Seriously Kvs what's your problem here? I'm the one who said that Zakharova's statement should not be taken as a given (and it shouldn't, she is not in the military command chain) so If you have issues then direct it at me.

Calm and John just quoted my post and Moron the Ehenia just did what he always does.

Looks like they could be getting closer to creating a suitable crossing point with some protection either side and hard banks both sides. Haven't seen it but some are claiming Russia is denying hitting the SDF, whoever did it it ain't going to be good for SDF confidence!

There was some co-ordinated action earlier but rumor was that Uncle Sam objected. In fact after it stopped so did the Syrian advance... too much open flank.

Now the intoxicators openly bullying kvs, lol

Like if it would make a difference, like if the people would not be reading comment after comment to know clearly were they are.

So obvious to see them spreading as true, all the fake reports of pro-US forces fast advance, and all the fake reports fabricated by pro-US sources about attacks of Russia to the Kurdis (a war they desperately want to promote), while they put all their salt, they talk about fake news and they treat M Zakharova like unreliable source showing their internal strong disrespect about her.

So obvious to see them ignoring how US officials rejected the Kurd referendum in Iraq, in order to continue promoting the hate to the Kurds between pro-Russian people in places like this.

Like if the people would not be reading comment after comment which are their reliable sources...

Unfortunately for them, if Russia attacks some people in territory controled by the SDF, it will be US paramilitary groups (which are who have some air defense weapon and the most advanced anti-tank weapons provided by the US to their "allies"). The Russian intelligence is working, obviously. Russia will not retaliate Kurdish peasants armed with some rifle because of the actions of others.

There is a lot of disinfo going on in Syria. Possibly for obvious reasons.

My point is that i have a right to believe in some news or not. And not to be called pro NATO or intoxication propagandists by morons here for that..

KVS got what he asked for. You get much more when you accuse someone from here that he is a pro NATO pig.

You are fucking moron, that is twisting and lying all the time.

When did i said anything about that? Since you are putting me in the same group of intoxicators.

That is bad, i would like to see them independent in Iraq and then in Turkey. Only thing that is better than seeing NATO destroyed is seeing Turkey on it's knees.

One should always have a healthy degree of skepticism when digesting info from spokesman from ANY government and IF possible, double check with independant sources of info. This is basic. Now obviously every individual has preferences and biases when trusting certain sources vs. others and sometimes the issue is not about trust... but whether the info checks out with your base of knowledge of the matter at hand. This has gotten out of base for no reason other than settling personal scores. Mods got some cleaning to do.

Just a little "mistake" like south of Raqqa.  lol1

After the latest Syrian offensive took Isis forces west of Raqqa by surprise – a Russian air strike had mistakenly targeted a Kurdish position. “That is why we set up our centre here 10 days ago,” he said.
    http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/syria-isis-russia-kurdish-ypg-happening-in-secret-a7857471.html

Following the comment of miketheterrible, it is interesting to analize the comments calm trust.

Here we seem to have a reliable source for him talking about the supposed Russian attack to the Kurds.

    independent.co.uk

    who are them?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Independent

The Independent is a British online newspaper.[2] Established in 1986 as an independent national morning newspaper published in London, it was controlled by Tony O'Reilly's Independent News & Media from 1997 until it was sold to Russian oligarch Alexander Lebedev in 2010.[3] The last printed edition of The Independent was published Saturday 20 March 2016, leaving only its digital editions.[2]

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Lebedev

    Political career[edit]
In 2003, Lebedev stood as a candidate for elections to the Mayoralty of Moscow and the State Duma. He received 13% in the Mayoral elections, losing to Yuriy Luzhkov, but won a seat in the State Duma on the Rodina party list (he was actually number one on the Moscow regional list of the party). He remained in the Duma until 2007, when new elections were held. In the Duma, he initially moved from socialist/nationalist "Rodina" to the pro-Government United Russia fraction,[3] but after Rodina was merged into the larger socialist coalition Fair Russia, he made his return.

