During a conversation with Xi Jinping, Zelensky had to communicate in Russian
According to the press service of the office of the President of Ukraine, the negotiations lasted an hour, during which Zelya experienced "tremendous moral suffering" due to the fact that he was forced to communicate "in the language of the aggressor."

It seems the use of gliding bombs by russian air force obliged the ukro to move their AD much closer to the frontline. That's why they could target them with lancet that have 40km ranges.
It means far less systems are defending cities.

You are looking at the T-72B1 with a Kontakt-5 upgrade on the front of the turret + some other goodies around the back and sides. The Kontakt-1 covering the rest of the turret should give some protection against the Javelin.

They will run out of AD. Those gliding bombs are really effective and only long range SAMs can counter it. Soon they will have to bring the Patriots and SAMP-T on the front.
Their rears are totally exposed to kalibr missile attacks.
"Reportedly Iranian made Kornet copies with thermobaric load in use by the Russian army." First, there's no reason for Russian to use Iranian copy. Second, based on the photos the two red bands are placed different. Third, why can't the Russian put those red thing on the real Kornet? Just my opinion.

Who knows. Maybe Russia is running out of ammo? Maybe US was right all along? I mean, there is no reason to be using Iranian copies of what Russia already mass produces but maybe Russia lied about it's manufacturing capabilities?
Or it's all bullshit.
Possibly Iran requested Russia to test out their equipment on the battlefield as a form of gesture toward further deals between the two countries economically.

Russia uses regularly a lot of equipment and ammo. Possibly they want to keep their storage in good condition as well, in case they are involved in a larger war later, so that they do not find themselves in a situation in which they have to beg for ammo or wait for production.
It is also possible that Iran want to test their equipment ina difficult environment and both countries have benefits in it. Russia can replace their stored ammo and keep both the old and the Iranian ones being used without worry

I still can't get why some have an issue with admitting/spotting the obvious things Yes, Russia is vastly supplied by Iran, and the scope of supplies are getting wider and wider. Check the photos of missile containers, you will spot an interesting thing. All are marked with a combo of old Soviet nomenclature and English. They are interoperational. You can use them on a standard Kornet system, without any problems.
Iranian supplies are much cheaper than Russian originated, due to PPP ratios.
Kornet is insanely cheap anyway, but if you can have it at 1/3rd of a price - one must be stupid not to benefit.

of course that there is reason to use Iranian ammo or Kornets. Ability to produce in general is finite for every country. Russia inclusive. So if you produce Kornets or simple ammo is costs you not only money but also possibility to make other missiles or types of equipment Like izd 305. Krasmopol or FAB3000with wings or Pantsir / Tor missiles.
Any from of extra resources i'd say is welcome by Russia which is under western aggression.

As an interesting side-by comparison. Iranian automotive business is being introduced in Russia as well, and what is a funny observation is a fact, that Russian giants must seriously reconsider some aspects. Iranians offer cars with the same French heritage, only PSA instead of Renault. But the prices are extremely competitive, a quite nice sedan of P308 size with safety subsystems, A/T and multimedia is being calculated at less than 8000 euro. And that is only because of some dealers' profit margins they are trying to get while the market is fragile. In the usual circumstances, it should cost less than E7k... Production localization is solely in Iran, which is why Iran became a quite potent subcontractor for tons of car manufacture subsystems. Russian airliners of Boeing and Airbus have started to be serviced by the Iranian companies, as they mastered the components production and sanction avoidance for decades. There is no way both countries won't benefit from that cooperation. Have you even checked the tourism perspectives Iran can offer? Or Syria? Russkie are wealthy tourists, they spent 40% more on holidays than the European average. In total, we talk a E20 bln a year spendings. Imagine that cash influx into Syrian economy. Or Iranian tourism.

It even seems they are rocket assisted?
Is VKS considering the use of Yak130 for these missions? Or is it simple training?
How would such training translate to usage of those weapons on other cars?
I lean towards Yak being considered for front line use??
They have a payload of 3K kg so they can technically loft 6 FAB 500 glide bombs and the stand off range of the bombs makes it pretty low threat. I if they take 4 bombs they can probably get to max alt and those bombs will go a looooong way. Cheap bomb truck.

Alamo, I would suggest that it is all down to excellent marketing, Russian for some customers and English for others. Probably applies to all kinds of products.
Could they use Russian or English (American that is) themselves?
