Currently playing Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2, difficult but fun games. I used to mod the living sh*t out of Skyrim, until my saves kept getting corrupted so I haven't touched the game in a while. Apparently Bethesda's has been working on the new Fallout Game but they've been real hush hush. I can't wait till they get around to making an announcement on the new Fallout game and it's progress.

Yes, i lost over 300 hours of game play due several times of Skyrim corrupt savegames because of deinstalling/installing mods, very frustrating.

Silent hill series are my favorite horror games, I also love Metal Gear Solid I cannot wait for Phantom Pain. I usually play Arma 2 with ACE mod on my laptop but since my laptop has horrible specs for a game that big it usually is like 15 fps, Also I have read about a game called Combat Mission Black Sea which is a game that takes place in 2017 and has Russia vs Ukraine and America in a war. And its like a wargame type game. I'm going to get all the silent hill games soon and lock myself in my room in the dark and experience horror itself clown

im still playing the crap out of Wargame: Red Dragon. often shooting the yanks to hell with the might of the russian bear Wink. this game is still my favourite among my RTS games.

i mostly only play as either west germany or Russia. rarely anyone else. here's a nice picture of one of my SU-30's going for an gun-kill on an escaping A-10.

i dont know why the hosted picture quality is bad tough, quite possibly i did something wrong. not too much experience posting pics im afraid.

I find the guided missiles in this game are horrible, i usually use dumb bombs, clusters and napalm to kill ground targets. I've noticed also that this game is cheating constantly. You can give your enemy a deck you have designed yourself where you know how much units it holds and than during the game it cheated with more destroyer vessels than the deck held and with more Attack Helicopter than the deck held. With Kiowa Recon helicopters which can see into forests while your own recon Ka-52 or Tiger UHT can not see enemy units inside forests. The game cheats unfortunatley but it can be fun, i usually use Attack Helicopters like Mi-28 as long as i know enemy has no ADS they just can annihilate everything that is thrown at them same as AH-64 kind of like this, except those situations where the PC obviously cheats and knows where your units are despite not being LOS.

Do you guys do DCS flaming cliffs 3? or any module. I dont because my pc cant do the new dcs world, but i play flaming cliffs 2 and i love to make very complex maps. Maybe if you like i can upload some. I made a huge and apocalyptic Su-27 campaign, very brutal with lots of huge battles and some nice storyline. It started as an anti terror ops i Khabardino Balkaria and training camps in the georgian forntier. Then some US and Israelis spec ops make a mess and Russia retialiates against Georgia in a massive air campaign. Then come USA with NATO and the fun starts!. But sometime i have to downgrade the number of plane coz FPS, but there are very nice IADS networks and great bombing escort missions Smile

in other games, yeah metal gear solid and silent hill are all time favorites. Super Mario bros 3 is my all time favorite and of course zelda games.

In the horror games i really like eternal darkness sanity's requiem

I play a lot of N64 and my favorite "adult" game there is f*king TUROK 2. Just a badass game

sometime i play red crucible 2. A fun free to play massive shooter set in the cold war with lots of nice details, but is arcadeish

Whenever I decide to play Skyrim I spend 5 hours downloading the latest, most perfect Mod combo that I want, by the end of it either 1.) massive compatibility issues or 2.) I am so sick of modding I don't even want to play anymore. Rinse and repeat every few months.

    First world problems.

It is a bit old by now, wait for the new Radeon GPUs to come out so the market drops in price, then get something a few gens newer.

Used or refubed cards are a great deal btw.

Im on a Gigabyte 7950, every time I decide to upgrade I think...what's the point?

I have such a huge backlog of older games anwyays.

Friend of mine might sell me a 780Ti in a used system for a good price in ~6 months. Might just go for that, no hassle, no need to put anything together, and would be an upgrade from my 2500k as well.

Glad my upgrade itch is over, used to be every new gen of cards I would be salivating over them....

Though I will say, I'd rather stay AMD if I can.

Running games no problem in my 6970 direct cu 2.

Not interested to upgrade anytime. Not till next cards. But I'm gonna ditch windows soon, if valve keeps plugging away at linux. I play mostly old games these days.

Got a new controller for my ps3. Gonna play me some ff6

The HD6970 has some solid marks above the GTX 560 Ti.

If you ever do upgrade then the R9 280X is a good option.

And i wouldn't recommend switching to Linux just yet, dual-boot is the better option for now, at least until Win7 expires.

TBH the Nvidia 970 is a great card for its price. But AMD always seems to have good deals\sales on their cards so... It's really up to what you need and for what cost.

TR1, you've been playing any WoT recently? I'm thinking about grinding the VK B that you love...

In a few days I will be back in WOT land, was away from my desktop for far too long.

The VK is a monster. Mind you, its slow as hell, akward, gold shells will want to make u punch babies....but it is sooo worth it for dat front armor. it works especially well if ur team makes a basic attempt to coordinate with you- just tempt the enemy to shoot your front up, laugh as they bounce while your team kills them.

My damage-to-armor ratio is absurd on it.

If they nerf the VKs front armor I will legit quit playing the game. You fucked me once with the Foch 155 WG. Never again.

    Cool Very Happy

Yep, I've been watching replays of it and that frontal armor is just amazing. It can bounce Tier 10 TD's without much of a hassle for crying out loud... The turret isn't amazingly strong though. At least it can side-scrape well with the rear-mounted turret.

    Don't doubt it...

WG has been high off of the nerf bat as of late. With every new patch comes more and more nerfs... Just look at the sniper TD's! If 9.6 is gonna mess with them as much as I think I'm going to jump ship to my mediums, lights, and hopefully VK's... At least the Foch 155 still has respectable frontal armor, but yes its side is absolute garbage.

Gotta ask, with you driving so many high-tier tanks, how many games have you logged so far? I'm only around 4.5k as of now.

I have been dualbooting for years, and after some work I have done with Windows 10, I have to say I am not impressed at all and not wanting to use such an OS. Will use Win7 temporarly till more games come out on Linux. Windows may be kept as dual boot simply for just gaming, all other work on Mint.

Now that my MT-25 is mostly upgraded, I'll post my thoughts on it.

Its ridiculous fast (top speed wise), I've hit 80 going down hill for crying out loud... Without the top engine it doesn't get to its 70-ish top speed but it stays around 60 which is adequate. It isn't the best turner out there, but the improved suspension does make a noticeable difference to change this. Overall it is great for flanking/circling, you just have to make sure you don't lose its awesome straight-line speed when turning, as it also drifts A LOT. The top gun (ZiS as on the T-34) is unusual in its performance, as it has low pen., low damage, but it gets a great reload time in returns you basically have to go out and out-dpm enemy scouts if possible. It's a solid scout all in all, but w/o the top engine it isn't remarkable in one area.

@TR1 I've started my VK grind. So far I'm close to getting the Tier 4 na and then from there the Pz. IV.
