Don't Turkey have a thousand troops invading Syria?
    That's hardly blowing smoke.

And not a single one of them is anywhere near SAA except for maybe al Bab. And that place is already giving Erdogan some very bad ulcer.

Turkish artillery just a few days ago shelled and killed many SAA soldiers in Latakia.
Also joint SAA/SDF force clashed today with Turks/FSA and snatched a village or two from them near Al Bab.

Someone (SyAF?) attacked Turks in North Aleppo... probably a warning over attacking the Kurds. Turks retaliated in Latakia with artillery. Then VP had his heart to heart with Erdogan... sometimes the chess moves come quickly.

The Latakia shelling happened before the air strike on the Turks. Actually Turkish Army shelling is usual business ever since SAA reached the border there. Never really stopped.

Good footage. Lots of AK74 and some optics too.
Civilians seem grateful to the SAA too.

    Erdogan is history..
Without a no fly zone he will be unable to send a big army ,big enough to counter the
Syrian one. and to impose a no fly zone it need to fight Russian Airforce ,in other words
declare war on Russia. So good luck to ERdogan ,he will need it. he will be alone against
Russia ,IRAN ,Syria ,IRAQ ,Armenia and CHina will join later.. LOL   and Greece will help with intelligence Russia of its radars that are closer to Turkey and its Navy will be spying for Russia. will pass information off turkey positions of its navy and combat planes movements and Istanbul military deployed there ,as soon Erdogan lose 2 -3 warships he will surrender. and talk about friendship.. He is a parasite clown a bufon ,with a personality disorder.

He have no chance to ever remove Assad ,not in a million of years with Russia support .
The only thing Erdogan can do is make things more slower for Syria but at the same time his economy will sink financing that military operation that will lead to nothing. Since every territory the controls in Syria he will need to supply and maintain is not business efficient. And with Trump now as President of US , it will not be any easier. My bet is Trump will arm kurds to the teeth to get away with Erdogan.  In the end Turkey will be forced to leave Syria when its economy totally sink and find itself isolated from the world.. Wonderful. Cool

Sorry for the Turks who support that evil madmen ,that is Aiding Alqaeda and ISIS in Syria. But if you do not remove that monster from power it will totally ruin your country.

There are reports that Israel hit a town near Damsus, the target was Hezbollah.

These Jews need to be taught a lesson.

Guess Russia needs to cancel agreements with the Turks.

Sounds to me like he is just being honest... clearly he can't be a western politican...

He admits now shooting down the Russian pilots was an error and now he is saying they entered Syria to remove Assad... if only Kerry could tell the truth... but when you don't know what that word means it is hard.

Erdogen gets to keep the Kurds from completely owning his border for the time being and comes across to his peep as a manly warrior. He owes VP plenty.

But then Syrian government forces get some relief because their enemies are now also fighting turkish forces.

As long as turkish forces eventually withdraw back to turkey and don't try to keep any bits of syria there should not be any issues...

We really don't know where Erdogan is coming from, for all we know, this may be given as an opportunity for Erdogan to save face and keep his "tough" guy image.

Erdogan is pinned into a corner, he has ruined his relationship with the EU and there is little chance that Turkey gets in the EU.

Erdogan know if he pisses off Russia and Iran, he is fucked and also Erdogan says a lot of things, just last week, he said that Turkey will look into joining the SCO.

What seems to be happening in these rapid advances is that either a section of the front crumbles when assaulted or a section deserts to the SAA revealing all kinds of info on the surrounding areas.

Then, in either case, before they know it those surrounding areas are under attack from their rear as well as their front. I suspect that the defensive lines face forward rather than being like forts facing all ways.

Whatever it is the SAA and friends certainly have the bit between their teeth, hitting different parts as now when the militants were probably reinforcing the airport road area only to be hit in the south. Someone is giving them very good advice.

Wonder if there are any western 'advisors' in still trapped in there?
