2 years ago it would take them 2 months to take 2 apartment buildings only to lose them 2 days later.
But now they are taking whole provinces like it ain't no thang...

Well ISIS let alot of their spare manpower get surrounded so the SAA will have an easier time dealing with them now since alot of their guys are trapped in the pockets.
That said most of the SAA is still fairly incompetent in a fight only a couple of their formations are worth a dam.
It's also the fact ISIS just cannot support it's self like it did two years ago

Nothing like a few years fighting under the belt I guess...
There is a view out there held by some of those who believe that Israel/Saudi are behind ISIS that one of the side functions of ISIS is to seek out and destroy any archaeological sites, like those places of worship, that may contain ancient scripts that could cast light on what went on in the area 2000+ years ago.Big_Gazza wrote:crod wrote:What a shame to lose all those historical buildings - these Wahhabi goat fucking vial pieces of shit deserve to die, every last one of them. Not sure there are any demolished buildings here. ISIS tend to destroy temples and other places of pre-Islamic worship. They don't care much about "mundane" constructs like city walls and fortifications.
That, together with the increase in skill level in Hesbollah/Iranian forces/PMU, is making Israel/US twitch, hence the visit by Israel PM + Mossad head to Sochi today to see the 'Man who Matters' in today's ME.d_taddei2 wrote:
A bit of Russian's training them, and some tough lessons learnt and of course experience. I am sure at the end of all this the Syrian armed forces will be much better than they were before and will be better than other middle eastern armed forces which isn't that difficult really.
Good idea but a hell of a transport cost from the timber growing areas.PapaDragon wrote:
