25k is way over-inflated. If one puts part-timers, holiday terrorists from abroad and underage cannon fodder aside they barely have 2-3 motorized brigade's worth of forces there. My estimate is some 10,000 armed terrorists geared against SAA and some 5,000 more in internal security (derka derka derka) duties. All that fragmented between the various terror groups.

The issue is SAA cannot deploy the required 3:1 (or ideally 5:1) ratio of forces to assault them. Yet.

Someone's providing field intelligence for ops on Russians. Accidents need to happen on the "SDF" in Deir. It's the only way they understand...blood.

They have already lost in Syria, so its preferable accidents  happen during lethal weapons transfers in Ukraine. As for Deir, maybe we might see the Krasnopol in action targeting illegal occupation forces.
Operational command has been clearly targeted, beginning with the attack on the PMC's, hence the reason for the strong condemnation of US SOF  activities in Deir Ezzor, and the release of satellite imagery. (Side note. The annotations should have been in English as well.)
