The Russian Defense Ministry reported that over the past 24 hours, the country's forces have taken almost the entire territory of Artyomovsk (Bakhmut), in addition to destroying numerous other Ukrainian units.
Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are destroying urban infrastructure and residential buildings in Artyomovsk during their withdrawal, to slow the advance of Russian troops, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday (15).
According to the Ministry, the fiercest fighting in the entire Donetsk region took place near Artyomovsk, with assault units of the Wagner group advancing and taking possession of two blocks on the northern and southern outskirts of the city.
"The remaining units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Artyomovsk are deliberately destroying the city's infrastructure and residential buildings to slow the advance of our troops, while retreating," according to the Ministry.

Russian weapons in Indian hands kill Pakistani soldiers while American weapons in Pakistani and Ukrainian hands kill Indian and Russian soldiers respectively.Sujoy wrote:
Lavrov is making "friends" with a country whose munitions are killing Russian soldiers......Unbelievable.
And India's making friends with the US...
Kind of hypocritical on multiple levels to cry about making friends with people who arm your enemies, don't you think?

have thought that Russia and Turkey could get along to the point of Turkey undermining NATO over Ukraine. Engaging Pakistan is
better than helping the US control it by attacking it.
Consider Baerbock's pathetic attempt to browbeat China. Lavrov is not an imbecile like this dollar green c*nt.

They been saying Putin has been dying if cancer for years now. While guy can sit and talk for 4 hrs straight and is extremely coherent and fluent while Biden can't even do that for 10 mins.
The west has been trying to put this wedge that somehow Gerasimov is some kind of evil genius. Remember the "doctrin"? Because the guy looks scary, the west tries to create a portrait of the guy without actually knowing him.
Anyone falling for the leaks are being taken for a very long ride.

Black markets for munitions are very well developed. Probably a shiton of foreign stuff goes in russian hands too. It's not like anyone want to stop that. Russians are no better, they sell to both Pakistan and India, north Korea and South Korea, they even maingain nato migs...

NATO MiG fighter jets, I guess that would be in countries like Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria.
Russia had to fight the Ukrainian mercenaries in South Ossetia and Georgia back in early 1990's and in 2008, but it was always generous to Ukraine during these times; lots of free natural gas and free money.

Such strategies will allow Pakistan to blackmail Russia for decades.Regular wrote:All they can do is to offer something that would change Pakistans mind.

Pakistan has a unique negotiating style
Its diplomats have used deception, guilt trips and the "lower hand" to get what it wants
Islamabad has used these tactics to ally with America, court China and take on India.
Err....India making "friends" with US is causing the death of Russian soldiers in Ukraine? Perhaps u can start with primary school english before getting into imputing motives and letting loose adjectiveslyle6 wrote:Kind of hypocritical on multiple levels to cry about making friends with people who arm your enemies, don't you think?

Nazing to see here
It's clearly a different insignia though.
Whose insignia is it?

To be honest the insignia looks very different. The leg is bend on the bottom, it has not such curly fur, it has wings, it has a sword in it's hand.
Similarities sure, but is this an SS Galichina insignia or just "modernized" version?

It is the divisional insignia of the 14th SS Infantry Division "Galizien."
A very blatant and extremely widespread manipulation of history is giving a false impression that all the Waffen-SS divisional "names" were given out as honorifics of some sort, and that not all Waffen-SS divisions had such names.
In reality the "Russian Nr. 2" had the divisional name of "Weissruthenien" and it was not really Russian but Belarussian (there were also some ethnic Polish collaborators in it too).
Also, the "Latvian Nr. 1" had the divisional name of "Lettland."
Every single Waffen-SS division had its own name, they were not given out as some sort of honorifics.

Kadyrov:
Five Chechen fighters returned to Grozny today from Ukrainian captivity.
Journalists asked me what I think about this. I believe that a Chechen soldier should have no reason to be captured. Excuses may be different, but be that as it may, the warrior must prove that he had no other choice. And you need to prove it by returning to the front line.
That's why I didn't meet with the returnees. This is a matter of honor not only for an individual fighter, but also a matter of honor for the entire unit, the entire regiment in which the fighters serve. Let them prove that they did not avoid battle, were not afraid to meet the enemy and did not look for an opportunity to lay down their arms and save themselves from bullets.
An illustrative example was demonstrated by Kirgiz Musikhanov, who was wounded, captured, but returned, healed his wounds and again went into the thick of battles as part of the Akhmat special forces, showing good results .
Of course, captivity is not a crime. I understand. And we are glad that the fighters survived. An hour before their capture, they communicated by radio and reported that they were running out of ammunition. But every warrior must not just shoot randomly, but think over every shot, take care of every cartridge. I realize that this is also my fault, that they were not sufficiently prepared for such a situation and did not fully understand that a fighter should plan his ammunition load. But now the guys have a chance to prove to themselves, their comrades, the commander and the whole country that this was a forced step. What an oath, duty and honor above all!

I guess Russia could be cloud seeding. China has masted this technology. They use small rockets about the size of an S-5 missile and drones. I am a bit skeptical though. It has been a wet spring everywhere. But you never know.
