Unless it's just one for field tests or Latakia air-base garrison, it wouldn't make sense to send these to SAA as aid, in any number.
If it's SAA aid indeed, I'd go for old school T-72B obr 1989.

Russians are not going to change their way.

1. It sets them apart from the locals. Which is not what the Russians wanted.
2. It would force them get a double system, only reserved for them. Which isn't the way they were down since now.
3. This comes after more than 2 years of failed attempts. The only worrying problem is that it is so close to the Russian base. Someone went really the extra mile.

Kote, I can't find any actual news on this other than saying denials. So far, Russia's been honest with reporting casualties and both Syrian military and Russian deny it according to almasdarnews. Plus I don't see anyone else reporting it.

Wait until they get to unload the two KIA on an operational assignment. My sources are not some guys on Twitter.

Against kornets or TOW missiles, it is better for them to be on the vehicle than inside. At least they won t be burned and the HEAT warehead is not really dangerous for people than are not directly touched by it because it will touch the side of the truck and not the top. They also have pretty good view around and they will know where the enmy is thanks to drones flying over them.

Since no one is doing anything about the US base in Syria, even though its blatantly illegal, I'm wondering if Russia would stop US base building on their own territory of US tried? We know the US will never leave, and no one is actually attempting to attack the base even though we know of US collaboration with terrorists. So what's the point? This war will never end and so far, Russia, Iran and Syria showed their weakness in dealing with the US.

Oh please....

Russia got it's slice in Syria covered. Those US bases are only boosting Kurdish regional separatist efforts but that is not Russia's problem, it's someone else's. And that someone else should be dealing with them if they are bothered.

As for US bases in Russia part, see Ukraine.

But that's the thing. Russia fucked up and let the US build bases in its backyard. Odessa.  So that is rather a bad sign of things to come to Russia (being ripped apart or turned into vassal) cause what good is having a strong military if you just let people walk in and set up shop?

Then again, I guess Russia lost Ukraine 2 decades ago and they voluntarily gave it up back in the 90's so don't know if the recent events count or not.

also, your statement doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Either your saying Russia won't cause they carved their part out in Syria. Or your saying Russia was weak and allowed US bases in Ukraine?

I guess if Russia didn't decide to freely give up its part of Ukraine, theybwouldnt have this issue. Thanks Soviet Union.
