In February the 1490th regiment reached combat ready status in the Leningrad area.
This regimental set should have been the last handed over in late 2019
This regimental set of S-400 reached 63 battalions in service


n August the 1529th Regiment entered service in the Khabarovsk area. This must have been the first of those delivered in 2020, bringing the number to 65 active S-400 battalions.

The regiment in the Khabarovsk Territory received a set of S-400 "Triumph"
The regiment in the Khabarovsk Territory received a set of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system in 2020. This was announced by Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko.

"In the interests of the Aerospace Forces, a regimental set of the S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system has been delivered," he said at a single day of acceptance of military products.

Alexey Krivoruchko noted that the kit was delivered to the 1529th Guards Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment in Khabarovsk.

The regiment commander Roman Kapelyukh assured that all the rearmament measures on the S-400, scheduled for 2020, have been completed. According to him, the new system "significantly increased the regiment's capabilities to detect and destroy enemy air attack weapons."

The other two S-400 regimental sets hamded over in 2020, the most possible is to be deployed in Central Military District (185º in Yekaterinbrug and 568º in Samara)

There are not less of 40 S-300 battallions in service with VKS, each 12 launchers , this means at least other 1920 missiles (an this is only the VKS, the Army has also S-300)

According to Izvestia sources, the Russian MoD has made a decision to modernize older #S400 systems to enable use of 9M96-series SAMs (newer & export versions already have this capability). S-300PM systems will reportedly be modified for this purpose too.

They say it's a 40N6E launched by turkish S-400. IMO it's just a 48N6. I doubt they gave them the 40N6. We never saw footage of russian launch and I doubt it's in service yet.

The export 40N6 could be just a 48N6 with more fuel and nothing to do with russian 40N6 which should be part of S-500.

It is in service since 2018.

According to this news article it was the 185th regiment in Yekaterinburg that received the S-400.

All the S-400 systems and missiles have been delivered to China as of late last year. Two regiments.

Record indicators of practical missile firing of S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems in 2020

According to information received from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, in 2020, 10 anti-aircraft missile regiments of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation equipped with S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems, consisting of one or two divisions, were conducted at the Ashuluk and Telemba ranges. The firing was carried out by anti-aircraft missile regiments from Novosibirsk, Vladivostok, Znamensk, Novorossiysk, Sevastopol and others. Practical rocket firing of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system of the anti-aircraft missile regiment of the 2nd Red Banner Air Defense Division of the 6 Leningrad Red Banner Army of the Air Force and Air Defense at the Ashuluk training ground (Astrakhan Region), April 2020 (c) frame from the video of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation

It is reported that in the course of these firing, a total of 51 targets were used. 63 S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles were fired at targets. All targets were hit after being captured by the location with one missile. Fired 12 more missiles than targets - several targets were finished off on the machine with a second missile.

MOSCOW, November 11. /TASS/. Russia’s Almaz-Antey defense manufacturer delivered the final regiment set of S-400 ‘Triumf’ medium-to long-range anti-aircraft missile systems this year, fulfilling its annual delivery plan ahead of schedule, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

"Almaz-Antey Group delivered the next and final regiment set of S-400 ‘Triumf’ surface-to-air missile systems to the Defense Ministry this year ahead of schedule as part of its commitments under the defense procurement plan," the statement says.

The company’s commitments to the Defense Ministry of Russia for delivering S-400 ‘Triumf’ air defense systems have been discharged "in full and ahead of schedule," Almaz-Antey CEO Yan Novikov was quoted as saying in the statement.

Upon their delivery to the Defense Ministry, the S-400 systems held a test-fire exercise at a proving ground, the statement says.

"Following the results of the firings, the military hardware operated without a hitch and the acceptance/delivery trials passed successfully," the company stressed.

The press office of Russia’s Central Military District earlier reported that teams of the anti-aircraft missile regiment from the Samara Region in the Volga area had moved to the southern Astrakhan Region to receive the latest S-400 ‘Triumf" systems that would replace their S-300 predecessors.

Russia’s S-400 ‘Triumf’ (NATO reporting name: SA-21 Growler) is the latest long-and medium-range surface-to-air missile system that went into service in 2007. It is designed to destroy aircraft, cruise and ballistic missiles, and can also be used against ground installations. The S-400 can engage targets at a distance of up to 400 km and at an altitude of up to 30 km under intensive enemy fire and jamming.

Don´t be lazy and start producing the next one.

On November 5, 2020, the Press Service of the Central Military District reported that the calculations of the Samara anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Central Military District (TSVO) departed to the Kapustin Yar training ground (Astrakhan region) to receive the S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system (SAM). The new S-400 system will enter the regiment for the first time and will replace the S-300 air defense system in service. Samara anti-aircraft gunners underwent retraining at the Anti-Aircraft Missile Forces Training Center of the Military Academy of Aerospace Defense in the Leningrad Region. Upon arrival at the training ground, they will have to accept a new S-400 air defense system, undergo additional training on this system, and pass tests for admission to combat firing. “This is the second anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Central Military District this year, which will be rearmed on the S-400 Triumph,” added Colonel Gennady Shlag, chief of the anti-aircraft missile forces of the 14th Air Force and Air Defense Army of the Central Military District.
