I was gonna say, it reminds me a bit of my service in the Murmansk region
Only instead of flasks full of caviar, we collected buckets full of berries.
Blueberries, Cranberries and my favorite of all - Cloudberries; which only grow in the swamps; so what we used to do is put on our chemical suits and go in and get 'em

Wish I could have served in the Asian regions, Its a different atmosphere I assume. Us instead of a flask full of caviar or berries it would be a flask full of alcohol Although if you ask me I would rather caviar and berries.

1.) What was the diameter of the HEAT rounds, 125 mm?
2.) Was this base armor or with ERA?

I have a question for anyone who could answer this (GarryB, Werewolf), in this video at '2:20' mark you see a 122 mm Grad warhead explode at an angle in the CGI graphic, is that some sort of directional fragmentation warhead? Usually you only hear about those kind of warheads in SAM missiles.

They are showing that the new warhead comes down perpendicular to the ground, which allows for better fragmentation properties.
The previous version came down non perpendicular, and the fragmentation area was not a perfect circle.
They show a coverage chart in the subsequent scene.

What he said.
Those rounds were designd to destroy targets in the open like infantry, non armored and armored personal carriers, Artillery and Mortar Batteries etc pp. .
Old rounds were only effecting targets close to epicenter and the effect on target varied depending on the angle to the ground, so majority of fragments were blusted into the ground while the remaing fragments were annihilitating close targets, now it nice cone. There is also another modernized and optimized version.
It has two fuze options, Elektronic Command fuze or Kontakt-proximity Fuze (Airburst).
