SAA makes Ukrainian army look good. Mortar strikes on their position
Check how you never see emplacement of the mortars nor their preparation and actuation. These guys aren't regular mujis. These are regular military people making a killing. The exact same way the traktorists would trash Ugrain. Also very interesting, apparently these guys don't seem to think that a digging in is a good idea (like Ugropes). last clip doesn't make sense. And is from a known killing spot calm posted previously where they are being hit with ATGM's. Not from this mortar strike.

I maintained this from the start of the conflict; the Kurds are playing their own game. They've been given an inch, and they've taken the proverbial mile...

It's just like the scenario with Hamas all over again! After years of support from the Syrian side, they were quick to betray the Syrian govt. when the West started whispering sweet nothings in their ears, their shot at a autonomous state has now been flushed down the toilet, and their true colors have reavled themselves. They may not support Burqas and public beheadings, but their zealotry towards forming a break-away banana republic is very comparable to that of ISIS creating a caliphate, except instead of Sharia Law it'll be a ethnocracy where there is only room for one ethnic group (Kurds). We've seen this playbook before, the Kurds were just as much guilty for the Armenian Genocide as the Turks were, and we've seen the Kurds in Iraq openly vandalizing Ancient Assyrian carved reliefs.

US is also helping them too, since they threatened action against both Russians and Syrians if they bomb the positions. At that point, I would tell them to pound sand and state they have neither UN mandate or official permission to operate in Syria, then bomb the YPG.

Inevitable development given the US/SDF relationship and that the US has not given up on ousting or making life as difficult as possible for Assad.
Is the US now expecting Syrian forces not to provide air defence for their army?

Turkey is now hitting ISIS and Kurds positions in Hasaka. And apparently attacking SDF with arty in manbij. Looks like Turkey turned on US and is assisting SAA for at least this moment.

Looks like the cheese-Kurds who are trying to get their whey, are going to get sandwiched in between a Syrian-Turkey sandwich, french-fried even...but it's all gravy with Poutine in power.

Re: Syrian Civil War: News #9
This might not have been part of the plan when all those fighters were allowed to escape. Unintended consequences and all that. Are the SDF Kurds the same as the Kurds in this part of Turkey? If not, do they care what happens over the border in Turkey?
Daesh militants who fled Manbij after its liberation last week, were able to enter Turkey and strengthen the terrorist presence in the province of Gaziantep, Turkish MP Mahmut Togrul told Sputnik.

On Saturday 54 people were killed and more than 100 injured after a suicide bombing at a Kurdish wedding party in Turkey's southeastern city of Gaziantep. The Turkish government has said that the attack was carried out by a Daesh terrorist.
Local politicians told Sputnik Türkiye that several terror cells are operating in Gaziantep, where the local people now fear another attack. Mahmut Togrul, a Turkish MP who represents Gaziantep on behalf of the pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party, linked the attack to the recent liberation of Manbij in northern Syria from Daesh.
Last week the US-backed, Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces drove out Daesh from Manbij after more than two months of fierce fighting. Daesh fighters were pictured escaping from Manbij towards the Turkish border, taking human shields with them.
"The date of this attack was no coincidence. This explosion is the terrorists' revenge for the liberation of Manbij. This action was planned and targeted. It is significant that everybody who died in the explosion were Kurds, related to our party one way or another. This act of terrorism should be considered an attack on the Kurdish population," Togrul said. Togrul said that his party has made repeated calls for tighter control of Turkey's border with Syria, but that the appropriate measures have not been taken.

1. They aren't invading shit, ISIS will give it up after some fake fighting to their suppliers.
2. Russia? they have no real ground forces in syria wtf are you talking about?. Russia is just air power now unless Jets can suddenly seize ground I can see why no one takes you remotely serious. Russia cannot snap its fingers and make the SAA turn into some beast force. You know nothing about military training, Has a solider it really amuses me when civilians make this kinds of comments.
Russia is not responsible for the SAA, a force who cannot fight on it's own will die on it's own. Russia holding their hand will do nothing for them. They are doing what they can providing logistic and air power, the SAA must pull their weight.
America spent over five years training Georgians to invade South Ossetia yet conscript peacekeeping troops with less training kicked their teeth in.
I could go on about the sheer ignorance of your comment but I rather not cause I feel it will be utterly pointless.

I don't know why people respond to this troll, on the topic of Jarabulus, it is a good thing that Turkish troops are there, they will be likely there for a short while anyway and they will keep the Kurds distracted for a while, it would not surprise me one bit, if Turkey got the green light from Russia to do this(to keep the Kurds in check).

Re: Syrian Civil War: News #9
Essentially Par Far may be correct. As well, Turkey is using their own assets (artillery and aircrafts) while FSA is used to deal with the capturing. So unless Russia decided to place both ground and air units, then Russia would also obtain territory quite fast. But Russia relies their ground forces to be SAA and Tiger forces (Tiger forces are at least competent).
As well, ISIS is gaining ground in Hasaka after the kurds took over. So either they are in bed with each other, or Kurds were really taken by surprise. Other "either" is that USA may have just sent the Kurds to their doom and helped ISIS (since I find it "odd" that ISIS is now gaining ground when not long ago, USA was helping Kurds in Hasaka.
