My latest catch
Ammunition selector on the T-90M of the new modification.
What shocked me is the number of ammo types it includes.
Left to right :
Y (Upravialny) -noch - guided missile/night channel
Y - guided
B - bronieboyny - armor piercing
K - kumilativny - HEAT
O - oskolechny - HE
P - ?
R - ?
S - ?
In the other tanks with new ammunition, the selector in the "P" mode is being used for prolonged APDS rounds ...
But the last two are totally new for me.
One might be "Telnik", and I would guess "S" - specyalny.
Edit :
I have just checked what I can find with the "regular" T-90M from a different material, and ...
It is the best I could squeeze out of it, but yoc can see that it is a different animal.
Starts with "Y/U", later goes B, K ...
I will try to look for a better version.

The smallest that we know of... have you seen the difference in size between a 152mm and 125mm... the difference is not enormous... 50kg vs 20kg.... if they can manage 10Kt from a 152mm shell and 20Kt from the 240mm Tulip... they should be able to manage a 2Kt from a 125/122 calibre if they wanted...

There was some ukro commenting the tank they have captured, claiming that this sort of ammo selector is there since the Russian made FCS replaced the Belarussian Sosna-U.
