Back in the 1980s a few in the news media were getting upset about all the Kiwis leaving NZ and moving to Australia. NZ had a small population of about 3 million at the time and if you were in the music industry or TV or movies the bigger market meant you could have a career there but not so much here.

This led to one of our politicians saying something along the lines of New Zealand migration to Australia boosts the average IQ of both countries.

But the most annoying thing I find is when people in the west complain about things and demand change and those happy with things say if you don't love it then you should leave. Essentially saying free speech is allowed buy you can't have a different opinion to everyone else or they want to kick you out...
