As soon as normal sane ukrainians will protest against this facist western backed revolution the western media will call it a Putins coup.

Putin is by far to gentle with all the arrogance and violation of countries sovereignity he needs to make an example to show that as soon americans just step with one foot out of their boarder that there will be serious consequences we had far to long this anglo zionistic empire couping around the world installing dictatorships and responsible for millions deaths and creating problems that have never existed or exaggerate them.

calripson wrote:The CIA, European intelligence agencies, the US State Department, and multiple NGO fronts for those entities have been working in Ukraine for decades. They had the structure for this revolt all keyed up and ready to go for years. That being said, the success of it does depend on the passion and energy of the western Ukrainians to actually get out and fight. The crowds in Kiev were mostly young. If you watch video of pro-Russian protests the crowds are usually older. No Ukrainian under 30 has any real memory of ever living in a single state with Russia and their schooling for 20 years has painted Russia negatively. No eastern region of Ukraine will secede. Even in Kharkov, the pro-westerners are out in force intimidating the other side. Russia will not intervene in Crimea unless their forces are attacked and NATO/US has no desire to take that route.

Ukraine will eventually be brought into NATO. That's the whole idea. The EU and US will increase their support of Caucasian separatism followed by Tartar separatism, Bashkir, Circassian, ect. It is all open knowledge written about by Brzezinski who published a map of Russia in 1996 showing the country broken into 7 different regions.

The base goal is to remove Russia permanently as even a theoretical threat to "trans-Atlantic" hegemony. Russia is viewed as too large, controlling too many natural resources, and too militarily advanced to "let be".

I feel sorry for Putin. He is fundamentally dealing with a very weak hand. It was Gorbachev that really gave everything away. Had the USSR had a young effective leader in 1980 or 1985 (as China did in Deng) the future would have been different.

At fist I would disagree with you. But after seeing this, it reminds me of a more violent Orange revolution. Of failed once, try again. Under the last revolution, they were pushing NATO on Ukraine. They failed. Now seems like they are trying again. Russia sitting on the sidelines is daunting as yes, this will hurt their national security. I also agree with you that they will try to split Russia so they are never a threat again. Its really sad to see nieve people are and thinking the west has their backings in the interest of other countries. Russia really does need to be careful. They may be peaceful now because of Ukraine. But what about their own country? Are they going to sit by while neo nazis will protest with guns and try to overthrow gov in favor of western backed ones?

Its all a slippery slope, and already seema US has taken the plunge.

    So far:
    - First order of business? Ban Russian as regional language.
    - beg to US and EU for $35B bailout.
    - disband and rename Berkut.

    What I forsee is:
    - join nato
    - get us military base in country
    - lose even more money and probably any investment from Russia while more people leave the country.
    - gas gets cut or prices on gas increases while they cry about the big bad bear.

If US puts NATO bases in Ukraine it is reason enough to strike them and break sovereignity to ensure global peace and not giving US what it seeks for domination over russia.

If US puts or better to say when not if, the if is out of the equation, than russia has every justification to use military operations against this facilities or/and ABM shields which will completley destroy the current balance of Nuclear Power in the World.

You know, i honestly wouldn't mind NATO bases in Ukraine, cause then Russia will have to respond and i can't think of anything better then getting rid of the START and/or INF Treaties.  Twisted Evil

Putin is either too patient or he has lost the plot . I don't know which one is true .

Had NATO or EU tried to do this in or around China , by now China would have retaliated by activating Scottish & Irish separatists in UK , Basque in Spain and started financing armed conflicts in Mexico .

Allegedly, a large Maidanist crew dispersed "Oplot" fellows besieging Kharkov administration building. Reinforcements from Kiev?

Reality for Ukraine regarding EU will be sober. EU already have a very high rate of unemployement and poor people living under minimum, so you could be sure we don't want to see additional millions of Ukraininas inside EU competiting with us for rare jobs. Why do you thing Suisse in referendum vote for limiting immigrations from EU? You could bet, that in May elections for EU parliament will also win right parties, which are against this EU madness. There is not enough money for current members, we don't need another beggar.

The only ones right now that are refusing to recognize the government and pay taxes to Kiev AFAIK are Sevastopol city and Lugansk oblast.
And something tells me Lugansk may fold. Perhaps.
    Sevastopol won't though

This was not a democratic revolution, but a NATO backed Coup d'état with no legitimacy, the fight has just begun and the majority of Ukrainians sided with the Russian friendly parties last time around but I'm predicting that the May elections will have little legitimacy or transparency so they need fake elections to give them democratic cover for their coup.
