Why the hell does it remind me of cannons installed on star destroyers?

Pretty awesome video about possible Russian land drones with very nice CGI I've never seen in other Russian promos. Unfortunately kurganets and boomerang is nowhere to be seen.

The problem is the demand for Unmanned Ground Vehicles is extremely low the world over .
It's essential to remind ourselves that the Army tends to be more conservative than the Air Force & Navy when it comes to adopting new technologies .
Therefore , unless there is a good upsurge in demand for UGVs we will not see mass production of these vehicles anywhere in the world.

Anyone who owns a battery powered helo will know the battery works for about 10 minutes and takes 6 hours or more to charge.
In a toy that can be acceptable... in a weapon of war you are carrying around dead weight that might or might not be useful.
Rather than little vehicles like that it is more useful to have small cameras you can throw or fire or fly into areas you want to know more about.
The real problem with the video above is that these vehicles will need to be covered in vulnerable cameras and sound sensors and other equipment needed to work out where the enemy is and also what else is around. A single sniper firing from a single room in a building you are not going to win hearts and minds if you fire MGs at that building without making sure you don't hit non combatants.
The idea is good, but it will be quite some time before that becomes reality...
A sniper model could be useful with a belt fed semi auto "sniper" rifle with long range optics and ballistics computer and laser range finder etc so it could be sent to high ground to scout for targets and engage them. A Metis-M1 ATGM might be useful mounted on it too just to engage targets behind cover armed with a HE warhead.

For good the bigger the weapon the rarer such malfunctions are.
The bigger malfunction was that the operator rotated while shooting instead of spreading it where he was shooting anyway.
Edit: BTW this is the exact same tunguska from other perspective more impressive.
And from inside the shooting Tunguska.
