridges,” the president noted, with their actions drastically different from those undertaken by “some countries claiming hegemony and bringing discord to the global harmony.”
“We actively promote democratic multilateral structures such as the SCO and BRICS, which become more and more authoritative and influential and attract new partners and friends,” he said.