Lebedev was formerly the Vice Chairman of Duma's committee on the Commonwealth of Independent States, the coordinator of Duma's group on interactions with Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and the coordinator of the State Duma group dealing with the city.[3]

Lebedev, together with the former President of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev, is the owner of 49% of Novaya Gazeta, one of the most vocal newspapers critical of the current Russian Government.[19]

After the assassination of a prominent Novaya Gazeta journalist Anna Politkovskaya, Lebedev praised in print the talents of Politkovskaya and suggested her assassins were actually trying to target the good names of her opponents.[20] He pledged 25 million Russian rubles (around US$1 million) for the information leading to the arrest of the assassins.[20]

Lebedev is a founder and the President of the National Investment Council, a non-political and non-government organization working to improve the investment sentiments in Russia, protecting interests of the Russian business abroad, and fighting the negative sentiments towards Russian business.[3]

In September 2008, Russian politician Mikhail Gorbachev announced he was going to make a comeback to Russian politics along with Lebedev.[21] Their party was called the Independent Democratic Party of Russia.

In March 2009, Lebedev announced that he would be running for mayor of Sochi, host of the 2014 Winter Olympics,[22] but a court ruling declared his candidacy invalid on 13 April 2009.[23] The court ruling was a result of a complaint by another candidate, Vladimir Turukhanovsky, that Lebedev's campaign received three donations from minors that is forbidden by Russian electoral law. According to the chief of Lebedev's electoral campaign, Artyom Artyomov, the three teenagers were led to Sberbank by a staff member of the Sochi council, given 500 rubles each (approximately $20), and told to donate the money to Lebedev's campaign. His campaigners sent the money back the same day, it was received but still it was found sufficient to disqualify his candidacy. Lebedev said that he intended to appeal the court's decision.[24]

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Just_Russia

A Just Russia declared absolute opposition to Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's government, voting against the government's budgets in 2010 and 2011, while remaining strongly supportive of President Dmitry Medvedev and his modernisation programme.[1]

These are the reliable sources that calm seem to love... purple of laughs in this comment... So pretty

And the guy feeling still to be a winner... well calm, here is what you has been asking for (chapter 1)

Unlike the clowns working as spokesmen/women for the USA, Zakharova has not engaged in rivers of propaganda drivel. Clearly,
such a US-style circus does not suit Russia's interests. Russia cannot hope to gain anything from US-style lie factory spew.

Like I said, Zakharova is not Baghdad Bob and your "independent" sources consist mostly of fake stream media and other such
dubious outfits. Zakharova was putting out information that is in possession of Russian forces on the frontlines in Syria. All
the western media outlets have journalists sitting in hotels outside Syria writing articles based on jihadi excrement such as
"The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights".

All these maps being posted here about force distributions around Deir ez-Zor are pure conjecture based on twitter and social
media chatter. I don't recall much twitter activity from Deir ez-Zor residents during the seige and up until now. Do you think
SAA officers post twitter information on their deployments?

And in the meantime SAA is still on the wrong side of the river according to everyone relevant including Russia.

    So that leaves two options:

    1) SAA never crossed the river in which case Zakharova is full of shit (whether for right or wrong reasons, it's irrelevant)

    2) SAA crossed the river but since (given the hush-hush approach we seen) it's supposed to be covert ops, Zakharova dropped the ball and spoke out of terms

    3) Tiger and Russian forces did cross river, isn't classified info, just not documented because no media groups are or were present for the river crossing as they don't want to give exact position as to their pontoons were placed. We already noted Pontoons were indeed on the move.

I said "isn't classified" to state they crossed. Exact position as to where they crossed on the Euphrates, could possibly be. Thus the general statement that they crossed, and that's it. Not "we crossed from this point and this point on the map. If you just follow the media reports, it is exactly at this spot".

Recall the one reporter who reported on a location of a US base in Iraq (or Afghanistan) which decided to draw it in sand and then got canned just for that? Yeah.
