They take direct part in the hostilities on the territory of Ukraine (excluding the reserve component and border protection groups)...

– more than 429 thousand. ... on their armament they have:

- tanks – 2347 units
- armored combat vehicles (BBM), including armored vehicles – 5653 units
- artillery systems (AS), caliber from 100 mm and above - 3186 units
- multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) – 974 units
- launchers of the operational-tactical missile system (PU OTRK) – at least 46 units

All this is summarized in the following...

- brigades (of all kinds, from motorized rifle to artillery, railway, anti–aircraft missile and control) - 58
- regiments (also all kinds of motorized infantry, tank, separate marines and amphibious assault, etc.) - 133
- formations of the "separate battalion" level and status - 106
- various consolidated tactical detachments (from "storm-z", to "barsiks" and "kadyrovites") – 46

I emphasize that this does not take into account the groups deployed in the "Bryansk, Kursk and Belgorod regions" as troops (forces) "covering the border", as well as reserves at all levels.

Strategic offensive operation of the Russian Army

Such a loud headline was made based on the number of forces and means involved, as well as nearby targets being viewed.

Avdeevskoe direction (number 3 on the map) became the loudest. Trains of ammunition and aerial bombs literally fell on the enemy's most complex fortified area. The offensive of the assault troops of the Russian Army is on waste heaps (an artificial hill made of depleted and waste rocks) near Avdeevka itself, from the south near Opytny, we are trying to cover Berdychi from the north with a claw. In this area, the road to Avdeevka was already behind us during the day; the supply route to the Ukrainian Armed Forces was cut off. The weather on the front in Ukraine has worsened a lot. Artillery activity is reduced, and drone operators can't do much. A slight lull is noticeable in the Zaporizhia sector of the front
