Almost all of "hero of the Ukraine" titles are called "posmertno" status. Death ones.
Russian commentators observed a long time ago that the Maidanites had some kind of death cult, starting with the 'Heavenly Hundreds' myth from the Maidan sq. coup events.
And since the war broke out it's only gotten more acute. Giving the Snake island defenders state awards in the hopes that they will all fight to the death, and then a similar story in Mariupol, etc..
You have to be something like a kamikaze or suicide-bomber to fulfill certain functions in the Ukrainian military for sure. Su-24/Su-25 pilot for example.

A circulating video shows Russian soldiers claiming to have found a torture chamber within a recently taken stronghold. According to them, AFU tortured a soldier from the 155th Marine Brigade before beheading him. The marine's body was mutilated, and the severed head was burned. An estimated 20+ NATO Hohol uavs have attacked Pskov.
There are speculations about the use of Belarusian airspace to carry out the Terrorist attacks or even launch from one of the Baltic chihuahua countries

Big fire at Pskov International Airport, looks like fuel. There are a lot of unconfirmed reports right now, two planes have supposedly been damaged, some sources are reporting that the drones came from the west, which would imply that they were launched from Latvia or Estonia.

Ukraine does not possess missiles capable of reaching that far. This had to be either sabotage or a strike originating in Estonia or Latvia.

So confirmed attacks came from Baltics. Russia needs to evict these occupiers but first exterminate their populations along with Ukrainians and Finns

At the same time that Ukraine attacked Pskov, they also attacked, AND FAILED, with drones in the Black Sea, in Tula and Bryansk, but you don't mention that after all it's hard to talk about embarrassment, or Putin failure, when his successes exceed his flaws...

Russia is a stronger nation, it’s supposed to be smashing these Nazis even more than what they are doing as of now. You’re gonna seriously tell me these Ukrainian attacks are acceptable at this stage of the war? It’s like Russia and Putin don’t learn anything from the previous breaches and always respond after the fact instead of trying to end this war as quickly as possible and using everything at their disposal to demilitarize Ukraine and take back Novorossiya land. They’re half-assing everything and taking it easy on them. Giving them time to launch counterattacks, replenish their reserves and do preventable attacks like we just saw in Pskov. Putin needs to declare war and finish this instead he’s pussyfooting around and failing to take the initiative in this conflict.

Ukraine announced that they developed drone with a 1000 km range months ago. Probably, that sector was not sufficiently covered by AA assets. Another possibility was that it was combined attack done by drones and saboteurs. Let's not forget that last autumn two Ka-52 were destroyed at repair base in Pskov region due to bad security.
If it was only drone attack, it means that more than one drone slipped, as the planes were not standing in line per this satellite picture.
As for the way the war is fought by Russia, there's nothing to say, except that their actions are mostly reactive in nature.
Another proof to it, was an retaliatory attack on a point of deployment of Ukrainian army in Sumy AFTER two civilians were killed in rocket attack on a village in Bryansk region. It is a fucking war. If you knew they were there, kill them outright.
No need to talk about the fact that Ukraine has electricity, refinery is working and all bridges are still standing.
