Likely controlled by NATO infiltrators now, or possibly has been since its inception. This sort of thing will likely be a problem for the foreseeable future. But saying they found sarin, what does it prove exactly, except that the oscar-award-winning White Penis-Tips are a fraud?

Tests have shown that Sarin or similar nerve agent was used in the Syrian town of Khan Sheykhun, the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) said in a press release. Based on testing of the dead and survivors of the incident.

Tests prove nothing about who is responsible for the attack.

So that's the purpose of the parachutes, to give the planes enough time to get aaway from the shockwave? Wow, anyone in underground structures, tunnels etc. is most definitely fooked then... jeeze louise.

The parachute allows the aircraft delivering the weapons to escape the blast, but these are thermobaric weapons, so unless the tunnels are open, the vapour explosive would not penetrate underground... these are blast weapons that would efficiently blow down buildings and structures on the surface, and would consume oxygen in the area of the explosion but would not be very efficient at penetrating bunkers or tunnels unless it actually entered a tunnel and exploded inside.

The parachute makes them explode verticaly on the ground for max effect at the expense of precision that's why they are flying low.

Actually parachute retarded bombs are not inaccurate. The ballistic path of the bombs are just as predictable as dumb iron bombs unless the parachute fails. the deceleration rate can be calculated and the impact point calculated as accurately as a standard bomb.

Also exploding almost or actually vertically is really only useful for HE Frag bombs, for a thermobaric bomb the explosive material is spread and then detonated... the angle of the shell casing would have little effect on the performance of the bomb.

With a low velocity round like a mortar bomb with a high trajectory the near vertical path of the bomb gives a nice circular regular pattern for fragments which makes them more effective compared with a round from a gun which might come in at an angle because it is the sides of the shell that are prefragmented and not the nose or rear.

In this situation the aircraft probably delivered from a safe altitude so the parachute served no practical purpose. It would have altered the ballistic path of the bomb but that would have been compensated for by the bomb release calculations so the effect on accuracy would be low or nothing.

Interesting, so basically we have a WADA situation here, and as a bonus, this agency is currently being headed by a Turk, Ahmet Üzümcü..... great.

I have very low expectations from western muppets these days.
The truth is ignored if it ever surfaces anyway so I have learned not to listen.

BTW nice vids in post 435 above... note the second video the two bombs that went off close together to the right of the image you can see the first to hit the ground exploded and actually set off the bomb coming in beside it while it was a few metres above the ground... this suggests impact fuses rather than air burst or penetration settings.

In the first video the amount of time the bombs spent in flight on parachutes suggests they bombs were dropped from a high altitude... not ideal, but they are very effective bombs for a wide range of soft targets.

I would expect due to the time they took to fall that they were likely dropped from above 1,000m which means they were probably ODAB-500PMV, which have parachutes, but are designed to be dropped from 200-12,000m. They can also be dropped from helos...

I should add that a parachute increases the flight time of the bomb, which means it spends more time being effected by cross winds which would certainly reduce accuracy, but these are blast weapons that are not precision weapons anyway.

Not sure when this happened but it is a reminder that whatever anyone says in the UN unless it is on the MSM's agenda it might not have ever been said. Embedded video at link.

The Israelis never once bombed ISIL but always bomb Syrian government forces.

Russia needs to send a message and shoot these f*ckers down. Let NATO screech all it wants, it will have no
case whatsoever. The world will not swallow any crying about innocent Israeli jets being shot down for acts of
aggression. These aren't civilian aircraft delivering aid or evacuating refugees.

This time doing it from controled territory in the Golan and just attacking the front line.

It is a sign that the previous Syrian answer worked well. The no-fly zone for Israel begins to work.

Likely the Syrian report about Israeli aircrafts shut down and damaged was right.

Because, food and such are sent there for civilians and they take a share, as for weaponry i could only assume that there is some sort of production facilities there.

A decent article on the methods by which supplies into East Ghouta have been maintained, basically by a nod and a wink from government and "opposition" aka terrorist officials who agre to allow a local (wealthy) business man to funnel large quantities of goods through a particular checkpoint while gov troops pretend not to notice....

Government tightens siege on East Ghouta

It seems that Damascus now wants this shutdown, presumably because of the recent AQ-led attacks and short-lived incursions into government held areas. Hopefully the dire predictions in this report are all true. These jihadi-supporters need to receive the message loud and clear that they have two choice. Die in hunger and filth, or agree to capitulate. The latter means stay and be a decent citizen (ie what teh vast majoirty will do) or leave on the green buses and go and join the rest of your filthy goat-fucking child-killing Wahabbist brethen in idlib...

Not going to be much left of it by the time they have finished. Would be easier to dump a couple of Tu-24M3 loads on them.

Wonder why they are devoting so much time and energy to the place. Is it particularly strategic or lots of terrorists holed up there?

Not so good news from Almasdar

BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:50 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched a big offensive in the western sector of Aleppo today, targeting the jihadist defenses south of the Al-Zahra’a Association Quarter.

Led by the 5th Legion and 30th Division of the Republican Guard, the Syrian Arab Army attempted to advance north of the Al-Tamourah axis, striking the jihadist defenses at the Al-Kharbah area.

However, the Syrian Arab Army’s assault would prove unsuccessful today, as the jihadist rebels were well-prepared for this offensive near the Al-Zahra’a Quarter.

According to a military source in Aleppo, the Syrian Arab Army lost 23 soldiers during today’s assault, along with one tank that was destroyed by an anti-tank missile.

Today’s unsuccessful assault by the Syrian Arab Army marks the third failed attack they have conducted this week in the western sector of Aleppo.

I wonder how many rebel forces are tied up defending this area and unable to reinforce the battle in North Homs. Wink

No they don't. Iran does. Russia is about to wrap things up on their end. Coast is secured and Idlibistan is being chipped away.

Iran is the one who has been halfassing it and hopefully they will soon pay the price.

USA is not trying to take East Syria because they love sand. It because they need launching point for attack on Iran. And I see no problem with it. Middle East burns even brighter, USA gets another 3 decades of "Fallujah" with Persians, Iran gets what is coming to them (in part for the bullshit they have been pulling off with Turks and Saudis in Balkans), Israel will be under eternal intifada, Saudis burn even more cash in addition to jihad-on-jihad the have down south and EU liberal clownhouse goes even further down the shitter along with Turks.

As long as Russia keeps coast secure it is win-win situation.
