Dunno how thats Russias fault, add to that, these will be useless to the terrorists as evident if them trying to use a tank, which is far more basic.

Hope the SAM system have been disabled by the Syrian forces and the ISIS is no way capable to operate it.

Probably by the end of Feb or in march we might see spearheads in direction of Idlib from Jisr Shughur. It is a slow process clearing the forested mountains along the Turkish border as we have seen in recent months. SAA just need to be slow and steady with zero to minimal causality.
    Syrian Civil War: News #5 - Page 23 CZBKERVU0AEAz5w

Once those open borders with Turkey is closed, the supply and support lines will completely choke.
Has there been VKS airstrikes in those areas?

As someone who served attached to Kub battery, these will be useless for them. They do not know how to operate these things unless they pay foreign operators from Armenia, Russia or somewhere else.

Not that it really matters, but what is shown in the images is nothing like a battery. Where is the rest?

even though some good news in Deir ez Zoir it just goes to show what happens when one front gets slightly neglected ISIS know that Russian air strikes are limited due to the number of aircraft and add this with the SAA being overstretched they obviously decided to take there chances, and the RuAF then had to come to the rescue. The RuAF are working round the clock and can only fly so many sorties a day, this alone won't win the war but it is helping a lot there's no doubt about that. My fear is Deir Ez zoir is going to get more focus from ISIS especially if they start withdrawing from eastern Homs ISIS fleeing from here will naturally end up in Deir Ez zoir thus increasing the numbers here, which might get to a point they have a enough to swamp the SAA stationed here. There just too many fronts for the SAA, if only countries like China, India, Algeria, Kazahkstan and Belarus didn't join the war against ISIS, this would free up RuAF to focus on FSA etc, if these countries got involved ISIS would be gone in Syria in 6 months.

Nobody important I suppose.  Another useless group that dictates from a chair accross the ocean thousands of miles away from where they are going to talk about.

    That said,

Didn't Higgins get canned from some sort of online group that deals with forensics and such?  Wasn't he called a hack?

His little outburst on RT was hilarious when they called him out on his shit.  He just resorted to typical ad hominen attacks due to his retardation.

Robert Parry has been critical of Higgins  https://consortiumnews.com/2016/01/15/mh-17s-unnecessary-mystery/

In particular his botched investigation of the Syrian gas attack.

Despite having made significant mistakes in an earlier investigation of the Syria-sarin case in 2013 – including misstating the range of suspect missiles – Higgins has been treated as something of a savant on the MH-17 case, basing his analysis on photographs that popped up the Internet purportedly showing a Buk missile system heading eastward from Donetsk shortly before MH-17 was shot down.
(I like the point Parry makes about Russia being West of Donetsk but the BUK fled East)

Did the clip corroborate the "claim" or refute it, you think?

Like ..., why would RT be asking the question from blah and blah and not from the Russian military, and why ...? Why would the blah and blah happen to be "some media reports"? Doesn't RT have a better source?

If this "claim" turns out to be true, it would be the first of its kind related to Syria. Over the past 24 hours, they "claimed" Turkey sent forces to Syria; and they "claimed" Turkish artillery shelled Syria. Fake and fake.

They claimed Israeli airforce attacked and killed Samir Quntar on December 19th. Not true, there was no Israeli airforce involvement.

i really hope it is fake, as i don't any USA presence in Syria. But like anything in till there is further evidence i.e from the Syrian government condemning it and making complaints to the UN then i suppose we will have to wait and see.

some more info on it from Al jazeera but seems like the same article just copied.
