We extend our condolences and congratulations to our Master, the Imam of the Age (may Allah hasten his reappearance), to his rightful representative, the honorable Sayyid Ali Khamenei (may his shadow endure), to all the working scholars and fighters on the frontiers of Islam, and to ourselves, for the martyrdom of the leader of the resistance and defender of the oppressed, the martyr Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary-General of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah.

The leader of the resistance has gone forth as a witness to the oppression of the peoples and the weak, as a witness to the arrogance of global hegemony represented by America and the Zionists, as a witness to the land and holy places usurped from the Islamic nation, as a witness to the Arab and Islamic betrayal, and as a witness to the existence of strong fighters for the truth, and as a witness to the unity of the fronts. The blood of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has been shed to pave the way for Al-Quds.

This great leader has inflicted great suffering on the enemies of the nation with his might and eloquence, instilling fear in their hearts and shaking the foundations of the occupiers and the hypocrites. We do not see behind him – if Allah wills – anything but the same strength, a sense of responsibility, and steadfastness on the original Islamic Muhammadan principles and values.

We call upon the Bahraini people, who are passionately devoted to this great leader, to a general mobilization and to avenge his blood from the criminal Zionists. Any Zionist present on the land of Islamic Bahrain has his blood permissible, as they are warring against Allah and His messengers, and you are a resisting people against this cancerous existence.

We remember this great leader's stances with the people and his significant support to lift the oppression from them; he has always supported the people with words and actions. Let us raise pictures of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah everywhere, decorate our villages and towns with the yellow flag, and instill his love in the hearts of our generations.

We ask Allah for mercy and eternal life for the honorable martyr Sayyid, and patience and solace for his family and honorable loved ones, and steadfastness for us and for the fighters on the path of resistance.

The way Iran is acting, Israel is going to think they are weaker than they really are. I don't have much of a partisan take on this war. But I think Iran can do more than basically nothing.

Also, this is a good lesson for Russia. If they started hitting Ukrainian leadership from the get go, it is very possible war would be over by now and thousands of Russian lives would be preserved.

Hardly a good comparison... there are two very very obvious differences here... first of all the leadership of Kiev has proved to be massively incompetent by all measures, and the second obvious difference is that the Ukrainian leadership is in Washington and London and Brussels, and they are incompetent as well... the US has broken the EUs energy security and their future is looking rather bleak, but then there are many in the US that will celebrate having one less rival, many others will point out that they did as they were told which makes them excellent battering rams against other enemies, so to weaken them actually weakens HATO.

People talk about this or that country using nuclear weapons first, but I think the most likely to use them is Israel and painting themselves into a corner... setting the precedent that killing opponents leadership is acceptable, well Iran has plenty of missiles and rockets and Israel is not a huge country... now that more Iranian officials have been killed by Israel, Iran could make a case that they have been attacked and are now acting in self defence... the way the Israeli defence forces are acting in self defence in Gaza perhaps?

The US is not ready for a real war in the region. Not even a medium intensity war. I think Iran could get away with some sizable retaliation. What is the US and Israel really going to do ? But here they are, signalling weakness.

Some analysis from George Szmuely. He believes Israel will invade up to the Litani river. He also doesn't buy the long held claims that Hezbo has enough rockets to overwhelm Iron dome and all that.

Netanyahu is running out of time. He has been talking about attacking Iran since 2005. He is unlikely to end his term without attacking Iran imo. His time is now. Tehran wont be out of bounds for Israel.
